A New Dawning

It’s a new day, it’s a new beginning, it’s another week and here we are so very lucky to still be at the very early point of this New Year, 201720” being ‘Redemption’ (Biblically) and “17” meaning “Victory”

Anything that happened in the year 2016 that we wish to forget, we CAN forget, we CAN move away from, we CAN walk away from. 2016 was not the end, 2017 is just the beginning. The bible tells us that through Christ, we CAN.

 

  I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. Philippians 4:13 (KJV)

 

And not only that, it tells us that through HIM we also have strength. Let me first start this post off by saying this: I just feel led to say this. If you feel you have no hope left, if you feel you have lost your way, if you feel you cannot be saved from this road of destruction and turmoil that you are on. Let me just tell you this, you are wrong. The devil and some people would make you think it’s so hard to be saved, but that’s not true. The scripture says:

 

That if thou shalt confess with thy mouth the Lord Jesus, and shalt believe in thine heart that God hath raised him from the dead, thou shalt be saved. Romans 10:9 (KJV)

For with the heart man believeth unto righteousness; and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. Romans 10:10 (KJV)

For the scripture saith, Whosoever believeth on him shall not be ashamed. 10:11 (KJV)

 

The scripture tells us to repent, (which means to make reconciliation with God) ask him for forgiveness and turn – WALK away from the things of the past.  The scripture tells us that:

 

For whosoever shall call upon the name of the Lord shall be saved. Romans 10:13 (KJV)

 

If you know in your heart that the word of God is true and pure and perfect, then you must know that his word does not turn void. It is established and it is irrefutable. People may try and discredit it all that they can, but if you have just experienced a miracle in your life or in your spirit or in your day at all. Then you know, you know that he will not lead you wrong. You may not truly believe it in your mind, but in your spirit you know. The scripture tells us that the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Sometimes we let ourselves be consumed with worries and fears and even a little ‘regret’ now and then. But be not dismayed for he is with you, he is leading you and guiding you as we speak and he has carried you through many dangers, toils and snares, you have already come! (As the good old hymnal goes)

 

 

Amazing Grace:

 

 

How SWEET the SOUND. His Grace IS Sufficient! Now – when you take that very first step and you start serving God you will find many challenges arise. Because the devil don’t bother what he already has, but he will do his hardest to try and get back what God has just taken away. But woah, woah woah! Just hold up there devil, God did not take one thing away from you. He took BACK what you stole from HIM! Hallelujah! Dearly beloved brothers and sisters don’t you think for one second that the devil owns you, because you are God’s now. You have ALWAYS belonged to God, you just lost your way. But now you have found your way back and you are now no longer bound to sin! It no longer has dominion over you! (Romans 6:2, 9) The bible tells us that we are free, we are FREE…

So before we go any further, let’s recap –

 

 

  His Grace Is Sufficient!

We Are FREE!  

 

 

Sometimes it’s hard to let go of the past, it’s hard to move on. We want to hold on to the life we had, we wanna stay where we felt comfortable. A familiar place where everything went right (or at least appeared to go right) a place in which we find solace. But if we look in the bible we can find that Jesus never stayed in one place more then a few days. He was constantly moving, he would go and preach to the people of each town and they would either LOVE him or HATE him. They would either accept him or refuse him. Now most of us aren’t meant to stay in one place or one situation for too long. There are times in which he has greater plans for us. We may not know why or how we ended up where we are today. We may not understand why it is so hard. We may wonder why it is that things can’t just work out for us, or why we can’t just ‘fit in‘ somewhere.

But we must understand one thing, this world is not our home. We need not get too comfortable. We aren’t meant to LIVE here, we are meant to occupy until he comes. Jesus told us to ‘occupy’ until he comes. (Luke 19:13) We’re all Strangers Here traveling through this world of woe. If we truly put our trust in him, if we truly trust in him at all times and pour out our hearts before him and trust that he is our refuge (Psalms 62:8) then we know that we walk where he would have us to walk and if we aren’t too sure then we must seek him deeper and deeper until we know for sure that we are walking in his will and his truth. And if we are. If we know that we are. We know that all things work together for good to them that love God and to them who are the called according to his purpose. (Romans 8:28)

 

 

In Conclusion:

 

 

So let’s STOP. Let’s stop torturing ourselves with the questions that I know many of you must be all too familiar with. It is in our human nature to question what could of been, what should of been. What IF? IF only, ‘IF I would had just done this differently – IF I would have done something else. Could of I? Should Of I?’ No, no no! You are looking at this situation completely wrong my friend. Listen to me very closely, please. You are a child of the living God whom hath given you new life and with new life comes new adventure, new adversities and new places to go. He is guiding you and leading you. Do not look back, do not think back on what could of been or what may. Do not think upon these things because it will only cause you to grow regretful and bitter and your emotions will take over and when we let emotion take over we lose sight of the Kingdom.

The bible tells us to take no thought for our life what we should wear or what we should eat (Matthew 6:25) For the fowls of the air sow and reap not, yet our Father in heaven feeds them. Are we not better than they are? (Matthew 6:26) It goes on to tell us that our heavenly Father knows that we have ‘need’ of these things. But for us to seek first the Kingdom of God, and his righteousness; and all these things shall be added unto us. (Matthew 6:32-33)

We could sit and drive ourselves crazy about what could have been or should of been. But we must not be deceived for he is faithful and he will deliver (2 Thessalonians 3:3) and we are going exactly where he wants us to go. All of the people that you’ve lost touch with along the way, don’t be bitter towards them or angry that they are no longer in your life. God moved them out of your life and put you out of theirs for a reason. You aren’t going the same way that they are going and he has greater plans for us than we could ever even begin to imagine. Lost Time

The crack of an egg into a hot skillet can be heard throughout the entire house, as a whisk scrapes against the bowl of fresh made pancake batter and the sizzle of sausage is thunderous – while the morning sun rises from behind the wooded skyline.

It’s breakfast time… Or is it? Do we have time for that? Why is it that we tend to ‘lose track of time’? What is so wrong with us that we cannot even make time for a homemade morning meal. Sausage, eggs and pancakes for goodness sake! (I love pancakes with sausage right in the center of them drizzled in maple syrup. Yummy) You know – when I was younger breakfast was my most favorite meal. Whether it be breakfast pizza, bacon and eggs, perhaps biscuits and sausage gravy or maybe pancakes in the shape of mickey mouse. Sometimes it was as simple as butter and jelly on toast. I loved breakfast and when I make the time, it is still my most favorite meal. It IS the most important meal of the day, after all.

I find that breakfast is the most savory delight in the morning. Nothing beats your hunger in the mornings like a good ole’ fashioned home cooked breakfast accompanied by a nice tall glass of Orange Juice – It seems to me that a big American breakfast just cannot be made without a refreshing glass of orange juice. I do enjoy breakfast. But that is not the reason of this blog post. Though it does play a good part in it. We have lost time. In every way in our lives, we lose it every single day and we do not even take that very fact into consideration. We have become so consumed with doing our work faster and faster that we forget to breathe. We don’t take the time to smell the roses. We don’t think we have the time, if something is not done at high-speed then we just curl up in a ball and want to die. Our lives are filled with “Rush, Rush, Rush” or “Hurry, Hurry, Hurry”

“Move faster, faster! Don’t wanna be late! There’s no time for that. Maybe another day!” We work so hard, we move so fast. Yet, it seems we never really accomplish that much good. And we are always turning our lights out for bed as fast as we get up out of bed that morning it seems. Time flies when we fly. But I have noticed that time is also very still, when we are still. The days last longer, when we take the time to enjoy the little things in life. When we take the time to enjoy that glass of orange juice for breakfast. When we take the time to read those bible verses BEFORE breakfast. Ahh… Now we are getting somewhere…

 

Feed The Soul AND The Body:

 

The bible tells us that:

 

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  – Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

 

I remember my Pastor and Spiritual Grandpa (Now with the Lord – Brother Thurman Ward)  every morning he would get up and before breakfast was even thought of he would have his bible out on the table and would be reading some sort of passage. When we would visit them early in the mornings he would invite us to join them and he would give a full bible teaching before breakfast. He loved the word, he lived in the word and the Word lived IN him. Long gone are the days of the men of ole’. They have passed on and the generation left in this world have big shoes to fill. And for many us, myself included am convicted of this too. We are not at all the warriors for Christ we were made to be. That we SHOULD be. We are to be ‘Soldiers‘ in the LORD’s Army!

We are to walk in the fullness of God, to be a light in the darkness. But too many times, we let time get away from us. We choose to use our time in other activities, perhaps we can’t pry ourselves from our binge session of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” or BBCA’s “Doctor Who” or maybe that new Marvel movie? I have been guilty of this as I’m sure we all have. So many will shout and cheer and erupt in emotion at the Super Bowl or Friday night football, but when they are in the presence of the Almighty God, when they come into his house, wherever that may be. They show no emotion.

We sometimes act as if God has done ‘NOTHING’ for us. I have been guilty of this as well. Not studying in his word like I should, not praising him like he should be praised when he is MORE than deserving of praise, he is worthy of all praise. But we lose track of time. There are no more episodes left to binge of ‘Supernatural’ or ‘The Flash’ or ‘Breaking Bad’. And we find ourselves tired, worn out. When all we’ve done is stare at a screen for hours. ‘Losing time’ so to speak. How dare we. How dare we say we are too tired to give him praise.
 

HOW DARE WE:

 

He is the Messiah, he is the Son of God, he is our SAVIOR! He is our LORD, Our Redeemer! He died on the cross for our sins, he suffered the ultimate sacrifice. He paid a debt we could not pay, we could never pay in a million years. We are so unworthy, we are so filthy. We are so pitiful, such vile and wicked evil people that we are. To sit and watch hours and hours of TV, movies, reading books, whatever it is that we are doing. Losing track of time. And complaining about how much time we’ve lost. God have mercy on us, forgive us of our sins and trespasses against you O’Lord, we are not worthy. We are like filthy rags compared to you, we are gone out into darkness, we are no good. Lord fill us with a fire in our souls, let those Holy Ghost flames roar within us. Pour your spirit out on us and cleanse us of our sins and pour out upon your Church a passion for your truth.

Let our hearts be humbled and our eyes be opened. O’Lord let us walk in your way, hold up our goings in your way that our footsteps slip not. Time is of the essence. The day of salvation is now, we know this.

 

Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O’Lord my Strength and my Redeemer. – Psalms 19:14 (KJV)

 

In Conclusion:

 

I know that time can get away from us all, I know that it can be hard sometimes to keep a daily bible schedule. But we must feed our Spirit to sustain our bodies. In word, and in prayer. The bible tells us – JESUS tells us:

 

Watch ye and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 (KJV)

 

It is so easy to fall, to stumble and trespass against our Lord. It can be so easy to neglect him and his word. In this day and age it can be far too easy. But to keep going in this life, to keep walking in his truth, to be able to fight this good fight. In these days especially. We must bury ourselves deep in his word. We must put on the whole armor of God. The bible teaches us that the enemy will come, he will tempt us. He will tell us we are not saved, he will tell us we can’t make it. He will tell us that it’s not worth it, we are not worth it. That Jesus does not love us, that he has forsaken us and that we might as well just give up and die. But the bible tells us when we are tempted, we must remember these three important things:

 

  1.  Call upon the name of the Lord.
  2. Speak the word Of God
  3. At the name of Jesus – The devil must flee.

 

HALLELUJAH!

 

He is most certainly worthy of all praise. Be not dismayed brethren. For the Lord our God is with us and he is looking out for us and he will deliver us from our enemies.

May he bless you and keep you, may he make his face shine upon you, may he be gracious unto you, may he lift up his countenance to up and may he give you…

Dry Tears

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening. Whatever time it is wherever you are and whoever you are, I would just like to say to you on this special day… Welcome, welcome to today! Welcome to tomorrow and welcome to the rest of your lives. Last week I mentioned three main blog post topics that I would be releasing soon and this is the first of those three. I hope that it blesses you in some way today.

Cold and bitter was the darkness, where you find yourself all alone and weak trying ever so carefully to quietly weep. It seems as though you have shed your last tear. OH – but what have we here my dear. It seems you’ve shed another tear and another one is drawing near as it sears another one falls, just when you thought you’ve shed them all. You soon find out the teardrops will never end, the pain may never mend, the good might never win. And the world around you begins to spin and spin about, as your head starts to pound and pound…

Until… Until you cannot shed another tear, until you’ve faced your greatest fears. Until you’ve lost track of all the years. And all you have left, is the empty and cold dry seared tears. Life can be an unfortunate event, it can have many unexpected twists and turns from time to time. Unwanted events such as – Trials and Tragedies, Turmoils and Miseries. It’s all a mystery! That is the cycle of life, for a short moment there is pain and then… There is death. But oh! Why? Why must we, such simple-made beings be forced to reckon with such a devastating and treacherous life? What did we do to deserve such despair and emptiness? Are we not worth more than this? Do we not deserve better than pain and death? Have we not paid our dues? Done our good deeds? What is it worth to me to pay my tithes and go to church every Sunday if it’s just going to leave me with the same outcome of pain and death? To what extent will you see my pain?

To What Extent?:

Why should we? Why should we do any good at all if it’s only going to be returned for pain and death? Is that not what life is all about? Karma? Is Karma real? Karma isn’t real. It’s a sham, it’s a fraud. It’s something we tell ourselves to make each other feel better about life, something to help us cope with the pain and death that is to come. Because whether we like it or not that’s what we’ve all got coming to us, pain and death. In some way shape or form. Even Jesus Christ had to face it. So why should we, such lesser beings escape the wrath and fury of life any more than he did? Why? We are not worthy of saving. We do not deserve salvation. We deserve pain and death. We act on one another with immense violence and hatred every single day.

We murder our own by the millions on a daily basis. On the streets of our greatest cities, in gas stations, grocery stores, abortion clinics and across the nation we commit the most unimaginable, unthinkable crimes that could ever be committed. We sit here in our own despair weeping and crying our last dry tear while we try and think up some excuse as to why none of us are deserving of pain and death. And all we can come up with is more dry tears. Because in our hearts, we know. We know above any other living thing in this world, WE are the most deserving of pain and death. If anyone deserves to be wiped off the face of the earth, it is us. We devour each other, spit each other out, devour each other again and then spit that out and feed it to the dogs and then what they don’t want they give to the scavengers of the air. We are pitiful. There is so much hatred, so much pain. So much devastation. So much greed, so much idolatry, so much self absorption to the point that we devalue the lives of others around us. So much to the point where we would look over a passed out man in the middle of a doorway and walk over him rather then helping him back to good health. No, we do not deserve to be spared. Our children hunger, our veterans go without medical care.

The elderly are abused, women are raped and Churches are used as party houses. Mothers abandoning their families, Daddies walking away. What makes this okay? Nothing does. Nothing.

In Conclusion:

We are all worthy of hell-fire and damnation. Eternal damnation. The point is, no matter what we do, no matter how much good we try and do to make up for all the bad. In reality, we could never make amends for all the evil we’ve brought about in this world. It is if we are lost in the darkness forever, unreachable, unable to be saved. But somehow, among it all. Jesus looks down with grace upon us, giving us a final chance. A chance for redemption. A chance for purification and reconciliation with him and with one another. An opportunity to find healing and peace. Because there is more to life than pain and death. There is Joy and Love. There is laughter, there is caring for one another and sharing with one another. There is helping on another and loving one another. Feeding the hungry, clothing the naked, tending to the sick and helping those in need. While we are capable of great devastation, we are also just as capable if not even more capable of great compassion. Choose love, choose joy, choose life. Choose the right thing, because it’s all we’ve got left. And one day, the dry tears will be done away with. No more tears, no more pain, no more death. Only Joy, Peace, and Happiness.

However, do not be fooled. Until that day, life as a Christian does not mean pure bliss.

Feelings of pain and heartache are natural, crying out in the darkness of the night until your eyes are full of dry tears is absolutely normal. Just because you come to Christ does not mean you are free from hardships and tragedy. In fact, when you come to Christ is when your hardships and tragedy will truly begin. Because scripture states that we shall be hated among all men for HIS names sake. When we proclaim the name of Jesus we will be mocked, we will be ridiculed, we will be hated. People will not take us seriously, they will laugh at us. But know this. He is with you, he will not forsake you. And when you think you are alone crying those dry tears, you are not. He is right there, holding you in his arms and he will see you through.

He’s the great God Jehovah and he’s looking over from over your shoulder, he can see the end and you will win. He is our provider a strong mighty tower. Much more then our maker. He IS our DEFENSE.

Conflicted – The Holidays

Blessings and SHALOM in Jesus alone, today I would like to write about some things that have been on my mind for the past few months now, I just needed to find a way to express myself fully. So without further ado…


The Holidays have been and are always a bit of a conflicting and complicated time for me personally, due to my family’s situation with things in the past with my mom and what not: I am constantly torn up inside about it. It eats away at me more than I let on and some days are harder than others. I fight away the anger each day, fighting to stay sane because sometimes the situation gets me incredibly upset. I’m sure there are some who might be able to relate. But with Gods help I am able to move past it and I choose every day to be BETTER and NOT bitter. And some days it is just really hard. But I move past that, I keep pushing forward.

Because greater is he that is in me than he that is in the world. I have had many friends tell me after really getting to know me, that they can’t believe I am as nice and caring of a person as I am considering all I’ve been through in my short life, they tell me they’ve known people that have gone off the deep end. People that go out and do drugs and get drunk and steal and get arrested and just hate the world. So it’s always amazing to them that I’m the way I am, but I tell them. I battle with the anger sometimes, I’m sure we all do. But I choose to be good, I choose to do good, but most importantly…

Choose To SEE Good:

I choose to SEE good, in this world. Even though it feels like it’s not there. Because life can be so dark and so cold and so painful and full of such despair and hate and anger and bitterness and death and sadness and heartache and tears and destitution and desolation. But I choose to look beyond what I see and I choose to see the good first. I choose it so much so that it happens for me automatically, I am almost to the point where I don’t even have to try anymore. I just look at something and see the good in it. Even if it’s just a speck. But it wasn’t always that easy. And there isn’t always good. I have been hurt and abandoned and ridiculed and mocked and hated by “friends” “family” for what I believe, for what I have stood for. Because I believe in a just and holy God. I’ve been harshly ridiculed, things I don’t even talk about.

All because I said I believed in God’s truth. Things that would make some people want to just lock themselves away and never talk to anyone ever again. But I overcome those things, I refuse to live that way. I refuse to live in pain, I refuse to live in darkness and despair. I refuse to live in fear, I refuse to live hidden from the world because I am called to be a light and what good is a light hidden under a bush? What good is a light that has been blown out by the evilness of this world from the devil himself? What good can that light do?

I could very easily never talk to anyone ever again, I could very easily choose to see only pain and hate and dark, cold, bitter despair in this world. I could choose to believe that there are only fake backstabbing lying scumbags in this world. I could choose to believe that. But what kind of a Christian would that make me? The whole purpose of my faith is to be like Christ? Where would we be if Christ chose to believe like that? If he chose to believe that none of us were capable of change and we should all just die?

We would all be dead, in hell. Many of us might not ever have even existed. But no, Jesus chose to look beyond that and in spite of our wickedness, in spite of our sins in spite of our iniquities he chose love. He chose the greatest form of love there can ever be, he chose to die for us so that we might be saved from hell. Imagine if he’d stayed hidden from the world, imagine if he chose to let darkness win. Imagine. I don’t want to imagine. Do you? No, it’s too easy to live that way. I refuse to, I have told myself this every since I was very young and I will forever stick to this belief.  People will fail you, they will. They will hurt you, they will. That’s life. They will ridicule you, they will mock you and they will try and destroy you.

There will always be that type of evil in this world. But in locking ourselves away, we let that evil win. It doesn’t matter what other people do, what truly matters is what WE do as true servants of Christ.

There may be heartache and pain and anger and sickness and sadness and death and tears and hunger and poverty and war and hatred and bitterness and despair. That is this life in which we live. But I believe that good will always conquer evil. Because In life there is also, love, joy and laughter and peace and friends and family and kindness and caring and sharing and giving and helping others. There are so many great people, beautiful wonderful people in this world that have beautiful wonderful souls and they are loved by God they are special to God so special that he gave his son to die for them on the cross. For all of us.

So how can we not have love for people? How can we not have compassion and how can we not care? Hundreds of thousands of people die every day and only God knows where their soul stands, how can that not bother us? How could that not make us want to be as bright a light as we can. How on earth can that not make us want to go out into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature? Because that’s exactly what Jesus commanded of us, many times throughout the scripture he tells us to be a light that we are a light and that we are to be his workmanship. Witnessing and most importantly, being a witness for him.

And that is what I will always do, I’m a people person. I have always had such a deep compassion for people, and a love for life. It’s a Christ like compassion I suppose. Because life is beautiful. How could it not be?

We rejoice because God made it and God is in it and therefore it is good. I refuse to believe there is ever bad days. Only bad things that can happen in those days.

Because a day that God allows us to wake up and have breath is a great day indeed.

200 Blog Posts Later…

If you haven’t guessed it by the title yet, or the big picture below with bold letters stating it, then you need glasses or something. Because today is my 200th blog post! Greetings, fellas, fellows, ladies, girls, gals, gentlemen, hobbitses and dwarves. I don’t know half of you as well as I should like and I like less then half of you half as well as you deserve. (Sorry, I could not resist the urge)

Today’ I would like to begin to talk with you about love, joy, peace, hope and life. And how one might go about obtaining these things. Win the lottery perhaps? Find a nice place to settle down with your soulmate perhaps? Install a new and improved high tech security system? Buy into the stock market to put in for your future? While all these things are perfectly acceptable actions, none of them will ever help you obtain ‘true’ love, joy, peace, hope and life. In fact, some of these things may even cause you stress, pain, heartache and cause you to grow jealous and envious and greedy of what others might have.

But for now, let us start with my basis of this entire post. This is a big number, it means that I have published 200 blog posts to this site, most of them mine and some of them guest posts, either way I have come quite a long ways since I first started blogging. It is not always easy to write and there are many occasions I feel as if I’m just writing to the wind, (most likely because most the time I am) I do not get many views, however I am fine with that.

My goal has never been about popularity, It’s always been to share a moral message with others and if I can reach one person, out of everyone in the entire world, then to me it is worth it all, because I’m not doing this for anyone else, I’m doing what I love and I’ll continue to do this, as long as I am given the opportunity to do so. Finally, let us start with the first and most important attribute of all.

LOVE:

What is ‘true’ love? What is love? It’s something that many of us wonder about and something that is still unanswered in many ways. It’s unlike anything we can explain. I don’t believe that it is something  anyone can properly explain. Words can be written, beautiful words can be written, words that make the heart warm and happy. Words that can be said to one another in the little dark moments  of ones greatest tragedies, words of passion. But then there are actions, big, little, in between. Buying a loved one that special something they’ve wanted all their life. Making a scrapbook of all the good times, or just taking that call in the late hour when a friend is in need. Love is a wonderful thing, but just how much of a wonderful thing?

I believe that the greatest example,  an amazing demonstration and the most beautiful act of love that was ever made, was made by the most high. Jesus Christ, he loved the world so much that he died in agonizing pain on a cross for our sins, I’ve said it before and I will say it again. My dear friends, THAT is LOVE. Only in Christ can one find TRUE love, within themselves.

Moving on to attribute number two.

JOY:

The scripture often speaks of ‘Joy’ unspeakable. Can you imagine, being so joyful that you could not even utter a single word of it? It is most definitely achievable, not in any way is it impossible, and as matter of fact. You can achieve it  today. Whether you are a believer or a non-believer, you found this blog post somehow. You are most likely searching for something, whether that is love, ‘joy’, peace – hope or a better life. You were led here. Do not worry, I bring good news. The good news of the gospel actually.

Of course one can find joy in many things, but to find ‘true’ joy, you have to first learn to enjoy the smaller things in life. Like the way the wind blows through the leaves on the trees in the middle of a hot summers day. Nothing is more refreshing at that time is it? (Other then a tall glass of ice cold homemade fresh squeezed lemonade) Wouldn’t you like your life to be like that? Well, you may ridicule me all you want. But I only speak the truth.

Jesus can give you that, he can come into your life like a cool breeze or a refreshing glass of real old fashioned lemonade and he can refresh you. He can fill your heart with Joy unspeakable. But how is he to do this you might ask? The answer is very simple and you are only a few words away from true love and true joy in your life. I will not ask you to repeat after me, but if you are serious about having Jesus Christ come into your life and having him refresh you and give you true love and joy in your heart. Then the very first step, is believing that he can, accepting that he can and asking him to do so, ask him to come into your life.

In Conclusion:

While there are many ways to find love, often it may not be true, and love that is fake is not love at all it is just an empty black hole that you are trying to fill an even much bigger empty black hole with and you will feel even more empty. You can find true love in a soulmate, you can find true love in friends and family. But it will not be as true a love as you will find in Christ, because there will be times when your soulmate cannot understand how you feel, your friends or your family even, but Christ will be able to.

Joy cannot be found in riches, materialistic possessions, not TRUE joy anyways, true joy can only be found in Christ. Because the fact is, you can have all the riches and all the worldly possessions there is. And still be the saddest person alive, too many celebrities have taught us this valuable lesson.

The scripture of the Gospel says there is ONE way and if you accept others false gods as true then you’re denying Jesus Christ. And JESUS said if you deny him before men he’s gonna deny you before the father and that means you’ll be going to hell. None of us want that do you? I don’t, I want to see people saved.

10155889_869454043080112_594550145_n That’s just what the bible said, people its time to quit playing church and time to get straight with God and go out to warn others to get straight with God because those who don’t WILL go to hell the bible is clear.

Scripture Verses:

Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? And in thy name done many wonderful works? And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity. – (Matthew 7:21-23 KJV)

Know ye not that the unrighteous shall not inherit the kingdom of God?

Be not deceived: neither fornicators, nor idolaters, nor adulterers, nor effeminate, nor abusers of themselves with mankind,

Nor thieves, nor covetous, nor drunkards, nor revilers, nor extortioners, shall inherit the kingdom of God. – 1 Corinthians 6:9-10 K.J.V.

(However notice that after those verses it says (As SUCH WERE some of YOU)

People it’s time to quit playing church, all this LOVE, LOVE, LOVE God is LOVE.

Don’t judge, you CAN’T judge, scripture says NOT to judge all that stuff is a CROCK and a sheer demonic corruption of the FULL council of God. And anybody that preaches that is in danger, and anybody that falls for that kind of false teaching needs to open their eyes because I’m sick of seeing so many people fall down that road. There’s only ONE way, it’s not all prosperity either, it’s not all positive either, if you really read the bible Christ don’t say the things that are gonna happen to us for standing up for his name will be good and great.

(IN THIS WORLD THAT IS)

He says we’ll be hated, persecuted, imprisoned. JUST as those before us! And friends we are NOT better than them. To live is Christ, to die is gain. If you DON’T go out there and preach the full council of God, if you don’t tell people they’re going to hell if they don’t get right with God then you yourself will be in great danger. People this isn’t a game. We may not have the final judgement but we know that the bible says that no unclean person will enter into heaven.

If you don’t warn them people and tell them they need to get right with God then you’re fooling yourself. If you truly love people you’ll tell them what the bible says. The bible doesn’t say that you can run around in sin and be saved from hell. The bible says you die of your sins and become a NEW person in Christ and you sin NO MORE.

The Scripture Says:

And if thy right eye offend thee, pluck it out, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell.

And if thy right hand offend thee, cut it off, and cast it from thee: for it is profitable for thee that one of thy members should perish, and not that thy whole body should be cast into hell. – (Matthew 5:29, 30 KJV)

If you don’t cut off that sin your whole body will be cast into hell. But the good news of the Gospel isn’t to kill, it’s to bring life. But it cannot bring life if not backed up by speaking of the death that the law will bring by our breaking it. Because we are ALL worthy of hell fire and eternal damnation. Hell is real, quit acting like it isn’t. You judge righteous judgment. You tell people as the scripture says:

As JESUS did:

Repent: for the kingdom of heaven is at hand. – (Matthew 4:17 KJV)

REPENT! People need to REPENT or they WILL be cast into hell! Quit acting like they won’t! If you LOVE them you’ll tell them.

QUIT lying! Quit preaching a false doctrine of prosperity, love, happiness, no hell, no sin, don’t judge. Because that’s not in the bible. Not for Christians that serve God with all their might and stand for TRUTH especially in these days.

I Conclude:

Telling you this in LOVE my friends.

You’re on your way to hell if you don’t REPENT and TURN from your wicked ways and accept Jesus Christ as your Savior. And that is the cold hard truth, however. With Christ, there is still hope, there is always hope. As long as you are willing to accept him and turn on the evil ways that we have all committed in our lives, because we don’t have to be slave to those sins anymore. Jesus sets us free of all our burdens, he doesn’t imprison us like so many may think.

Standards..

Today I would like to just jump right into the very core of this post and that is the diminishing of our over all standards as a society, as people, but most importantly, as THE Church of Jesus Christ, we are starting to fall.

As the above photo states, what you can see is the sheer destruction of what once was a strong piece of material, the canvas is very strong, however if we allow it to be compromised in any way then we will soon find that it’s strength will quickly be meaningless, as it will crumble and cause it to be easily ripped apart by anyone and everyone that seeks to do it harm. However, if we keep it from being compromised, then there is nothing in this world that could ever get is to be torn apart, we must keep it guarded from the dangers that is of this world, or else our beloved canvas will be taken away from us.

We as Christians need to guard ourselves from the evil of this world, we need to be so strong in our faith before we even attempt to go out into the darkest parts of this earth, because if we aren’t fully prepared to enter the combat zone then we will be one of the first to be taken down, if our canvas isn’t heavily guarded by the word of God and we are subject to one little snip while out in combat then perhaps all of our ethics and values could be compromised as well, the problem with the Christian church today isn’t that they are not allowing enough God in (though that is a huge problem) the main problem is the fact that the church has started allowing too much of satan in.

It is true that the church is a place for sinners to come, but they are to come to be healed and they are to come to church to be transformed, if there never is any transformation at all then something is wrong and I’m not saying that we become perfect over night because we will never be perfect in such an imperfect world there is only one worthy of the title ‘perfect’ and that is our Lord Christ, but what I am saying however is that without some type of change then perhaps something is wrong.

In Comes The Enemy:

The scripture tells us that the enemy will come in rushing like a flood, but that the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard, now the problem is that we can very well see the enemy rushing in, like the song says, we see the enemy coming at our families, our churches, our communities, our relationships and our nations, however, what we don’t see is the standard, people are failing to stand up with a great strength of holiness for God and they are failing to live a life of action, many can ‘talk’ the ‘talk’ but there are very few in this church that can actually ‘walk’ the ‘walk’ while some believe that talking is the only thing we need to do others believe that walking is the only thing necessary.

But I believe that there is an equal balance in scripture, and I believe that we should be so bold in our faith that when we talk it we don’t have to be second guessed as to if we are really walking it, we need to have a great love for his truth so strong that when we come across the lost of this world and we say to them on the street “hey, Jesus loves you” they feel such a powerful presence of love and witness of God from our life to the point where they don’t even have to think twice as to whether or not we actually meant it, what we are really needing more in this world, the Church world, is a standard of truth, love and boldness, that is what we really need.

In Conclusion:

I hope that you have all learned to be very careful in the paths you choose to go down, because while we are all free to choose whatever path it is that we want to take, there is a great danger ahead of us no matter where it is that we may go, because the enemy is always trying to look for ways to take us away from God because he is angry that  he took us from him, he is angry that we are no longer under his illusion of deception, he is angry that he no longer controls our lives, and he will stop at nothing to get us back.

So stand strong in your faith, raise your standard high according to the word of God, live your life according to his purposes, so that when every time the enemy does come rushing in like a flood God raises up the very standard that you live by and it knocks the enemy so far back it takes two weeks for such demonic power to come back at you again, don’t let your faith be compromised, don’t allow people to trick you into to selling your soul out to satan no matter what, and last but not least, continue on in fighting the good fight of faith because believe me my friends IT IS worth it, it’s worth it.

I Can Respect Honesty

I was sitting at my desk trying to think of something to write when out of nowhere the title above comes to my mind so now I’m thinking all there is to do now is write the post about being able to respect honesty, because you see, even if you do not agree with someone whether it be politically or religiously can’t we at least respect each other for actually standing firm in our beliefs?

Why-your-email-subject-lineYou see, I myself personally have no problem with people that believe differently then me, it doesn’t bother me at all like it may others out there and the reason for that is because I can respect people that at least believe what it is that they say they believe, today we see there is so many people out there that do not practice what they preach. Whether they be Republicans, Democrats, Christians, Atheists, whatever it is that they choose to call themselves and however it is that they might believe, there are hypocrites in all areas of life and lately it seems that liberals can be the biggest hypocrites of them all, but that is for another topic all together, the reason for this however is because you often hear the words.

Equality, Justice, Diversity, Tolerance, Acceptance and blah, blah, blah. Liberals can talk a pretty good talk but they can’t really walk what they preach without tripping over their untied shoelaces, OK, OK. The jokes about liberals are over now, moving on to my next point, you see my friends, I actually believe in this thing called ‘equality’ I believe in ‘diversity’ I even believe in tolerance and acceptance with a few key significant details. I won’t accept the sin that is ‘Homosexuality’ just as I won’t accept any other sin, I won’t tolerate intolerance to my strong held religious beliefs and I will not stop or apologize for what I believe because this is what you get, you can change the law and change the rules, you can even rewrite the constitution, but you won’t change or break this American Spirit.

Just Be Real –

There are many people that I don’t always agree with and that is just fine, but just because you don’t agree with someone does not mean that you can’t be their friend, so many times people let themselves believe that they can’t be friends with someone if they don’t have their same set of views. You might have some Hollywood Liberal Democrat like Ben Affleck saying that he would never watch a movie with an Republican Actor in it because he doesn’t think that, that person would be friends with him, which by the way, I think that is completely and ridiculously absurd in it’s entirety. That is the problem, the problem is that people will either keep their beliefs and opinions to themselves to try and maintain some type of friendship or they will not associate at all with anyone that doesn’t believe exactly like them, and I find it hard to believe that in a day and age as this segregation is still happening in our country and it’s pathetic.

You know what I want to see? I don’t care if someone agrees, disagrees or whatever, I want to see people accept Jesus Christ as the one true God of their life, YES. But I can’t make them, and if they don’t that’s fine, because all we can do as Christians is present the Gospel and pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth, what I want most of all though is to see people being more honest with each other in all manner of ways, the good, the bad and the ugly. All of it, I want to see people tell each other what they actually think and not have any problem with discussing differences with each other, I want people to communicate instead of just brushing each other off or trying to shut each other down, I want people to just be real with one another.

Stop putting on this act and be real, practice what you say that you believe and mean what you say, don’t tell me one thing and then turn around and do something completely different and I’ll try to be the same, we are all human and we are all faulty in our ways and we are all capable of making mistakes, but we must try harder to be better.

In Conclusion:

Respect most certainly has to be earned, and you don’t even have to respect a person or everything about a person to just respect their true and genuine honesty with you, we know that honesty is something to be desired in today’s world whether you are a Christian or not if you look back in time you will see that even people that didn’t go to church were much more honest and trustworthy then they are today – and I can’t help but wonder why that is? Is it because we as a Christian people failed to be a better example in someway, or is it because we allowed ourselves to grow weak in what we preach? I believe it’s all of it and much more and I’ve said this many times in the past and it isn’t too popular of a statement but nevertheless it is what I genuinely believe and I pray that you will agree with me because if you do then that means there is hope for change.

I believe that the church is to blame for whatever problems going on in our country today, I believe that they allowed sin to come into the very house of God and it contaminated it and crippled the people that once stood strong and bold on his word, you see there is nothing at all wrong with sinners coming in the house of God, but you can’t allow yourselves to be caught with your guard down and I believe that is  what the church has done over the years, little by little they have continually let their guard down until there really isn’t one held up at all anymore. Sinners would walk into the house of God and they wouldn’t be convicted by the people’s judgmental looks, rather they would be convicted of the power of the Holy Ghost, and this is what we need to get back to my dear brothers and sisters.

Building A Kingdom

Today so many times Pastors can be easily swept up into this idea of building an earthly kingdom. When in reality, we are supposed to be building a heavenly kingdom, for GOD. A spiritual kingdom, where people’s spirits are raised up. Rather then their comfort levels of themselves and the church they are attending, because true peace comes from full truth of the word of God.

Awhile back I did an audio drama story about how important it is that we stop focusing on structural buildings, money and all of these ‘man-made’ doctrines. And just start looking on the truth of his word, start preaching and sharing that truth with others so that they will be saved. Instead of trying to get them to give you their tithes so you can go out and buy a new jet or new building expansions, here’s a crazy idea. How about telling them to get right with God? How about preparing them for what is to come ‘spiritually’? Why not try to help strengthen them for bad times that may come in their walk with Christ? Instead of lying to them and telling them that God won’t allow any pain or harm to come upon them just because they’ve been ‘born again.’

We all know that is a false doctrine. We all know that the very minute we walk into will that God has had planned for us since the start of all time, everything will turn completely chaotic. All hell will break loose. Out of nowhere it will seem as if the sky has came crashing down on top of you, unmercifully. Does this mean that God doesn’t love you? No. It means that he loves you enough to walk along the roadside WITH you as you endure this pain. He LOVES you, and because he loves you. He doesn’t want you to be fooled into feeling or believing as if living for him will be a walk through the roses. As matter of fact. He actually tells you in scripture to count the cost to see if you really want to take the risk of living for him.

It Takes Everything –

I have quoted this line from the Rev. Billy Graham many times. Because it’s true. While salvation most definitely free, we also have to take into consideration. That discipleship will cost us EVERYTHING. How can this be? Look at all the disciples in the bible that walked with Jesus, look at where they all ended up. Dead. In some way shape or form, they were brutally crucified for walking the faith of our Lord and Savior. They were martyred for simply preaching and teaching in ‘The NAME” of Jesus Christ. And we see the same thing in today’s time happening all around us. Everywhere you look, people are losing their lives for claiming to be in Christ, every minute you turn around. People are dying, while building the kingdom of God.

They aren’t living in mansions bigger than a super mall while doing this. They aren’t preaching fluff and puff, they aren’t getting all the riches of the world. They might not even have much money at all. Like you and like me, (the average Christian) they are but travelers through this world of woe. Strangers you could say. Knowing that by grace we are saved and by faith we can endure all things with God whom are all things possible. We know that the road to building a kingdom isn’t as grand as many TV Preachers make it out to be today, but we also know that there is a great reward for us in heaven. Aha! There is is! There must be some kind of prize for having to endure such a hard life on this earth, right?

In Conclusion:

Yes! And what is it? Is it cars? Money? Million dollar mansions? The best paying job that there is? Fame? Popularity? How about a lot of friends? No. So what could it possible be? Oh wait! I KNOW! How about we ask Jesus what our prize is? OK, I’ll ask him.

Scripture Verse:

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
 – Matthew 5:12 KJV

There we are! Greater is our reward where? Did Jesus say, Earth? NO. He said, HEAVEN! So does this mean that we cannot have an ounce of peace on this earth? Absolutely not. What this means is, our main goal in building a kingdom should not be receiving a whole lot of money, or having all the possessions of the world. Fame, popularity, no. Our goal should be to see people saved, to see people come to the alter and become truly reborn. Baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost, bursting with his joy. Exceeding in his holiness.

I’m Not Perfect

We must all come to the realization that we aren’t the best that we can or even should be. There are small little imperfections about us that we cannot fix and other things that could do with some improvement. However, no matter what we must learn that we are not the most perfect human beings that have ever walked the face of the earth, we may be smart and know a lot, but we still have much left to learn.

While some people sit on their high horse and look down upon on others as if they are mere lowly peasants not worth anyone’s time of day. They have a story, they have a heart, they have mind and a soul and they have emotion. Humans is what they are, humans like you and me, they aren’t perfect, some may not be so great with Math, while others may not be so good at grammar. Or perhaps they cannot even write or read at all, is that any cause to make fun of them, is that any reason? I think not. You see, we often forget that we ourselves at one point did not know the things we knew, maybe we were completely ignorant to everything we know now. But maybe, just maybe, someone took the time to share their expertise with us. Instead of shaming us into thinking we are nothing, instead of making cruel jokes and saying bad things about us without actually saying them.

Perhaps instead of saying those cruel comments out loud at all? I guess there will always be those who try and make us feel lowly of ourselves. I suppose that there will always be critiques. But we don’t have to allow those criticisms to get us down, as matter of fact, we don’t even have to let it be criticism at all. We can flip flop something around that was meant to be bad, and we can make it into a beautiful like transformation. Let’s not allow others to break us, let’s let them help to make us. That’s what I always say, lets rise high above our normal comfort zone. And let’s all try to be a little better than we normally are, let us not allow our imperfection’s to weaken us or prohibit us from achieving our dreams and for sure let’s not allow cruel comments to crush our self-esteem. Because we know in our hearts who we are, and we know that we do the best we can.

Do Your BEST – Leave the REST

Sometimes all you can do is the best that you can do, “Do your best and leave the rest, and hope to pass the test.” That’s another little quote that I always say, something I combined from the old ‘Black Beauty’ movie and my own thoughts during the time that my Mother had left back in 2011. It’s still something that I tell myself to this very day, because all you can ever do is the best that you can do and if you still end up getting burned in the process, then at least you tried. That’s bound to count for something isn’t it? Well, who knows it does, right? Maybe we are all just really that bad at being decent humans, or maybe others are really that bad at being good friends in this life. Or what if it’s a little of both? I think it is, even when we give it our absolute best, we will still make mistakes both big and small and that’s just a fact of life.

No matter how good we get at something, there is always going to be someone better than us at it, and that is perfectly fine because it is only another small fact of life. That should only make us want to try harder at what we do, so we can keep improving in our work or passion, and maybe we could even learn from those better than us. I mean after all, they didn’t get to be so good by being jealous of someone’s talent did they? They couldn’t have, they stepped up to the plate and became better instead of bitter and now we are back to that. That is the key no matter where we go, whether it come to getting cut off in traffic or finding out that someone may be better at something than you are, the key is to be better instead of bitter.

In Conclusion:

As Christian’s we know that we aren’t perfect, we are only human, but we also know that being human is no excuse to sin willfully and we also know that because we are mere humans with many weaknesses (imperfect in many ways) we are forgiven by God of all the things that we have ever done or may do ‘unknowingly’ in the future. Because that is just how loving and amazing Jesus Christ is, he is holy and he is just, he loves with such an amazing love and he judges with a mighty hand of glory and of power because he is full of righteousness beyond our imagination.

Remember this the next time you see someone sitting on their high horse judging others for every little imperfection, or remember this the next time YOU, yourself start to do the same to others. The murder deserves punishment, the thief deserves just punishment as does the drunkard and the alcoholic and the adulterer and the fornicator and the bully. And you get the picture I’m sure, we all have a big something or a little something that deems us worthy of hell. We have ALL sinned and fallen short of the glory of God and though it can be easy at times to become quickly angered at others hypocrisy and though they are justly deserving of unmerciful punishment – we can’t forget. SO ARE WE. While sins are different in a legal sense, they are the same in an eternal sense, meaning that if we are to continue in our sins willfully then… The punishment is death and separation from God. For.. Eternity. And because we all have had our fair share of sins, this makes us JUST as deserving of unmerciful punishment as it does anyone else who has.
