That’s right, you read the above title correctly! This coming Saturday, April 20th, not only will I be busy playing as James Fickle at the opening of Redland Church, but I will also be performing at a School fundraiser for a new playground!
My Recent Event at New Life Worship Center: “I’m Only Jesus”
I am excited about this, and been working on the songs I am going to sing for them. I don’t know how much they want out of me but it’s better to go prepared with a lot then be unprepared. I have only performed two songs at once, but I will have a few more on hand (just in case) for this upcoming event. Lots of practice coming my way! I can’t wait!
I’ve been a little sick lately though and that is a big affect on my singing, I didn’t know how I was even gonna sing the other day at the church, New Life Worship Center. But nevertheless, I did! I am getting over this sickness and it doesn’t affect my singing hardly at all so I’m sure it will be just fine.
Also, I can’t wait to get my first ever LIVE performance of “The James Fickle Show” recorded! I know that is going to be both fun to perform and then see! I’ve acted only just once in front of big crowd and that was at KD college when I did my theatre scene, though this is a bit different than that because it isn’t like I’m rehearsing – I’m just going to dive into it like I always do. I have my message prepared and what I’m going to have Fickle preach about; it’ll all just go from there.
Lots of great things are in store for this year. I am certain of it! Sometimes in life we may get discouraged and it may seem like there isn’t any way possible that we can make it out, whether it be about a job issue, a financial issue or any other kind of issue. Sometimes life can just really get a person down and discouraged… Maybe even a friendship/family issue? Who knows, but whatever the issue: GOD has ALL the answers. Yes, he does.
It really is that simple. Let me share an image with you that my best buddy Cameron sent me awhile back. We been having some difficulty because we haven’t seen each other in so long now and don’t get to hang out with each other because of the distance, but God has answers for us and he has ways to help us endure whatever may come our way… These things mentioned in the image below can apply for both mine and Cameron’s friendship and for whatever is going on in your life.
Think about this… Think about these things, the scriptures above, what God has to say about any situation you might be going through right now. If you think it’s impossible you remember that ALL things are possible for God. NOTHING! (I do mean NOTHING!) is impossible for GOD!
I always say: “believe and you will see, have faith and it will be.” Because no matter what the situation may be you will see, if you have strong enough faith… You will see God come through. You will see the miracles, the blessings that he has in store for you, if you keep believing you will see it!
I know, I know, it is hard to look at the word or hear the word and want to believe it, and want to accept it. But, why not? Why not accept? Why not believe it? What’s so wrong with wanting to believe this? It’s too good to be true? No, it isn’t. Things may be tough right now and I know life isn’t a walk through the park and I know when everybody talks about what God can do, people want to believe that all at the same time still doubting… But if we would just have the faith of a mustard seed… MOUNTAINS will be moved!
God bless y’all!
