Yesterday I talked to you about being honest. Well, today I’d like to discuss with you about life being simple. It’s quite simple really, not that hard to follow through with and even though you can’t see simplicity, you can still touch it.

I was reading in my Bible about all the different things God had to say about being simple. Well, a prudent man sees evil and hides himself, but a simple man shall pass on and be punished. But I’m not meaning that kind of simple – the word means many different things. Some synonyms are: plain, homely, naive and artless. I’m not necessarily discussing being simple, but instead how life can be simpler than what some of us may make it out to be.

In one’s life, troubles will come and they will pass. You just can’t forget that there is someone up above, someone watching over you. If you let him lead you, he will. He’s gone before you in every dark place you go. He is our mighty defender. the great God Jehovah – he is our defense!

In the quote I wrote above, what I’m trying to say is that I know life can be hard and when you think about it, it really isn’t that simple in any way, but that’s only because you can’t see the simplicity around you because it’s hidden behind all the hard events going on in your life. But just like my favorite scripture in Psalms 118:24 even though you think the day may seem bad, there is still good in it and even though you can’t find simple, it is there and it doesn’t mean it isn’t reachable for you.

I know it can get hard and the road can seem long but you have just got to keep moving on. Don’t give up! Never say never, and let your heart lead you around. Your heart can lead you to any place. Just look toward heaven ask God for guidance and he will take you to where you need to be. Things may not seem simple during this process but rest assured they will be, because life is simple. We just make it too complicated to live most of the time.

Peace and serenity are all around us, but the schedule of most can make this peace and serenity vanish in the background, unnoticed, because of how rushed life can be. Sometimes we need not rush into this life and just enjoy the simple things God offers to us instead.

Breath out the complications in life.

BREATH IN

Breath in the simplicity of life.

Even if you can only find a moment or so to do this, make the time and you will feel much better. Like I talk about constantly, this is the day that the Lord hath made. It’s good because Jesus is in it! And once you breath out the complications in life, you’re making room to breath in the simplicity of life.
