200 Blog Posts Later…

Mar
12

If you haven’t guessed it by the title yet, or the big picture below with bold letters stating it, then you need glasses or something. Because today is my 200th blog post! Greetings, fellas, fellows, ladies, girls, gals, gentlemen, hobbitses and dwarves. I don’t know half of you as well as I should like and I like less then half of you half as well as you deserve. (Sorry, I could not resist the urge)

Today’ I would like to begin to talk with you about love, joy, peace, hope and life. And how one might go about obtaining these things. Win the lottery perhaps? Find a nice place to settle down with your soulmate perhaps? Install a new and improved high tech security system? Buy into the stock market to put in for your future? While all these things are perfectly acceptable actions, none of them will ever help you obtain ‘true’ love, joy, peace, hope and life. In fact, some of these things may even cause you stress, pain, heartache and cause you to grow jealous and envious and greedy of what others might have.

But for now, let us start with my basis of this entire post. This is a big number, it means that I have published 200 blog posts to this site, most of them mine and some of them guest posts, either way I have come quite a long ways since I first started blogging. It is not always easy to write and there are many occasions I feel as if I’m just writing to the wind, (most likely because most the time I am) I do not get many views, however I am fine with that.

My goal has never been about popularity, It’s always been to share a moral message with others and if I can reach one person, out of everyone in the entire world, then to me it is worth it all, because I’m not doing this for anyone else, I’m doing what I love and I’ll continue to do this, as long as I am given the opportunity to do so. Finally, let us start with the first and most important attribute of all.

LOVE:

What is ‘true’ love? What is love? It’s something that many of us wonder about and something that is still unanswered in many ways. It’s unlike anything we can explain. I don’t believe that it is something  anyone can properly explain. Words can be written, beautiful words can be written, words that make the heart warm and happy. Words that can be said to one another in the little dark moments  of ones greatest tragedies, words of passion. But then there are actions, big, little, in between. Buying a loved one that special something they’ve wanted all their life. Making a scrapbook of all the good times, or just taking that call in the late hour when a friend is in need. Love is a wonderful thing, but just how much of a wonderful thing?

I believe that the greatest example,  an amazing demonstration and the most beautiful act of love that was ever made, was made by the most high. Jesus Christ, he loved the world so much that he died in agonizing pain on a cross for our sins, I’ve said it before and I will say it again. My dear friends, THAT is LOVE. Only in Christ can one find TRUE love, within themselves.

Moving on to attribute number two.

JOY:

The scripture often speaks of ‘Joy’ unspeakable. Can you imagine, being so joyful that you could not even utter a single word of it? It is most definitely achievable, not in any way is it impossible, and as matter of fact. You can achieve it  today. Whether you are a believer or a non-believer, you found this blog post somehow. You are most likely searching for something, whether that is love, ‘joy’, peace – hope or a better life. You were led here. Do not worry, I bring good news. The good news of the gospel actually.

Of course one can find joy in many things, but to find ‘true’ joy, you have to first learn to enjoy the smaller things in life. Like the way the wind blows through the leaves on the trees in the middle of a hot summers day. Nothing is more refreshing at that time is it? (Other then a tall glass of ice cold homemade fresh squeezed lemonade) Wouldn’t you like your life to be like that? Well, you may ridicule me all you want. But I only speak the truth.

Jesus can give you that, he can come into your life like a cool breeze or a refreshing glass of real old fashioned lemonade and he can refresh you. He can fill your heart with Joy unspeakable. But how is he to do this you might ask? The answer is very simple and you are only a few words away from true love and true joy in your life. I will not ask you to repeat after me, but if you are serious about having Jesus Christ come into your life and having him refresh you and give you true love and joy in your heart. Then the very first step, is believing that he can, accepting that he can and asking him to do so, ask him to come into your life.

In Conclusion:

While there are many ways to find love, often it may not be true, and love that is fake is not love at all it is just an empty black hole that you are trying to fill an even much bigger empty black hole with and you will feel even more empty. You can find true love in a soulmate, you can find true love in friends and family. But it will not be as true a love as you will find in Christ, because there will be times when your soulmate cannot understand how you feel, your friends or your family even, but Christ will be able to.

Joy cannot be found in riches, materialistic possessions, not TRUE joy anyways, true joy can only be found in Christ. Because the fact is, you can have all the riches and all the worldly possessions there is. And still be the saddest person alive, too many celebrities have taught us this valuable lesson.

I will be back next week with my two hundredth and first blog post, to continue discussing the rest of the attributes I listed above, until then however, always remember. “There’s still good in this world Mister Frodo.”

Standards..

Aug
18

Today I would like to just jump right into the very core of this post and that is the diminishing of our over all standards as a society, as people, but most importantly, as THE Church of Jesus Christ, we are starting to fall.

11132136_1117408078284706_1177506354_n

As the above photo states, what you can see is the sheer destruction of what once was a strong piece of material, the canvas is very strong, however if we allow it to be compromised in any way then we will soon find that it’s strength will quickly be meaningless, as it will crumble and cause it to be easily ripped apart by anyone and everyone that seeks to do it harm. However, if we keep it from being compromised, then there is nothing in this world that could ever get is to be torn apart, we must keep it guarded from the dangers that is of this world, or else our beloved canvas will be taken away from us.

We as Christians need to guard ourselves from the evil of this world, we need to be so strong in our faith before we even attempt to go out into the darkest parts of this earth, because if we aren’t fully prepared to enter the combat zone then we will be one of the first to be taken down, if our canvas isn’t heavily guarded by the word of God and we are subject to one little snip while out in combat then perhaps all of our ethics and values could be compromised as well, the problem with the Christian church today isn’t that they are not allowing enough God in (though that is a huge problem) the main problem is the fact that the church has started allowing too much of satan in.

It is true that the church is a place for sinners to come, but they are to come to be healed and they are to come to church to be transformed, if there never is any transformation at all then something is wrong and I’m not saying that we become perfect over night because we will never be perfect in such an imperfect world there is only one worthy of the title ‘perfect’ and that is our Lord Christ, but what I am saying however is that without some type of change then perhaps something is wrong.

In Comes The Enemy:

The scripture tells us that the enemy will come in rushing like a flood, but that the Spirit of the Lord will raise a standard, now the problem is that we can very well see the enemy rushing in, like the song says, we see the enemy coming at our families, our churches, our communities, our relationships and our nations, however, what we don’t see is the standard, people are failing to stand up with a great strength of holiness for God and they are failing to live a life of action, many can ‘talk’ the ‘talk’ but there are very few in this church that can actually ‘walk’ the ‘walk’ while some believe that talking is the only thing we need to do others believe that walking is the only thing necessary.

But I believe that there is an equal balance in scripture, and I believe that we should be so bold in our faith that when we talk it we don’t have to be second guessed as to if we are really walking it, we need to have a great love for his truth so strong that when we come across the lost of this world and we say to them on the street “hey, Jesus loves you” they feel such a powerful presence of love and witness of God from our life to the point where they don’t even have to think twice as to whether or not we actually meant it, what we are really needing more in this world, the Church world, is a standard of truth, love and boldness, that is what we really need.

In Conclusion:

I hope that you have all learned to be very careful in the paths you choose to go down, because while we are all free to choose whatever path it is that we want to take, there is a great danger ahead of us no matter where it is that we may go, because the enemy is always trying to look for ways to take us away from God because he is angry that  he took us from him, he is angry that we are no longer under his illusion of deception, he is angry that he no longer controls our lives, and he will stop at nothing to get us back.

So stand strong in your faith, raise your standard high according to the word of God, live your life according to his purposes, so that when every time the enemy does come rushing in like a flood God raises up the very standard that you live by and it knocks the enemy so far back it takes two weeks for such demonic power to come back at you again, don’t let your faith be compromised, don’t allow people to trick you into to selling your soul out to satan no matter what, and last but not least, continue on in fighting the good fight of faith because believe me my friends IT IS worth it, it’s worth it.

Until next time…

I Can Respect Honesty

Aug
11

I was sitting at my desk trying to think of something to write when out of nowhere the title above comes to my mind so now I’m thinking all there is to do now is write the post about being able to respect honesty, because you see, even if you do not agree with someone whether it be politically or religiously can’t we at least respect each other for actually standing firm in our beliefs?

Why-your-email-subject-lineYou see, I myself personally have no problem with people that believe differently then me, it doesn’t bother me at all like it may others out there and the reason for that is because I can respect people that at least believe what it is that they say they believe, today we see there is so many people out there that do not practice what they preach. Whether they be Republicans, Democrats, Christians, Atheists, whatever it is that they choose to call themselves and however it is that they might believe, there are hypocrites in all areas of life and lately it seems that liberals can be the biggest hypocrites of them all, but that is for another topic all together, the reason for this however is because you often hear the words.

Equality, Justice, Diversity, Tolerance, Acceptance and blah, blah, blah. Liberals can talk a pretty good talk but they can’t really walk what they preach without tripping over their untied shoelaces, OK, OK. The jokes about liberals are over now, moving on to my next point, you see my friends, I actually believe in this thing called ‘equality’ I believe in ‘diversity’ I even believe in tolerance and acceptance with a few key significant details. I won’t accept the sin that is ‘Homosexuality’ just as I won’t accept any other sin, I won’t tolerate intolerance to my strong held religious beliefs and I will not stop or apologize for what I believe because this is what you get, you can change the law and change the rules, you can even rewrite the constitution, but you won’t change or break this American Spirit.

Just Be Real –

There are many people that I don’t always agree with and that is just fine, but just because you don’t agree with someone does not mean that you can’t be their friend, so many times people let themselves believe that they can’t be friends with someone if they don’t have their same set of views. You might have some Hollywood Liberal Democrat like Ben Affleck saying that he would never watch a movie with an Republican Actor in it because he doesn’t think that, that person would be friends with him, which by the way, I think that is completely and ridiculously absurd in it’s entirety. That is the problem, the problem is that people will either keep their beliefs and opinions to themselves to try and maintain some type of friendship or they will not associate at all with anyone that doesn’t believe exactly like them, and I find it hard to believe that in a day and age as this segregation is still happening in our country and it’s pathetic.

You know what I want to see? I don’t care if someone agrees, disagrees or whatever, I want to see people accept Jesus Christ as the one true God of their life, YES. But I can’t make them, and if they don’t that’s fine, because all we can do as Christians is present the Gospel and pray that their eyes will be opened to the truth, what I want most of all though is to see people being more honest with each other in all manner of ways, the good, the bad and the ugly. All of it, I want to see people tell each other what they actually think and not have any problem with discussing differences with each other, I want people to communicate instead of just brushing each other off or trying to shut each other down, I want people to just be real with one another.

Stop putting on this act and be real, practice what you say that you believe and mean what you say, don’t tell me one thing and then turn around and do something completely different and I’ll try to be the same, we are all human and we are all faulty in our ways and we are all capable of making mistakes, but we must try harder to be better.

In Conclusion:

Respect most certainly has to be earned, and you don’t even have to respect a person or everything about a person to just respect their true and genuine honesty with you, we know that honesty is something to be desired in today’s world whether you are a Christian or not if you look back in time you will see that even people that didn’t go to church were much more honest and trustworthy then they are today – and I can’t help but wonder why that is? Is it because we as a Christian people failed to be a better example in someway, or is it because we allowed ourselves to grow weak in what we preach? I believe it’s all of it and much more and I’ve said this many times in the past and it isn’t too popular of a statement but nevertheless it is what I genuinely believe and I pray that you will agree with me because if you do then that means there is hope for change.

I believe that the church is to blame for whatever problems going on in our country today, I believe that they allowed sin to come into the very house of God and it contaminated it and crippled the people that once stood strong and bold on his word, you see there is nothing at all wrong with sinners coming in the house of God, but you can’t allow yourselves to be caught with your guard down and I believe that is  what the church has done over the years, little by little they have continually let their guard down until there really isn’t one held up at all anymore. Sinners would walk into the house of God and they wouldn’t be convicted by the people’s judgmental looks, rather they would be convicted of the power of the Holy Ghost, and this is what we need to get back to my dear brothers and sisters.

I thank you for reading today’s post, I hope that you have a blessed weekend with blessings beyond your wildest imaginations, God is in fact looking out for you and he will never leave nor forsake you.

Until next time…

Building A Kingdom

Jul
28

Today so many times Pastors can be easily swept up into this idea of building an earthly kingdom. When in reality, we are supposed to be building a heavenly kingdom, for GOD. A spiritual kingdom, where people’s spirits are raised up. Rather then their comfort levels of themselves and the church they are attending, because true peace comes from full truth of the word of God.

11007706_1087180361307478_505414202_n

Awhile back I did an audio drama story about how important it is that we stop focusing on structural buildings, money and all of these ‘man-made’ doctrines. And just start looking on the truth of his word, start preaching and sharing that truth with others so that they will be saved. Instead of trying to get them to give you their tithes so you can go out and buy a new jet or new building expansions, here’s a crazy idea. How about telling them to get right with God? How about preparing them for what is to come ‘spiritually’? Why not try to help strengthen them for bad times that may come in their walk with Christ? Instead of lying to them and telling them that God won’t allow any pain or harm to come upon them just because they’ve been ‘born again.’

We all know that is a false doctrine. We all know that the very minute we walk into will that God has had planned for us since the start of all time, everything will turn completely chaotic. All hell will break loose. Out of nowhere it will seem as if the sky has came crashing down on top of you, unmercifully. Does this mean that God doesn’t love you? No. It means that he loves you enough to walk along the roadside WITH you as you endure this pain. He LOVES you, and because he loves you. He doesn’t want you to be fooled into feeling or believing as if living for him will be a walk through the roses. As matter of fact. He actually tells you in scripture to count the cost to see if you really want to take the risk of living for him.

It Takes Everything –

I have quoted this line from the Rev. Billy Graham many times. Because it’s true. While salvation most definitely free, we also have to take into consideration. That discipleship will cost us EVERYTHING. How can this be? Look at all the disciples in the bible that walked with Jesus, look at where they all ended up. Dead. In some way shape or form, they were brutally crucified for walking the faith of our Lord and Savior. They were martyred for simply preaching and teaching in ‘The NAME” of Jesus Christ. And we see the same thing in today’s time happening all around us. Everywhere you look, people are losing their lives for claiming to be in Christ, every minute you turn around. People are dying, while building the kingdom of God.

They aren’t living in mansions bigger than a super mall while doing this. They aren’t preaching fluff and puff, they aren’t getting all the riches of the world. They might not even have much money at all. Like you and like me, (the average Christian) they are but travelers through this world of woe. Strangers you could say. Knowing that by grace we are saved and by faith we can endure all things with God whom are all things possible. We know that the road to building a kingdom isn’t as grand as many TV Preachers make it out to be today, but we also know that there is a great reward for us in heaven. Aha! There is is! There must be some kind of prize for having to endure such a hard life on this earth, right?

In Conclusion:

Yes! And what is it? Is it cars? Money? Million dollar mansions? The best paying job that there is? Fame? Popularity? How about a lot of friends? No. So what could it possible be? Oh wait! I KNOW! How about we ask Jesus what our prize is? OK, I’ll ask him.

Scripture Verse:

Rejoice, and be exceeding glad: for great is your reward in heaven: for so persecuted they the prophets which were before you.
 – Matthew 5:12 KJV

There we are! Greater is our reward where? Did Jesus say, Earth? NO. He said, HEAVEN! So does this mean that we cannot have an ounce of peace on this earth? Absolutely not. What this means is, our main goal in building a kingdom should not be receiving a whole lot of money, or having all the possessions of the world. Fame, popularity, no. Our goal should be to see people saved, to see people come to the alter and become truly reborn. Baptized and filled with the Holy Ghost, bursting with his joy. Exceeding in his holiness.

That, is our goal. For more information about my audio drama, please. CLICK HERE

Thank you for reading today’s post, I hope that it has blessed you in some way and until next time.

Hate – Fluff & The Bible

May
26

Life is like a chocolate cream filled Donut, if you cut it open in half, it can then be divided into two sides. Each side being what man considers to be right and wrong. However, it appears that there is still the cream to be dealt with. What is the cream? The cream is the truth, and the truth will forever abide.

IMG_3609

The Bible can be used for many things, comfort, peace, joy, relief. Something to help you cope with life or something to help you merely get by when things aren’t going the way you planned. You can use it to beat people down, or use it to raise them up. It can be used to fool people and it can be used to hurt people. Sometimes that hurt can be intentional, other times it isn’t completely intentional or it may not even be intentional at all. The Bible can make people cry tears of pain or laugh, laughs of mockery. Or it can make them cry tears of joy and sorrow for Christ’s death and laugh laughs of bubbling joy that only comes from the Spirit of God.

The Bible can be dangerous to the soul when interpreted the wrong way or it can be wondrous to the soul when spoken in it’s full truth. It can either be used to hate everything and everyone to hell, or love everything and everyone to hell. Or it can be used to love people with true love, with truth and boldness for our Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. Ultimately, the choice is left up entirely to us. Whether we decide to make the right one is another story. Let us not forget, the side of truth will always reign most high above all else. So let us stand for truth, let us teach truth and let us defend TRUTH.

There Is An Equal Balance –

I am constantly telling everyone I know that there IS an equal balance to the scriptures. You see, most Christian’s today either want to be so strict that they almost choke themselves off from God and others with rules, or they are so filled with a wishy washy lovey dubby love that they fall into the trap of using ‘grace’ as an excuse to sin. And neither of those are good ways to lead a walk with God, The Almighty. I see so much HATE today, whether it’s angry Christian’s or angry gay’s or angry atheists it does not make no difference. Hate is hate. If the Christian’s hold up a sign saying that “God Hates Gay People” then the atheists and gays are most likely to retaliate with an even bigger sign saying that “God Hate’s Signs” or “F*** this guy.”

But don’t get me wrong, the tables can turn and the events can go both ways. Gays and atheists can hold up their signs of hate to Christian’s and Christian’s have been known to retaliate right back in the same hateful ways, which in turn continues to feed into a never ending cycle of ‘fueling fire with fire.’ When will it end? Is it at all possible that we could BOTH just once stop trying to solve our problems with HATE and instead in turn try and actually LISTEN to one another? Will we agree? Probably not, but what is the point of hating? Where is that getting us? But let us not confuse HATE with TRUTH or strong held beliefs.

The Bible Speaks Truth –

As a Christian, I believe every single word of the bible. I will admit that there are many things I have yet to understand and many more things that I may never understand in this life, however. That is just fine. You know why? Not once in the scripture did Christ tell me that I MUST understand everything, rather he said this.

Scripture Verse:

And they said, Believe on the Lord Jesus Christ, and thou shalt be saved, and thy house. – Mark 16:31 KJV

(I got that from one of Rev. Billy Graham’s old sermons.) A very smart and anointed man he is, and his son is stepping into his line of work just fine. Many times he is criticized for spewing ‘hate’ when in reality all he is doing is professing his faith, now what exactly is it any good to the world for a ‘Christian’ to not believe what he says he believes? Or even better, for a ‘Christian’ not to actually go out and ‘PRACTICE’ what he preaches. I mean, isn’t this the cause of us getting so harshly judged for by the left, is us not being ‘Christian’ enough? Yet, for whatever reason. When we actually DO show our faith, the liberal media and angry atheist’s just go into a wild frenzy making accusations of us ‘spewing hate’.

Scripture Verse:

Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? – Galatians 4:16 KJV

Well, I guess I am. And I would much rather be the enemy of MAN than be the enemy of an all powerful, all knowing and all seeing Almighty God. There are those among us in the church world today that do not believe we should call out sin in the church or in the world when we see it. They tell us that is not biblical, it’s judgmental. “You can’t judge other people’s convictions. We have ALL sinned and all have fallen short.” Yes, yes we have. However, we are meant to be free now. I have no problem with people falling in their walk with Christ ‘occasionally’ (meaning rarely) we are all prone to that, it is our human nature. However, our human nature is NO excuse to continue on in a willful sin. Just as Grace is no excuse either.

In Conclusion:

The lesson to be learned is this, be very wise in how you use your bible. Because there is only one right way to use it, but many wrong ways. And it can be so easy to use his word as an excuse and even easier to use it to hurt people. Using it as an excuse to sin is just as bad or worse than those who use it to torment people and crucify others and judge them in an unrighteous fashion. What may seem right can many times be wrong and what may seem wrong can be wrong.

However, there is indeed an equal balance to the scripture. We must not love or beat others to hell, and we cannot speak so softly that our words are misunderstood or so loudly that we scare everyone away. Rather we need to present his word and his truth with utmost sincerity, utmost love and utmost dedication to the cause of holiness and truth. Because even though the bible can be used for many things, it’s one true purpose is to guide people, to teach people.

To lead them to the truth of salvation and holiness, to lead them to God. Christ. I hope you enjoyed today’s blog post and until next time let me wish you a blessed day.

Come As You Are – Leave As You Weren’t

May
07

Bold words for the Christian church today, in a church world that doesn’t believe one has to change to be worthy of the kingdom of God, I can only imagine that these words are like fingernails on a chalkboard, as matter of fact it seems to me that all truth in the bible when it is spoken to today’s church they react as if you just ran your fingernails down a school chalkboard, why? The truth hurts, that is why.

woman-at-the-wellWhat is my purpose of today’s post? The same purpose as any other post I’ve written, not to judge or condemn, oh no, I will spare you the biblical inclination where we do have a right to “righteously” judge others (especially our brethren) and I will just discuss my observations once again of the ‘modern church’. I hope to make you think about the events going on around you so that you may begin to see just how wrong they really are, because they are really wrong and it is time for a big change in today’s churches, though that might make some of you a little uncomfortable you will just have to deal with that feeling and figure out whether or not that feeling is from a fleshly judgement inflicted upon you by another human’s opinion/belief (mine) or if it is inflicted upon you by the power and conviction of the Holy Ghost.

Every where in the bible, whether it was repentance of sins or being healed of some terrible disease or sickness that the person had come upon later in life or received at birth, we find that those people came to Christ in that vulnerable state, they came to him broken and they in their despair came to him seeking renewal, seeking healing, seeking… Transformation. They didn’t want to leave Christ the same way that they came, they wanted to walk away from him as they weren’t, and Christ didn’t want them to leave as they came either, you see In many cases have mentioned that I believe God doesn’t really accept us as we are, he accepts us as we are as he sees us in him, he sees us as he has already foreseen us and that is why he accepts us, he knows we are capable of greatness, if we would only allow him to come into our life and change it.

THE OLD MAN IS DEAD –

Many people in churches today however want to run ‘Grace’ into the ground and they don’t understand that by doing this they are abusing the beautiful gift that God gave us, they are mocking the torture that he went through, they are mocking all the punishment and pain which he had to endure so that we could be saved and they do so without a single care at all, so it seems, we know that scripture tells us that in Christ we find salvation, free salvation, a gift, it isn’t anything that we could ever pay for with our own works, but we know at the same time that we are to be transformed by the renewing of our mind, we are to put off the things of the old man.

We are to come to his alter as we are, and leave as we never were before.

Scripture Verses:

Therefore if any man be in Christ, he is a new creature: old things are passed away; behold, all things are become new. 2. Corinthians 5:17 K.J.V.

Knowing this, that our old man is crucified with him, that the body of sin might be destroyed, that henceforth we should not serve sin.

For he that is dead is freed from sin.

Now if we be dead with Christ, we believe that we shall also live with him:

Knowing that Christ being raised from the dead dieth no more; death hath no more dominion over him.

For in that he died, he died unto sin once: but in that he liveth, he liveth unto God.

Likewise reckon ye also yourselves to be dead indeed unto sin, but alive unto God through Jesus Christ our Lord.

Let not sin therefore reign in your mortal body, that ye should obey it in the lusts thereof.

Neither yield ye your members as instruments of unrighteousness unto sin: but yield yourselves unto God, as those that are alive from the dead, and your members as instruments of righteousness unto God.

For sin shall not have dominion over you: for ye are not under the law, but under grace. Romans 6:6 – 14 KJV

However, It appears to me that many people today seem to believe that change isn’t necessary, transformation isn’t needed, we can just simply “Come As We Are” and “Stay As We Are” but if that was this case then I have to ask the question most might be thinking when this is happening before us, “What then is the point of God?” if we can come as we are and never get any true change and there is never any type of sanctification process and separation from things of a worldly nature then WHAT. IS. THE. POINT. OF. GOD.? Perhaps the answer to that question would be this, God is a magically genie in a bottle that call upon to grant all of their wishes so that they can live the most rich and lavish lifestyle possible without ever facing any problems and cotton candy falls from the sky every evening around 5pm and the man dropping it is everyone’s beloved ‘pastor’ Joel Osteen, wait a second… That doesn’t sound right?

In Conclusion:

Without some type of ‘good’ ‘holy’ change then I have to say that God isn’t in. I’m sorry, well actually, according to a blog post I wrote a few days ago, I’m not sorry. I’m sorry in a sense that you may be deceived, but I am not sorry for the truth of the matter, you see preachers are often spreading a message of ‘love’ ‘prosperity’ and it almost appears as if they are trying to advertise the board game (Candyland) now I don’t know about you but I don’t believe that Gods gospel truth and his church is ‘candyland’ I actually believe it is to be something more something far  greater than we can ever imagine and I don’t believe that we are to be like sugary gum drops, that melts at the first sign of the sun, the heat.

But I believe that we are to be strong, courageous, bold and upholding his truth with all our might, we are to dedicate ourselves to him with everything in us, with every last fiber of our being and we cannot allow ourselves to be shaken, we cannot allow ourselves to be fooled by these lies of fluff and puff preaching. God doesn’t make our lives easier, he makes our LIFE possible, God, grace, faith all of that is where we pull strength from to make it through another day, we were never promised easy from his word, we are not ever meant to live a rich life though if we were to come upon some fortune that wouldn’t be a bad thing. But that should never be our goal. I understand if some want to find an easier way, because it can get hard times, but I don’t understand how people could believe it.

People that have served God for years can turn away from everything they once believed, whether it being wearing skirts, make-up, pants watching TV whatever it is they used to brutally judge others for not wearing skirts, for wearing make-up, for wearing pants and for being a participant of ‘Television’ (or as some call it) “Hellevision” yet now they wear pants, shorts, make-up, watch all manner of truly sinful things on TV and somehow it is OK, for them. But let us be not deceived, whatever sin is, if we know to do good and then don’t do it, then to us it IS sin. (James 4:17)

I hope that today’s post has blessed you in someway and you made you face yourself and THINK.

I’m Not Sorry.

May

Church these days isn’t what it once was two generations ago, not even one generation, I have never experienced or seen Church the way that maybe my Grandma would have or even the way my mom might have. d6923642636390a5c515cc858a362addIt appears to me that over the course of time our Church has grown weak, feeble, soft (If I may) it seems to me that the Church has grown selfish, worldly and losing all sight of what the main purpose of everything is really about, and when that happens then all things good can easily become lost, people can begin letting all manner of sin in the house of God, what was once unimaginable and unthinkable is now accepted as normal it appears to me that we are failing. We are failing God, those that will come behind us, our country and we are failing ourselves, it’s a crying shame, I have noticed more and more in these days that there are far too many ‘Apologetic’s’ behind the pulpits (and I don’t mean theology) but I for one am NOT sorry for what I believe, I am NOT sorry that I believe upon the Gospel Of Jesus Christ.

I will not constantly try to smooth talk my way through a message that I know good and well has come from the word of God and from the Holy Ghost’s guidance, I will not continuously look out for your feelings like you are some little helpless child that needs to be watched over every minute of the day, and no, I won’t try and shout you down, I won’t mistreat you or purposely try to make you feel condemned, that is not my goal my only goal as a servant of Christ is to share his message with others wherever I go, without apology for however it may offend someone.

My only goal is to reach out in genuine love for you as a follower of Christ who cares greatly for the well being of your soul, that is my only goal. If in someway you are offended, condemned or hurt by whatever message I give, that is not of my own doing, that is not my problem, and I will NOT apologize for preaching what I believe God has called me to preach.

The Holy Ghost Convicts:

Does anyone remember services where you would walk in and if you weren’t where you were supposed to be with God you would know it by the power of the Holy Ghost in the Church? That’s the problem though, at the end of last week I mentioned that the modern church is afraid to mention the power of the Holy Ghost and because of this sin is easily able to infect our churches and it’s people, and this can easily become a great obstruction for us as Christians.

When you aren’t spiritually ready to face the enemy then it can quickly devour you along with it and what you meant for good can so rapidly turn into something devastating, now it isn’t wrong at all to try and reach out to everyone that you possibly can, but at the same time, there are instances where the enemy will send in someone ‘purposely’ to try and destroy the church, it happens all the time and I myself have seen this in my own life, and if we as a people aren’t ready in Spirit then it can devour us, the bible tells us that there is conviction that comes from the power of the Holy Ghost, such conviction has been lost today, but if any feel convicted one bit while reading or hearing anything I have to say, let this be known unto them.

  • For the word of God is quick, and powerful, and sharper than any twoedged sword, piercing even to the dividing asunder of soul and spirit, and of the joints and marrow, and is a discerner of the thoughts and intents of the heart. – Hebrews 4:12 KJV
  • And when he is come, he will reprove the world of sin, and of righteousness, and of judgment: – John 16:8 KJV (Jesus Speaking of the Holy Ghost)

The truth of the Gospel will bring people to the acknowledgement of their wrong doings by the power of the Holy Ghost all on it’s on, we don’t need to do any extra effort in trying to make people feel bad and we most certainly shouldn’t, and that isn’t my goal, my number one goal is to bring people to acknowledge his truth as I know it, I will always share this word with others knowing that it is the infallible word of the one true God, and that is another thing.

In Conclusion:

I am NOT sorry that I believe in the one true God of this entire universe who is Jesus Christ, King of kings and the Lord of lords, he is the great I AM and the I AM HE and I will not apologize for believing that HE IS everything and more, that is what we need, we need an unapologetic movement of God’s church, not filled with anger or hate, but people that are filled with a great passion and LOVE for Christ, for his word and for what he has done for us, THE Church now more than ever needs to rise up unashamed for Christ’s word like never before.

  • For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. – Romans 1:16 KJV

Are you ‘ashamed’? I am not, and I will not ever allow anyone to try and push me into a corner out of fear or anger either, nor will I try to do anyone else the same, rather I will continue to speak the truth of the word of God without apologizing for it’s holiness and I will love with a Christ like love, and I encourage everyone else to do the same, because it is the only way, it is HIS way, it is the way that we are all supposed to go down no matter how hard things may get from time to time, we must all keep moving on.

And we must all say that NO, we are NOT sorry for being who WE are, we are NOT sorry for loving Christ, we are NOT sorry for upholding his righteousness, we are NOT sorry for believing in his word and we most certainly are NOT sorry for living for him, the one TRUE God.

Until next time…

Jesus Won’t Accept It..

Apr
30

Hello and welcome once again to my heavenly abode, may you all be welcomed in Jesus precious name amen and Shalom.

th With all this wickedness in today’s world, with churches condoning gay marriage and Christians saying that “they are born that way” and with all this sinful nature in the world there is just one thing many people seem to forget or sadly do not pay attention to at all is that: Jesus died for the FORGIVENESS of sins not the ACCEPTANCE of sin, Jesus LOVED the ‘sinner’ but HATED the ‘sin’ we cannot condone sin. People are NOT born gay. That’s absurdity and biblically it’s an abomination. (It is not of ‘love’ rather of lust) And we as God fearing christians are to uphold his truths and not bow down to the wicked carnally mindset of man made garbage in this world.

Most tend to forget that Jesus said if we loved him we would keep his commandments which are MANY commandments.. If we deny his TRUTH and fail to warn people of the consequences of their actions biblically taught to us if they don’t TURN from their wicked ways.. If we deny that, we will be denying Jesus and if we deny Jesus he in the end will deny us. We are so consumed in this thing about ‘saving feelings’ but the thing is, God called us to be courageous, he called us to be bold, fearless he called us to save ‘souls’ not ‘feelings’. If we truly love our brother and sister in Christ we will look after them that they may not stray from the path that God has set out for us all.

He is a holy God, he is a just God, he is a jealous God with a mighty hand of wrath upon those that do not obey his commandments. But because of his loving grace if we humble ourselves and beg from him forgiveness and TURN away from our wicked ways and begin a new life where we put off the things of the old man and all things become NEW then will we be able to live sure in the salvation of our lord Jesus Christ and loving savior. He loved the world so much he died on the cross so that we could have an opportunity to CHANGE our lives and be BORN again…

Be Transformed:

Everywhere in the bible when Jesus performed his miracles and TRANSFORMED people’s lives they began a NEW life leading a NEW life with a CLEANSED soul, when he said to the woman at the well that her sins were FORGIVEN she had to go back to her first husband. She didn’t get to go back to her old ways. Jesus didn’t ACCEPT that.

He doesn’t ACCEPT sin.

He don’t ‘accept’ us AS WE ARE he accepts us as we are when we come to him KNOWING what we can BECOME in him, as what he KNOWS we could be in him if we would JUST humble ourselves and ALLOW the transformation to be done in our lives, there’s too many people playing church, playing with God. Jesus loved us all so much he died so that if we get our life on track according to his perfect plan leading a sinless and holy life we could be spared from hell, no man without holiness shall see the kingdom of God, We all have the right to live however it is that we please but one day we will ALL have to pay the cost.

People seem to forget that Jesus that was in a rage at the money changers in the synagogue, whipping and yelling at them in an holy anger and that is what we as the saints of God need to embrace, we need to embrace a LOVE to lead others to the light and see their lives transformed from the truth of God, an holy anger to defend his truth and an holy hatred toward all matter of sin and wickedness in this world

  • And be not conformed to this world: but be ye transformed by the renewing of your mind, that ye may prove what is that good, and acceptable, and perfect, will of God.

For we are IN this world but NOT OF this world!

“ALL I KNOW IS IM NOT HOME YET THIS IS NOT WHERE I BELONG! TAKE THIS WORLD IN ALL IT’S SINFUL WICKEDNESS AND GIVE ME JESUS THIS IS NOT WHERE I BELONG!”

We are ALL called to be messengers, we are ALL called to testify and witness to others the dangers of hell especially in these times, WAKE UP SLEEPING GIANT! The church needs to awake! God is calling but many are ignoring his call Christians need not be afraid to speak his truth..

Because the thing of it is, is that christians are all too soft spoken these days.

We need not be so soft spoken that we mislead others because of misinterpretation of what we said, but we also need not speak so loudly and harshly (as the westboro baptist church members do) that we run off sinners and hardened their hearts even worse.

No, the scripture says to everything there is a season and a time for everything… And there is that time to stand bold on the word of God and not fall for the lies that these wishy washy preachers are trying to indoctrinate into our minds, Jesus didn’t pay the ultimate sacrifice for us to defy and deny him and his truth every day by leading others astray, every person that walks into our lives by how we witness to them by the TRUTH that WE know if we don’t do EVERYTHING in our power according to what it is that WE know then their blood WILL be on OUR hands!

And if that soul goes to hell because WE didn’t judge according to the scripture, then GOD will condemn us for letting them fall away from him because we KNEW better but CHOSE not to say anything to save their ‘feelings’ and when they find their ‘soul’ is lost because that christian didn’t do what HE/SHE/WE are supposed to do, it will be a horrible event to see and we will be judged for it… Jesus loves us all and if we love him we will keep his commandments and share his commandments with others…

In Conclusion:

It is our Christian duty. We are obliged by God.

And I for one will not have the blood of another persons soul on my hands, we are in the soul saving business with God, God isn’t in the “feeling saving” business if someone’s feelings get hurt, yet their soul is saved because of it then so be it.

There is a time and a place:

  • And of some have compassion, making a difference:
  • And others save with fear, pulling them out of the fire; hating even the garment spotted by the flesh. (Jude 1:22-23 KJV)
  • For do I now persuade men, or God? or do I seek to please men? for if I yet pleased men, I should not be the servant of Christ. (Galatians 1:10 KJV)
  • Am I therefore become your enemy, because I tell you the truth? (Galatians 4:16 KJV)

I am not out to please man, and we as Christians will either serve Christ or satan, we cannot sit on the fence. I’ve said this many times, we must be hot or cold. With God or against him, either we stand BOLD by his word or we are not standing at all. If I am your enemy for telling the truth, so be it I would rather be the enemy of man, then be the  enemy of God. and I will say this  again, I take much gladness in being worthy to suffer shame for his name in being the enemy of man.

I want nothing more than to see lost souls saved, but to see them saved, we must speak TRUTH. I believe God can save anybody, but they must be willing to change for him, there is NO compromise with God, only forgiveness once we turn from our evil ways. If we do not then it is hell to pay.

  • For I am not ashamed of the gospel of Christ: for it is the power of God unto salvation to every one that believeth; to the Jew first, and also to the Greek. (Romans 1:16 KJV)

Go out, be bold, be courageous, be a servant of God.

Strangers Here…

Apr
28

There are moments when this world can be incredibly amazing and other times when it can be incredibly disappointing, there are times when all things are as alright as they can be and then there are times when everything comes crumbling down like a house of cards, and what are we supposed to do then?

the-stranger1I have always had a very real grasp on the fact that as a Christian in this world there is absolutely a 100% chance that you are not going to fit in anywhere and that might even count for some churches as well, I have contemplated this fact many times that we as Christians and we as the children of an almighty powerful all knowing God, we aren’t meant to be of this world, we are only meant to be in it for a short time, if it feels like from time to time that we haven’t been doing well and as if we will never fit in. Well, that’s because we won’t, no matter how hard we try and no matter what we do, no matter what it is that we try and convince ourselves or no matter how nice we are to people we will never truly feel at home, and it’s a sad thing in many instances but at the same time it is an amazing thing that we should be exceedingly grateful for.

Moving to Texas hasn’t been something easy for me and my family, then with all the hurt from personal family problems that hasn’t helped any either and as matter of fact it’s made things worse for us, I still love Texas, but no matter how hard we try we just haven’t been able to make that personal community type of connection with those around us, no matter what it is that we say or do we can’t get that here, and as matter of fact we have never really had something like that. But at least we got to meet people and make some type of connection with them, here we’ve struggled to even do that, from my point of view that is, because I personally love being able to go somewhere and recognize someone I have met before, I may seem real shy and to a very great extent I am however, I enjoy being able to make those connections.

Travelin’ Through This World Of Woe –

There is an old folk song that I am certain I have mentioned many times before and it expresses some of these real issues about how we are only strangers that are traveling through this world of woe, we are only passing through on our journey to be with our Father in heaven, we are only here for a small period of time and if we don’t take that into consideration we could let ourselves be lost to the fact that even though this world is not meant for us, we are meant to be a light for this world, while Jesus is THE light, we know very well that we are to be an example for him, there are some of us who have had our guts beat out and our hands burned in the fire, others have walked so far that they can’t hardly walk anymore from all the blisters on their feet and then there are the people have been through it all.

We all have a story my friends, we all have a destiny, we all have a much greater purpose than to simply ‘belong’ here, because we can’t possible be a part of this world with all it’s perverted wickedness, with all of it’s evil ways, we can’t be a part of the true world. However, just because we aren’t able to be some part of a world that’s filled with horrible things that doesn’t mean that everyone in this world is bad, it doesn’t mean that everyone out there isn’t reachable in some way shape or form, and I think once we all get a hold of the fact that we aren’t meant to belong here but rather meant to be an example for others and to make a difference and an impact while we are here, well. I think when we figure that out then that is when we will have it all figured out, actually I fully do believe that once we figure that out, that is when we will be someone stronger than we have ever been in our entire life time.

In Conclusion:

It’s hard, I know it’s hard, you know it’s hard. We all know that it is hard. But just because something is hard doesn’t mean that is completely impossible of doing, it just means that it’ll take a little more time to finish than it normally would. My friends, I know that there are those who have gone through the worst possible trials ever, but like I always say, it’s important to remember that when you are going through something bad, the good that came out of the last time you went through a rough patch. It’s vital that we take into consideration all of the little things, it is vital that we give God all the praise at all times, because it is one thing to praise him when life is fine and good, but when we can praise God when we have literally ‘nothing’ of this world, that is when we will be able to say that we have reached an extremely special relationship with Christ, and I know some of you reading this now, you can do it, you have done it and all that this trial to you is, is just another stepping stone to take.

We may never fit in this world, that doesn’t mean people of the world won’t like us, it just means that it’ll be harder for us to be liked simply because of how strong a stance we take for Christ. People can either hate you, love you, or simply respect you. But what’s always important is that we stand for truth in love with great boldness like we are taking our last breath today, it’s important that we realize what is important to us and once we find that out it is even more of an importance to actually make that something known, shout it out from the roof tops, don’t be afraid, don’t be scared, don’t be shy and for goodness sakes don’t be ashamed. We’re just strangers here, we’re all strangers here, it’s alright if you can’t stop the tears that you cry, because someday we will touch the face of our God and the sorrow will disappear.

Until then “We’re Strangers Here.”

Fears Of The Church…

Apr
24

Oh, hello there, I didn’t see you there. Welcome back to my heavenly abode, I was just getting ready for a new post, if you would like to join me you are more than welcome to, pull up a seat and get comfortable.

11146085_1117440251614822_1963915829_nI would like to talk with you today about three main fears of the modern church today, and while this can be a very touchy subject for some people, just because something was a touchy subject hasn’t yet stopped me from speaking about such issues before and it won’t start now, so let’s just get started with identifying the three main fears of the church today, why don’t we?

  •  1. The BLOOD

It is a very key factor in the scripture that there is great POWER in his blood, yet many of the modern day churches seem to continue on in removing the ‘blood’ out of their songs, their messages and even in their average conversations with one another, but why is it that people are so afraid to speak of his blood that was shed so we could all have eternal salvation?

  • For this is my blood of the new testament, which is shed for many for the remission of sins. – Matthew 26:28 KJV
  • In whom we have redemption through his blood, even the forgiveness of sins: – Colossians 1:14 KJV
  • And almost all things are by the law purged with blood; and without shedding of blood is NO remission.

The old song goes that there is POWER in the blood, and it is true, we as Christians have the authority to claim his blood in whatever situation we are in, we are saved by his blood, we are cleansed by his blood we are made new through his blood and his blood alone, demons flee at the sight of his blood, without being covered in his blood we are doomed and I for one am not ashamed of his blood.

However, the blood can be combined with another feared power of the modern church.

  • 2. The NAME Of JESUS

Through the word of God we also know that there is GREAT power found only in the NAME of our Lord and Savior JESUS Christ, power strong enough to make demons tremble at the very utterance of it, and power strong enough to heal the sick in body, powerful enough to cleanse us of all our sins, a name with such power that when we call upon it and profess to live by it daily we are saved from death, hell and the grave, yet so many in the modern Church for whatever reason whether it be political or outright fear in spirit they take great precautions in mentioning the precious name of Jesus in a way that would issue a command of authority.

Scripture tells us:

  • And Jesus came and spake unto them, saying, All power is given unto me in heaven and in earth. – Matthew 28:18 KJV
  • Neither is there salvation in any other: for there is none other name under heaven given among men, whereby we must be saved.

So many ‘Christians’ claim to believe these things, but when it comes down to the going getting rough they don’t really wanna get ‘tough’ in their faith, they deny Jesus and as it says in timothy, they say they know God yet they deny the power thereof and this is sadly what we are seeing in the modern church today.

There is one last combined power that MUST be combined with the power of the blood and Jesus name.

  • 3. The HOLY GHOST

Those of us (like myself) that have experienced it can only go from that, there is really no other way to try and describe the feeling that comes from the power of the Holy Ghost, we can try but no one will really truly ever understand it until they have come to experience it themselves, and while some people think that it’s demonic work of satan they are wrong, and they will just have to take it up with Jesus.

  • But ye shall receive power, after that the Holy Ghost is come upon you: and ye shall be witnesses unto me both in Jerusalem, and in all Judaea, and Samaria, and unto the uttermost part of the earth. – Acts 1:8 KJV
  • The Peter said, Silver and gold have I none; but such as I have give I thee: In the name of Jesus Christ of Nazareth rise up and walk. – Acts 3:6 KJV
  • How God anointed Jesus of Nazareth with the Holy Ghost and with power: who went about doing good, and healing all that were oppressed of the devil; for God was with him. – Acts 10:38 KJV
  • And it came to pass that the father of Publius lay sick of a fever and of a bloody flux: to whom Paul entered in, and prayed, and laid his hands on him, and healed him.

In Conclusion:

From the scriptures above we have learned that through the blood of Jesus, through the name of Jesus, with the power of the Holy Ghost we are able to lay hands on the sick and heal them, not of our own power but of the great power of God that only comes from calling on his name, when the blood of Jesus is made combined with his name and the Holy Ghost then we know that great things can happen.

William Booth (Founder Of Salvation Army) Once Said:

“The Chief danger of the 20th century will be religion without the Holy Ghost, Christianity without Christ, forgiveness without repentance, salvation without regeneration, politics without God, and Heaven without Hell.” –

My friends we have arrived to the point where the modern church is filled with such fear to mention any of those key factors in the above quote, especially hell.

  1. Fear to even mention the BLOOD.
  2. Fear to even pray in JESUS NAME.
  3. Fear to even talk about the POWER of the HOLY GHOST.

Brothers, Sisters, there is nothing to fear when it comes to these three key factors of our beliefs, as matter of fact above all else we should be encouraged by knowing that we have authority over this demonic world through his blood, his name and the Holy Ghost, we should rejoice in the fact that these core beliefs make us stand out and stand bold for him, as a bright light reflecting him and his TRUE power.

We must all strive to be better each day, until next time my dear friends remember, continue on in fighting the good fight of faith, so that in the end you may be able to say 2 Timothy 4:7
