This is the day which the Lord hath made; we will rejoice and be glad in it. – Psalms 118:24 (KJV)

Lost Time

The crack of an egg into a hot skillet can be heard throughout the entire house, as a whisk scrapes against the bowl of fresh made pancake batter and the sizzle of sausage is thunderous – while the morning sun rises from behind the wooded skyline.

It’s breakfast time… Or is it? Do we have time for that? Why is it that we tend to ‘lose track of time’? What is so wrong with us that we cannot even make time for a homemade morning meal. Sausage, eggs and pancakes for goodness sake! (I love pancakes with sausage right in the center of them drizzled in maple syrup. Yummy) You know – when I was younger breakfast was my most favorite meal. Whether it be breakfast pizza, bacon and eggs, perhaps biscuits and sausage gravy or maybe pancakes in the shape of mickey mouse. Sometimes it was as simple as butter and jelly on toast. I loved breakfast and when I make the time, it is still my most favorite meal. It IS the most important meal of the day, after all.

I find that breakfast is the most savory delight in the morning. Nothing beats your hunger in the mornings like a good ole’ fashioned home cooked breakfast accompanied by a nice tall glass of Orange Juice – It seems to me that a big American breakfast just cannot be made without a refreshing glass of orange juice. I do enjoy breakfast. But that is not the reason of this blog post. Though it does play a good part in it. We have lost time. In every way in our lives, we lose it every single day and we do not even take that very fact into consideration. We have become so consumed with doing our work faster and faster that we forget to breathe. We don’t take the time to smell the roses. We don’t think we have the time, if something is not done at high-speed then we just curl up in a ball and want to die. Our lives are filled with “Rush, Rush, Rush” or “Hurry, Hurry, Hurry”

“Move faster, faster! Don’t wanna be late! There’s no time for that. Maybe another day!” We work so hard, we move so fast. Yet, it seems we never really accomplish that much good. And we are always turning our lights out for bed as fast as we get up out of bed that morning it seems. Time flies when we fly. But I have noticed that time is also very still, when we are still. The days last longer, when we take the time to enjoy the little things in life. When we take the time to enjoy that glass of orange juice for breakfast. When we take the time to read those bible verses BEFORE breakfast. Ahh… Now we are getting somewhere…

Feed The Soul AND The Body:

The bible tells us that:

It is written, Man shall not live by bread alone, but by every word that proceedeth out of the mouth of God.  – Matthew 4:4 (KJV)

I remember my Pastor and Spiritual Grandpa (Now with the Lord – Brother Thurman Ward)  every morning he would get up and before breakfast was even thought of he would have his bible out on the table and would be reading some sort of passage. When we would visit them early in the mornings he would invite us to join them and he would give a full bible teaching before breakfast. He loved the word, he lived in the word and the Word lived IN him. Long gone are the days of the men of ole’. They have passed on and the generation left in this world have big shoes to fill. And for many us, myself included am convicted of this too. We are not at all the warriors for Christ we were made to be. That we SHOULD be. We are to be ‘Soldiers‘ in the LORD’s Army!

We are to walk in the fullness of God, to be a light in the darkness. But too many times, we let time get away from us. We choose to use our time in other activities, perhaps we can’t pry ourselves from our binge session of AMC’s “The Walking Dead” or BBCA’s “Doctor Who” or maybe that new Marvel movie? I have been guilty of this as I’m sure we all have. So many will shout and cheer and erupt in emotion at the Super Bowl or Friday night football, but when they are in the presence of the Almighty God, when they come into his house, wherever that may be. They show no emotion.

We sometimes act as if God has done ‘NOTHING’ for us. I have been guilty of this as well. Not studying in his word like I should, not praising him like he should be praised when he is MORE than deserving of praise, he is worthy of all praise. But we lose track of time. There are no more episodes left to binge of ‘Supernatural’ or ‘The Flash’ or ‘Breaking Bad’. And we find ourselves tired, worn out. When all we’ve done is stare at a screen for hours. ‘Losing time’ so to speak. How dare we. How dare we say we are too tired to give him praise.

He is the Messiah, he is the Son of God, he is our SAVIOR! He is our LORD, Our Redeemer! He died on the cross for our sins, he suffered the ultimate sacrifice. He paid a debt we could not pay, we could never pay in a million years. We are so unworthy, we are so filthy. We are so pitiful, such vile and wicked evil people that we are. To sit and watch hours and hours of TV, movies, reading books, whatever it is that we are doing. Losing track of time. And complaining about how much time we’ve lost. God have mercy on us, forgive us of our sins and trespasses against you O’Lord, we are not worthy. We are like filthy rags compared to you, we are gone out into darkness, we are no good. Lord fill us with a fire in our souls, let those Holy Ghost flames roar within us. Pour your spirit out on us and cleanse us of our sins and pour out upon your Church a passion for your truth.

Let our hearts be humbled and our eyes be opened. O’Lord let us walk in your way, hold up our goings in your way that our footsteps slip not. Time is of the essence. The day of salvation is now, we know this.

Let the words of my mouth and the meditations of my heart be acceptable in thy sight O’Lord my Strength and my Redeemer. – Psalms 19:14 (KJV)

In Conclusion:

I know that time can get away from us all, I know that it can be hard sometimes to keep a daily bible schedule. But we must feed our Spirit to sustain our bodies. In word, and in prayer. The bible tells us – JESUS tells us:

Watch ye and pray, that ye enter not into temptation: the spirit is willing, but the flesh is weak. Matthew 26:41 (KJV)

It is so easy to fall, to stumble and trespass against our Lord. It can be so easy to neglect him and his word. In this day and age it can be far too easy. But to keep going in this life, to keep walking in his truth, to be able to fight this good fight. In these days especially. We must bury ourselves deep in his word. We must put on the whole armor of God. The bible teaches us that the enemy will come, he will tempt us. He will tell us we are not saved, he will tell us we can’t make it. He will tell us that it’s not worth it, we are not worth it. That Jesus does not love us, that he has forsaken us and that we might as well just give up and die. But the bible tells us when we are tempted, we must remember these three important things:

  1.  Call upon the name of the Lord.
  2. Speak the word Of God
  3. At the name of Jesus – The devil must flee.

He is most certainly worthy of all praise. Be not dismayed brethren. For the Lord our God is with us and he is looking out for us and he will deliver us from our enemies.

May he bless you and keep you, may he make his face shine upon you, may he be gracious unto you, may he lift up his countenance to up and may he give you…

Just ‘Steep’ A Little While…

No, I said that right the first time,It’s meant to be ‘Steep’ not ‘Sit.’ Yes, STEEP. S T E E P. You know, like steeping a good cuppa? A nice hot British brew? C’mon, really? You seriously got nothing at all? Ahh…

576A2A15-2A1C-46F5-8FD6-B4E9659C9ED1 (1)

Of course! Gone are the days of classic British Tea-Making techniques aren’t they? This is Murica’ we drink ‘Coffee’.Believe me, I’m not a diddly squat against coffee, I love it. Tea can often be so much better for us, on so many different levels. There are many different types of teas out there, with many different proven, and ‘effective’ benefits for all kinds of symptoms. However, today I would just like to talk about one plain type of tea in general.

  • The specific brand in general that I prefer the most is known as England’s #1 Tea, which is called pg_tips_logo_beau(PG TIPS) as featured in the picture to your left, and above. If you’d like to get some of your own, I have found the greatest deal for you, just click on the image to your left. It’s the best price around, trust me. It is good quality Tea, and worth it.

For people with high blood pressure, a large consumption of caffeine is simply not healthy at all. As we know, Coffee has the strongest, and highest amounts of caffeine levels in it among all other caffeinated beverages, including soda. In addition, there are many great tasting teas without any caffeine at all. Well, for those of us who need a little bit of a pick me up in the mornings, a bit of a caffeine can do the trick. Which is why I have chosen Black tea to be my sole choice of drink in the morning. While it is a tea with the most caffeine among it’s kind, It has a significant lower amount of caffeine then a cup of coffee. The darkest, and strongest brew of coffee has almost double the amount of a good cuppa.

Drinking lots of coffee will leave you crashing hard later, while tea will give you a nice boost without the groggy caffeine crash afterwards. Well, enough with all this, I’m sure most of you reading this right now are getting quite bored with my talks of tea aren’t you? I’m not entirely finished yet, but I will take a moment to explain.

Today, I would like to teach y’all how to make a classic, and proper cuppa British Tea. Which not even all, most, or possibly any British people even drink, and know how to make, or even care about it anymore, but I do. In the process of this, I would also like to help you learn how a good cuppa, and a good relationship with Christ, can go hand in hand. Please, for a moment do just bear with me. Furthermore, you see my friends, the term ‘Steep’ means to ‘soak’  a kind of something (most likely tea leaves) in hot water. The longer it steeps, the stronger it will soon become.

Let’s start with step one of making a proper cuppa British Tea. (Taught to me from a Youtube Video I found by a British Tea-Making Master himself)

Step 1:

Fill the Kettle with water, (YES an ACTUAL Kettle) not some sort of modern age coffee pot hot water heater/ boiler metal/plastic machine thing. Why use a Kettle instead of something else? Something else like one of those little hot water heaters on the side of your coffee pot? Not because it’s wrong. No, It’s OK to do that, I’ve done it, but the results are not the same as they are when you boil the water yourself until the little tea pot screams like a wild bob-cat in the wilderness. Whichever one seems more appealing to you, it’s your choice. When the tea isn’t as strong or bold, and It appears to be weaker, I believe it’s because those little water heaters do not get the water as hot as your stove top burner can. I’ve never used one of those electric kettle’s, but I know that many real live British people have, and it seems to work fine. Me, I’ll just use what I have.

How can this relate you to Christ in anyway? Through studying God’s word, a good cuppa, and a good bible verse should go hand in hand. Nowadays, you see, too many churches have become too modernized. This is coming from someone who should embrace the modernism!. Everyone wants an easier, and faster way to do things. As a result, with easy, and with fast you end up with weak, and feeble Spiritual influence. It takes time to become good, and strong in God. As it takes time with a good cuppa, as anything good takes time. Back to the tea, if you are making a pot of tea for 6 people, then you want to have 6 ounces of water per person which would be a little over 36 ounces of water.

Set that to boil.

Note: *For those of you who want your tea to be extra ‘British-y’ OR to stay hot longer while it’s setting all by it’s lonesome in the pot. First, just boil a kettle of water, then pour it into the teapot covering it, and let it set a few minutes while you start your measured amount of water to boil, and then pour out that water, and place the lid back on.*

Step 2:

Once the water has boiled, either place your tea leaves into the pot or your tea bags. Then, you want to have one teaspoon of tea leaves per person, and one teaspoon for the pot to make it stronger to your taste. Once your tea leaves/bags are properly placed, that is when you will pour the hot water OVER them evenly. Then, cover it with the lid, and let it steep for at least 5 minutes exactly, not a second more, or a second less. This step is crucial to achieve the perfect, and utmost proper cuppa. The reason being is this, as we learned earlier in this post, the longer the tea steeps/soaks in the hot water, the stronger and bolder it will get.

So, it is the same with us, and Christ! How, you ask? The longer we steep/soak (STUDY) In His Word, the stronger, and bolder for Christ we will become! It is true! The more we root ourselves in His Word, the more likely we are to stand strongly, and boldly for His truth. Yet, at the same time, we cannot allow ourselves to steep/soak/study too long. Yes, It can be too much sometimes, and even the Bible can be a bad thing. Please, don’t get it twisted. Moreover, the reason for timing your tea’s steeping process is so crucial to the tea-making process.

If the tea steeps for a minute longer then it is supposed to, it will likely become too bitter for your tasting. There is a great difference in being strong, bold, and bitter. Strong, it’s good, it is what you look for in a good British cuppa. Bold is also good, but bitter is not. Bitter is not strength, bitter is not bold, and it can go the other way as well. Bold isn’t bitter, and strength is not bitter either. Sometimes many people will study themselves out of God’s truth, completely ignoring His truths, and convincing themselves that they don’t even matter anymore.

Then there are those who study to the point that they think they know it all, and one could not ever know it all. Therein lies your reasons why studying too much can often be a bad thing. As long as you study with a humble heart, you can get as much of His Word as you like without ever going down these dark paths. That’s just the thing though, to read His Word, one must read it with an open, and humbled heart. Otherwise, you can also become downright haughty, and bitter to all the world around. You’ll be consumed with wanting to save the world, and in your mind you may think that your reasoning’s are right, but in your heart you will have forgotten the most important thing of all, LOVE.

Truth – Love – Boldness

It’s a phrase that I’ve been preaching constantly. You can be a Bold and Strong Christian for Christ without ever losing one ounce of LOVE or Truth. The Modern day churches are so consumed with the concept of  ‘love, love, love’ these days. And not without entire biblical ground. But missing parts of the bible nevertheless. Love is a huge and sole part of the bible and it is the foundation of Grace and everything we hold dear and primarily what Christ stands for. But not entirely.

If there is Love without condemnation of sin, then there is no love at all. Christ spoke boldly and he did so in love. In the scripture that many modern day believers like to quote where he said he did not come to condemn the world but to save it, he goes on to say that the world is already condemned if it does not believe in him and to believe in him is to turn away from your sins and commit yourself to him.

Therefore, one can have a strong, bold tasting cuppa, without having that bitter aftertaste. It just takes time, patience and a little bit of humbling of yourselves to take a slower, harder path. Because the easy way, isn’t necessarily the best way. Nor the fast way, or the most accepted way.

Finally, we find ourselves at the final step.

Step 3:

Once your tea has steeped for the proper time, remove your teabags, or if you chose to use loose tea leaves, then use a strainer to pour your cuppa, but not so fast, there is still a few more things to be done. If you like cream in your tea (which for a perfect cuppa is desired, but not required) you will want to take this moment to put a small amount of creamer into your cup.

That’s right! Put the cream (in) your cup BEFORE you pour the tea. The reason for this being is many, but the most believable is this, It is said that back in the day, common-folk who did not have much money couldn’t afford sturdy cups. The fragile cups would break, and crack when the hot liquid would be poured into it, so to keep this from happening they added creamer to the cup beforehand. Whatever the reason, all these seemingly ‘silly’ tea-making steps are what truly helps you to achieve the utmost proper cuppa.

Finally, sit down, and enjoy your nice hot cuppa with some lumps of sugar, or sugar cubes, or even a natural sugar free sweetener. With a friend, or by yourself early in the morning, or late in the evening to warm you up, have a hot cuppa of tea. As a result, the hot cuppa of tea will settle you down, or cheer you up all while digesting one of your favorite biblical passages.

In Conclusion:

Coffee Or Tea? (Just for the sake of today’s blog post, not for the rest of your life. I, myself still enjoy a nice hot cup of dark roasted coffee). As an experiment for this bog post, tell me in the comment section. Which will you go have yourself right now? Coffee, or Tea? It’s just fine, and dandy if you choose coffee over tea, that is your choice. I’d still like to know, and along with it, I would like to know why. My reasoning of writing this post was not to persuade you into drinking black tea over coffee for the rest of your lives, I could never hope to do that in my wildest dreams.

My true purposes for writing this blog was to simply explain the importance of how a strong relationship with Christ is like a good cuppa tea. Christ said He would prefer that we be hot, or we be cold. I enjoy iced cold sweet tea like any other southerner, and I most definitely enjoy a nice hot cuppa black tea. When my tea is lukewarm, it’s very distasteful, and it causes me to spew it out. Just as Christ will spew us out as it is written in the book of Revelation 3:16, So then because you are lukewarm, and neither cold nor hot, I will spew you out of my mouth.
. Make your stand with God, be on fire for Christ, be strong, bold, and robust in His truths. You can do so without having one ounce of bitterness in you. Because, it’s who we are called to be. My family, and I by many of our relatives, including my mom have been called us bitter for the stands we take on God’s truths.  Those who truly know us best, truly know me best, they know better.

With my all the pain my Mother has chosen to cause me throughout my life, and even with all the hatred my family, and I have received from our relatives, I, myself have chosen to be better, not bitter. Furthermore, nothing can or ever will break me. I will only continue to grow stronger in Christ,so when the fire comes, I’ll be ready. As I always am, as we all should let ourselves be, because those who come to harm us wish to see us destroyed, and wish to see us turned into something utterly disgusting, and pitiful, damaged by the flames.

However, we will use the flames to our advantage, we will come out better, stronger, and more praising of God then ever. Why? Because, we will come through, and how can we not praise God for bringing us through? People ask me why I believe like I do. The answer is very simple, I have seen what faith does, and to think what I’ve seen is just a small taste. It is a small fraction of how big, and mighty our God is. That should excite us all.

Until next time my good friends, God bless y’all.

Homosexuality – Is It Wrong?

Welcome back to the amazing blogging experience of ‘Nathan Tune’ thank you for joining me today and I would first like to point out that this post’s intention is not whether one supports someones right to marry a person of the same sex in a legal sense, but rather if one supports the actual lifestyle of the homosexual, now I beg you to proceed with extreme caution or not proceed at all for I will not sugar coat the biblical truth.

1779358_654970327893342_1940630349_nSo the question that lies before us ‘Is homosexuality wrong?’ anyone that portrays themselves as a ‘true’ follower of Jesus Christ would have to answer yes to this very straightforward question without the slightest hint of hesitation, now wouldn’t they? Why yes, they would, so why is it that they don’t? Another very interesting question as well, is it because people are afraid to open up about their faith, or is it because they don’t want to harm others feelings and they feel if they say something so unpopular with most of the worlds view then they won’t be liked by anyone anymore, could that be it?

Perhaps that’s what it could be, but regardless of the reason, when we purposely refuse to stand up for God’s truth whether they be from lack of knowledge in his word or from sheer ignorance or whatever the cause may be. What we are really doing is actually denying Jesus our Lord himself, and I have mentioned this theory many times and it’s not very easy for one to argue with because in scripture we are told if we do love God with everything in us then we will keep his commandments, scripture also tells us that he is the word and he is the full truth, and if we in any way deny him then he will indeed deny us on judgement day.

Is that even possible for such a loving, kind, graceful God, full of mercy and forgiveness to turn us away without even one single care at all is it really a possibility? Well it is, and most likely he really won’t turn away from us, we will turn away from him, and he will care about our lost souls very much and he will weep that we chose the way of the world but he gives us many chances to commit ourselves fully to him and if we miss out then it is only the fault of our own selves.

The New Testament Isn’t Against It –

It can so often be said by believers and non-believers alike that are in support of ‘gay marriage’ (whatever that is) that Jesus Christ or the New Testament ever really speaks about Homosexuality and never does it once say that it is wrong, people have also compared it with consuming shrimp, but that is just ridiculous. Is it worse than other sins? Yes it is and no it isn’t, here’s how that question can be answered simply and with biblical foundation, in scripture it tells us that all sin is the same in one sense, it will all lead us to death and hell if we do not turn from it, yet at the same time it tells us something else, it tells us that some sins deserve a worse punishment than others.

Verses Against Homosexuality In The NT:

  1. And he answered and said unto them, Have ye not read, that he which made them at the beginning made them male and female
  2. And said, For this cause shall a man leave father and mother, and shall cleave to his wife: and they twain shall be one flesh?
  3. Wherefore they are no more twain, but one flesh. What therefore God hath joined together, let not man put asunder. – Matthew 19:4-6 KJV
  4. For this cause God gave them up unto vile affections: for even their women did change the natural use into that which is against nature:
  5. And likewise also the men, leaving the natural use of the woman, burned in their lust one toward another; men with men working that which is unseemly, and receiving in themselves that recompence of their error which was meet. – Romans 1:27-28 KJV

(These being a few verses to say the least, Jesus goes into more detail explaining the importance of Holy Matrimony between a ‘man’ and of a ‘woman’)

It is also said in the bible that on that day when Jesus comes back he will inflict blows upon the wicked and some will receive worse hits than others because of the intensity of their sin, meaning that each sin being the same in leading us to hell is also very different in how big of the offense it actually is to God, stealing something from someone isn’t as big of an offense as murdering someone, and so on and so forth, but yes even though these sins may be worse than others in a punishable term of a legal sense, they all will lead us to hell and they are all sins that we can be forgiven by, that is the good news and that is why I am so dedicated in telling his truth, that is why I insist on speaking about what others refuse to speak about.

That is why I will stand and say that YES, given biblical proof from what has been since the beginning of time I will have to say, YES it is in fact wrong, Homosexuality is wrong and it goes against nature, it is unnatural in every sense of the way because it defies everything that we were designed to be as a society. In the words of Hillary Clinton (bet you thought you’d never hear me say that, neither did I) in 2004 this was her take on the issue and it is still mine to this day:

“I believe that marriage is, not just a ‘bond’ but a sacred ‘bond‘ between a ‘man‘ and a ‘woman‘. I have had ‘occasion’ in my life to defend marriage, to stand up for marriage. To believe in the hard work and challenge of marriage. So I take umbrage at anyone who might suggest that those of us who worry about amending the constitution are less committed to the sanctity of marriage or to the fundamental bedrock principal, that it exists between a man and a woman going back into the midst of history.”  – Hillary Clinton 2004

That was one whopper of a quote now wasn’t it? Interesting how times can change and that’s OK, whether or not she actually believed that I still believe it, I believe that was a wonderful statement. It certainly was full of garbage and lies, maybe not, but today it sure looks that way, with so many people turning on what they once believed it now seems normal for people to be weak and feeble in their beliefs, but here is what we must do, we must be bold.

In Conclusion:

Given the scriptural proof we have learned that not only is Homosexuality wrong in the eyes of a Holy God, the Old Testament or in that of the New Testament, it is absolutely unthinkable in every way. Now does this mean that it is OK to mistreat people who ‘choose’ to live this type of lifestyle, of course that isn’t what it means and I don’t think that is what I have done here and I most certainly do not think that Jesus would be approving of that. You see, there is a difference in ‘accepting’ the sin and ‘accepting’ the sinner, do you accept the sin or the sinner? You can love someone without supporting their sin.

I’m sure that you do it all the time without even realizing it, the bottom line is we as Christians can not allow these worldviews to get in the way of what we believe. We can not allow ourselves to be overcome with evil rather we must overcome evil with good and to do this we must be in his word daily and we must stand strong in it, if we are so quick to deny God over something as small as hurting peoples feelings over what his truth actually says then what is going to happen when they have a blade to our necks yelling at us to deny Jesus or die, what happens then?

We must not bow, bend, break or let them take what it is that no man can shake, and that is our faith.

Until next time…

Be Of Good Courage

Hello there, once again, welcome back to the blog, I hope that you have all been uplifted in Jesus name this past weekend and I pray that this post blesses you.

Today I would like to talk about what it means to be of good courage, all in the word we can find in the OT and the NT where we are constantly being reminded to be of good courage, Christ told us to do so because he had overcome the world, and if we put all of our trust in him and him alone then we can too.

When we are of good courage scripture also tells us that he shall give us strength if we HOPE in the Lord, it is also said in his word that with men it is impossible but with GOD ALL things are POSSIBLE, and lastly the word tells us that we can do ALL things through Christ who gives us STRENGTH.

How refreshing is that my friends? I suppose that there is someone at this time in need of an uplifting message and I intend to present one to you all today, did you happen to know that God is leading you and guiding you in whatever it is that you are going through at this time, he is there even if it doesn’t seem like he is watching after you and though it seems like he does not care, that couldn’t be farther from the truth, because we know that he died on the cross for us, suffered and was tortured because of LOVE.

So I believe he finds it somewhat offensive when any of us even consider to utter the very word’s “God don’t care” I think it actually gives him some amount of dissatisfaction and disappointment and I believe that it hurts him to hear such a thing, especially after he has endured all that he has.

However, no matter how tough things may get or no matter how bad our circumstances may seem we can never give up, we can never surrender to the enemies will and we can never stop and turn back from this path that we have already traveled too far on now. What we MUST do is to walk right on with our head held high and our eyes on Christ.

Fighting the good fight of faith, many people feel that the fight of faith isn’t to be fought outside of our homes, or in any physically way, and while it is indeed a spiritual battle first and foremost, we can use our earthly body that God gave us for his purposes on this earth however it may be and while Christ should always reign first I believe we also have a great responsibility to make this world a better place in any way we can.

We are most certainly to be IN this world but NOT OF it, however, that does not mean we can not contribute to the betterment of humanity.

In Conclusion:

When you are of good courage your heart will be strengthened,  you have put your hope in the Lord, because with him ALL things are most certainly POSSIBLE and through him and him ALONE you can do all things which in turn will strengthen you even more, both physically and spiritually.

I hope that today’s post has blessed you in some way, whether that be big or small I pray that you are uplifted to continue on in another day, and I do know that these are dark times we are living, but let us not dwell too much on the darkness that is, and this is to come, rather let us focus on Christ’s love, let us focus on his glory and let us focus on the sacrifices that he has made for us so that we might be saved.

Until next time my long distant friends, I wish you a blessed life, make sure you read his word daily, taking on the whole armor of his word and do not be afraid, for he is with you.

Welcome back to my humble abode once again, the internet is quite a strange place isn’t it, how could that even a possibility?

white copy

Perhaps because it happens to be for the most part one of the freest places that there is left on this earth and you know what else I seem to find strange? It actually works, there’s all different ways for all of us to ‘connect’ with each other – no matter how far away from the other person we are.

It also gives us a bit of an opportunity to be someone that we can’t always be in real life, yeah you do get your online bullies, which for some cases can be the worst type of bullying and it’s a terrible thing and something that we should all stand up against and I believe that more and more, people really are.

However, I seem to be getting off subject, or am I? Perhaps I am just getting to another side of the issue maybe? The side where we can actually learn how to triumph over the most darkest times that we might ever face in our lifetime, but how exactly can we do this?

Sometimes, our greatest ‘Triumph’s‘ – may come, from our worst falls. – Nathan Tune

I believe this is rather true in many situations, and I say this not only to make a point of my own but I say this from what I have seen in my family’s life, it seems that our greatest triumphs always comes after our worst falls, and we for sure have had a few falls, many times I often wonder how we even got through like we did.

Blessed We Are –

I guess I would have to say that we are incredibly blessed, which so happens to bring me to my next point in this post – God – yes, that’s right ‘God’ what role could he have in ‘triumphing’ over ‘evil’ if any role at all right? Well, in my life he’s had an incredibly huge part in every triumph I’ve ever made.

Because I will not lie, I will not withhold the truth from my audience – (however big or small that may be) no I want to be completely honest with you and I couldn’t do that if I didn’t tell you that God has had a huge impact in helping both me and my family over come and triumph over the hardest times.

People ask me why I believe what I do, they ask me why It is that I so ‘foolishly’ (in their eyes) believe the gospel without giving much of a thought or question to what it says or about life in general and my answer to that is simple, I may not know all the answers to everything in the bible.

I may not know the counter argument to a wild-eyed atheist that wants me to bend to his will and lay down my belief in God and sometimes I may not even know how to properly defend what beliefs I have.

And That’s Ok:

Because here’s what I do know, I know enough of his word deep in my heart that I know he’s real from that alone, but I’ve not only got that, because you may think you’ve won me over because of some ‘clever’ rebuttal you throw at me and you might think that you got me pinned down on the floor crying uncle.

But guess what, you’re wrong. Because I may not be able to fully answer the questions you have, and I may even wonder them my own-self at times and that’s perfectly ok, but I have inside of me something that most people don’t have – and that would be an deeply rooted faith in God from having experience.

Experience in the miracles that he has performed in my life – experience from all the ‘worst falls’ he has brought us through.

In Conclusion:

Everyday we gotta get up and act as if it’s our birthday, act as if it’s the start of something new, because that’s really what it is if you think about it.

I always like to say this rather often – each sunrise is not the end of a day gone by, but the beginning of another day yet to come – well it’s something like that, my point is this though and I say this from a bit of experience as well.

The end is not the end, rather the end is just the beginning, it has often been said that life is like a book and we may go through chapters or pages in our life, but the book of ‘this’ life isn’t completely over until the end of our life on this side.

And even then, if you truly believe like me, it isn’t over.

So without further ado, I hope to leave you with new thoughts and new revelation about the subject of triumphing over the dark times in your life and I hope to leave you with that sweet and salty taste in your mouth that comes from some weird American-Chinese food dish.

Until next time –

I’m Nathan Tune signing off from deep within the conservative piney-woods of East Texas, wishing you and those around you, chili cheese burgers, fries, Dr. Pepper and love.

God First…

This is a picture of my bible cover that I got as gift for Easter back in 2013 and I would really like to make something clear between me and you, the readers.

bible o

I contemplate for quite sometime what it is that I am going to say, before I say it, why? Because  in reality I really don’t want to say something that I shouldn’t, I study things before I make a comment on them and I make sure I have as much information about that subject BEFORE I form a personal opinion on the matter, and most times If I do I am able to back it up with facts.

However, there are times that I feel strongly impressed upon by God to say some very controversial things and I give much prayer and thought to these matters as well, I don’t normally speak without thinking and I am not afraid to say what it is that I feel God has brought to my attention to say.

Because unlike some ‘Christians’ I actually care for peoples souls, I care about feelings oh yes but in the end if you truly are a Christian, which one will really count? Saving a person’s own feelings, or saving their soul? You’ve really got to think about that one because most Christians today don’t.

They cling on to this ‘false’ wishy washy love that they interpret to mean sparing a persons feelings in order to get them to come to Christ, but will they truly ever come to Christ, most times they will not truly come to Christ and I’m not saying spewing all kinds of hate like those WestBoro baptist church loonies either. I’m talking about standing firm in your principals of truth in love with boldness.

These are the things that I have been working hard to emphasize all year long, I believe that it is vital that we as THE Church Of Jesus Christ quit being such wussified babies, and man up about our faith. Take a firm stand in the Lord and not back down from it, regardless of the consequences, regardless of hurting feelings at times, regardless of being called a hater.

No, we won’t intend to hurt anyone, never. Never do I purposely plan to hurt people for my joy and I always use my words ever so carefully because I do not want to hurt people on purpose, BUT at the same time I use TRUTH in LOVE with BOLDNESS…

This Is Key:

When we lose this key we will lose all hope of ever actually reaching these people, if we try all love love love then they will be lost from not being deeply rooted in his entire truth, and if we simply try hate hate hate (which I never support or do not ever recommend and do not believe it’s ever found in the bible) then those we are hoping to reach will turn away from being hurt by us and this is not what we want to happen.

Here’s what we want my friends, we want to be their friend for real, we want to love them, we want to care for them exactly as Jesus would, because think about it, we need to be constantly asking ourselves WWJD?

It amazes me how many people completely ignore this simple step in finding out how it is that Jesus would want you to act, what he would want you to do, say or move in a specific situation, now is it because they just don’t care or what? I mean how can so many be so careless as to what it is that their heavenly Father would want them to do?

Perhaps that isn’t always the case, if it isn’t, try to always keep that in mind from now on, because it is a vitally important key in learning to do something else like Jesus would.

What Does It Mean?

What does it mean to love like Jesus did? What does it mean to love like him? Along with WWJD, this is something that I often find myself asking, myself and the reason of this so happens to be because awhile back I was filled with a deep desire to know what it meant to love exactly like Jesus used to.

To love exactly how it is that he loves now, because I know when he sees the lost and his sheep doing things that will lead them to hell, I know it must hurt, but how much? I’m pretty sure that I can’t even possibly begin to imagine the type of pain that he must feel, I mean after all he  did love us all so much that he died on the cross for our sins so that if we would believe in him we could be saved.

So you can only try and comprehend how much it is that he actually loves us, because in reality we can never truly understand it, but can we ever understand what it means to love LIKE him?Perhaps we can, I think we can anyways, because I prayed and asked him to show me and every since then each time I see something that isn’t in accordance with God’s word my heart aches out more than it ever has before in an incredible moving way.

I used the photo of my bible cover to say this.

In Conclusion:

Even if one day that bible is illegal in this country right here, I have my mind set, I am most certainly ready to be killed for defending what it has to say, not merely defending it, but doing what it commands me to do, now It doesn’t command me to kill, rape, behead or brutally murder anyone that doesn’t agree with what it says.

Nor do I believe that is what it tells me to do, no, I believe that in scripture I am commanded to go out and preach the gospel amongst the world.

Go ye into all the world, and preach the gospel to every creature. – Mark 16:15 K.J.V.

To present people his word, the word ‘Gospel’ is translated into “Good News” people have a choice to accept or reject it, I can’t bend or break them either way, my only job is to tell you about Jesus.

So in closing let me leave you with this, one of the most inspirational, most known quoted verses in the bible, and in the world.

John 3:16
For God So loved the world that he gave his only begotten Son, that whosoever believeth in him should NOT perish but have everlasting life.

Until next time…

Well I’m not known for being too conscious of a person’s feelings not always anyways, especially when it comes to their soul.

Today I know that I am touching on a very, well, touchy subject, the majority of ‘Modern Day Christians’ love to quote prosperity verses that are ever so rarely found in the word, and if it is found in the bible, then they are mostly in the old testament.

Not ALL prosperity though, usually the kind of prosperity preachers like is the world kind like, Joel Osteen, T.D. Jakes, Creflo Dollar, Joseph Prince and so many others in the TV preacher world love to talk about, and if you EVER try to call attention to these false teachings then GOD FORBID, how DARE you JUDGE those ‘Men Of God’ how DARE you even consider paying ANY attention to the MULTIPLE verses found right there in the bible WARNING us of wolves like these.

How DARE You:

Or wait, actually…  HOW DARE JESUS!

Many people seem to misunderstand the verses context in Matt. 7:1 “Judge Not” as matter of fact, sometimes (if it weren’t for them always quoting OT verses about riches) I would guarantee that “Judge Not” is the only thing they even seen in the bible however we know that the word of God does NOT contradict itself, it goes into a perfect harmony with itself.

When Jesus was telling us not to Judge, he also explained that we SHOULD judge teachers before us, because outwardly they APPEAR to be one of us, but INWARDLY they are ravening WOLVES.

WOLVES my friend.

Don’t blame me, blame Jesus, he said it. (I shouldn’t of even said that, many of you just might.)

Matthew 7:15-23 KJV:
  1. 15. Beware of false prophets, which come to you in sheep’s clothing, but inwardly they are ravening wolves.
  2. 16. Ye shall know them by their fruits. Do men gather grapes of thorns, or figs of thistles?
  3. 17. Even so every good tree bringeth forth good fruit; but a corrupt tree bringeth forth evil fruit.
  4. 18. A good tree cannot bring forth evil fruit, neither can a corrupt tree bring forth good fruit.
  5. 19. Every tree that bringeth not forth good fruit is hewn down, and cast into the fire.
  6. 20. Wherefore by their fruits ye shall know them.
  7. 21. Not every one that saith unto me, Lord, Lord, shall enter into the kingdom of heaven; but he that doeth the will of my Father which is in heaven.
  8. 22. Many will say to me in that day, Lord, Lord, have we not prophesied in thy name? and in thy name have cast out devils? and in thy name done many wonderful works?
  9. 23. And then will I profess unto them, I never knew you: depart from me, ye that work iniquity

Judge not according to the appearance, but judge righteous judgment. – John 7:24 K.J.V.

The above scriptures in Matthew are very clear that Jesus wanted us to BEWARE of those fluff and puff teachers, teachers of all kinds really, regardless of what they teach, and John is very clear that Jesus instructs us to use some common sense and discern things righteously, the bottom line is if it doesn’t line up with God’s word, then I’m sorry my friends, they are not of God.

Because the Old Testament is passed away right? Well there are things that no longer apply and then there are things that do, the thing is though, people get those things mixed up.

When someone is wanting to find a way to support their sinful lifestyle they will quickly point out that in the NT “God is love, God is Grace, Forgiveness, Mercy the OT is meaningless now, don’t get a haircut dude!”

Which is pretty much ALL true, but he is also JUST – HOLY – RIGHTEOUS, and that is something everyone seems to quickly forget, sadly.

Then after stating that they don’t believe in the OT at all, they then refer to it to support their fleshly earthly desires of riches and ‘worldly’ prosperity, no pain, no suffering, no hard road at all.

And many are able to accomplish this, but are they truly ‘living for God?’ I don’t believe so, not entirely anyways, God wants us to be COMPLETELY devoted him, he doesn’t want us in it halfheartedly, we can NOT be fence riders.

I have seen preachers get pretty much everything they ever wanted handed to them, why?

When you give in to the devils temptations and compromise the word of God then you will have people falling head over heels for you too, just as Paul warned in  2nd Timothy.

2 Timothy 3:1-5 KJV:
  1. 1.This know also, that in the last days perilous times shall come.
  2. 2.  For men shall be lovers of their own selves, covetous, boasters, proud, blasphemers, disobedient to parents, unthankful, unholy,
  3. 3. Without natural affection, trucebreakers, false accusers, incontinent, fierce, despisers of those that are good,
  4. 4. Traitors, heady, highminded, lovers of pleasures more than lovers of God;
  5. 5. Having a form of godliness, but denying the power thereof: from such turn away.
 2 Timothy 4:3-5 KJV:
  1. 3. For the time will come when they will not endure sound doctrine; but after their own lusts shall they heap to themselves teachers, having itching ears;
  2. 4. And they shall turn away their ears from the truth, and shall be turned unto fables.
  3. 5. But watch thou in all things, endure afflictions, do the work of an evangelist, make full proof of thy ministry.

Being a Christian is not easy, no it doesn’t have to be all hard either, and it isn’t a ‘religion’ of rules and no fun, not if you don’t make it that way, because it isn’t that way.

You know why?

Because Jesus didn’t say he was one single religion, he didn’t mention that at all, what he said in John 14:6 was that he IS –

NO man comes to the Father but by HIM, he is the ONLY way.

In Conclusion:

The message of the ‘Prosperity’ gospel holds no logic whatsoever, biblically or figuratively, because the way these prosperity teachers want you to go is to mindlessly unplug the negative cable from your car battery and expect it to take you to work with only the positive cable hooked up.

But come on, if you know how batteries work, you know good and well that if you unplug the negative cable from your car battery then you just aren’t gonna be going anywhere in it.

Because to produce power it requires an equal balance of positive AND negative.

As with life, our life as we know it consist of BOTH equally positive and negative events, and while the positive will always outweigh the bad, just remember, things wouldn’t be nearly the same if we didn’t have the hard events in our life.

The way of Christ isn’t easy, it’s a road of hardship, rejection from the world, hatred from mockers, and sometimes even persecution, but all these things Christ warned of, but fear not.

Because great is your reward in heaven.

There we are, the REAL ‘Prosperity’ Gospel, the prosperity of HEAVEN.

Cotton Candy fluff may taste good, but it’s just sugar and air (which is 99% of what comes out all prosperity preachers) and sugary air won’t keep you sustained, eventually you will perish from lack of nutrition, your health will deteriorate, with this Positivity sunshine and rainbow skittles gospel that Joel Osteen, Creflo Dollar, Joseph Prince, T.D. Jakes and so many others try to pass off as the real deal, you will eventually find yourself spiritually sick.

So I URGE you to BEWARE of these false prophets, they are leading many to hell with ‘love’.

But Christ with LOVE died on the cross for your sins, suffered the punishment we ALL deserve, so that we could be FREE, if we would only believe in him and his word.

May God bless you and keep you.

And remember, we want to be as true to God as we can, so that in the end we can say.

I have fought a good fight, I have finished my course, I have kept the faith: – 2 Timothy 4:7 K.J.V.

Who Am I?

In this life we often get caught up in this great adventure of self-discovery, trying our level best to reach some type of conclusion about our self.

The question that we many times find ourselves asking is the one I chose to title this post, “Who Am I?” Am I a Christian? and if so what type of church should I affiliate myself with? Should I reference myself as a ‘Baptist’, a ‘Methodist’, a ‘Pentecost’?

Because there are many types of ‘denominations’ that I could join, many ‘Religious’ organizations that I could associate myself with, but would that organization, would that denomination, would that Church even reflect upon the world what it is that I even say that I believe?

And what about my job? Am I a Writer, a Singer, a Songwriter? An Actor? A Preacher? A Policeman? How about a Baker? Let’s say hypothetically that I am a Politician, do I compromise all my values and beliefs just because of fear of being struck down by the big wigs of Washington D.C.? Or do I stand confidently and proudly before my constituents upholding the truth and values of our land and our Constitution that I swore to uphold?

What about my political party? Am I Republican, Democrat, do I lean Conservative, Tea Party, Liberal, Libertarian? Where do I stand as far as a political party? And let’s say that I lean a Liberal Democrat that is in favor of both Gay marriage and abortion, what about that?

But let’s wait just one second, I thought I just established above that I was a Christian, how could I possibly serve God rightly and justly, yet compromise his word by supporting the murder of babies and the unholy matrimony of two people of the same sex?

What Then?

Do I then cry ‘Amazing Grace’? Do I rethink my position and bend my knees repenting and submit my full self to God? Or perhaps maybe I just ignore his word all together and keep telling myself that, “He won’t mind, I’ve got to do what’s best for this world and this time, Jesus lived a long time ago, things are different now” Will I keep telling myself those lies?

What about my view on other faiths? How about those, do I accept all ‘Religions’ as the same, in fear of ‘offending’ or hurting people’s feelings? Do I stand by God’s word when he said In John 14:6  that he was the only way? Or do I let that slide by as well and cry out again ‘Amazing Grace’?

Because I know deep in my heart that Christ said, whoever denies him then he will deny them, but I keep telling myself that perhaps he didn’t mean that, God is love, mercy and forgiveness.

He couldn’t possibly deny me, could he?

The answer to that question my friends is, yes, he really could, and not because he wants to, but because he is a holy and just God, righteous and mighty.

The purpose of this post was to emphasize that, in life we so many times get caught up in the idea of finding a label for ourselves we forget ‘truth’ I personally have often seen too many times that people from some churches are overly boastful and proud of their denominations, yet explicitly ashamed of the one they ‘claim’ to follow.

Why? Why, I just do not understand, but I do know this, we must never lose sight of the way, the truth, and the life. I may lean towards the Pentecostal Apostolic faith, I may lean Conservative-Tea Party-Patriot, I may be a Writer, A Singer, and Actor and many more things, I may indeed be an American, I may indeed find many labels to cling to from time to time, as I’m sure many of you do.

But in conclusion,

Who Am I?

Most of all, I am a Servant Of Jesus Christ, because even though I may be a part of all those things in my life, He IS The Way, The Truth, and THE LIFE.

Until next time my brothers, sisters, friends and fellow servants…

What Is Love?

Love, a word that has been tossed around and spread across our paths so many times in life.

A word that can move mountains even, not just a word, but a feeling, a thought, an action, a tear, a pain, a small piece of writing from one to another, a crafted gift made by hand, whether it be a small act or HUGE, love… True love, has the power to change the course of history, lives, hearts, minds, it can impact the spacetime continuum, it can lift up, encourage, strengthen, it is there when all else has failed and it never seems to fail.

When true…

But love false can harm, love false can break down, love false can tear up families, love false can hurt relationships, it can destroy, crush, it can cause more heartache than an unkind word, because love false is the worst betrayal of ones trust that can ever be done to a person in this life.

Love false can sometimes even bring the most violence, love false can be bad, it can be deceiving, scary even, love without truth can be even more deceiving just as the truth without love can be brutality, one may say “How can love ever be false? How do you differentiate between the two, what do you look for in true and false love?”

A lot of people like to use “LOVE” when preaching the Gospel, which in fact is the entire basis of the Gospel, it’s the very core of the Gospel, but when preaching that love, let us review the things in past time, when Christ shed his blood out of love, when he was tortured and ridiculed for us.

I happened to receive a comment the other day about the blog post “Where Is God?” one I had written a week or so ago, and the comment said this:

That’s right. John 3:16. It  ALL began with love.

Without love, we have nothing – not God, not a Savior, no Calvary, no resurrection, nothing.

Love. It started with love and will end with love – or the lack thereof as Revelations 2:4 states…

Nevertheless I have somewhat against thee, because thou hast left thy first love.

It did indeed begin with love, a love so powerful, a love so strong  a love so big, so great, so amazing, so extroadinary that it can change, transform, and save even the most wicked vile souls that ever walked the face of this earth, but why?

How you say?

These people preach love, but they do not know, they do not comprehend and truly must not even understand what love it is they speak of.

If people could grasp ahold of Christ’s love more often like they SHOULD, more lives would be transformed, because that’s what his love does, it transforms us, because when we recognize the sacrifice he made for us on the cross out of LOVE, we open our eyes and recognize that love, maybe for the first time in our lives whenever and wherever that may be.

And when we truly recognize that love he gave to us on the cross and gives to us today, that is when we look up and say:

“Ok Lord, you died for me, I will live for you, I love you, I will obey you, and I love you because you first loved me, which gives me even more cause to strive to be more like you, to strive to be better.”

That’s the beauty of his love, that’s the beauty of John 3:16, that’s the true power of his love.

When we come to Christ we come to him empty, broken, shallow, completely destroyed and surrounded by sheer darkness, we come to him restless, without hope, without peace, without ‘love but then we turn our eyes to him, we read his word, we see that we are dirty, we are filthy, we are nothing without him, worthless, yet he seen us worth it all.

We see that we are in dire need of a Savior, and we see that God is reaching out to us, out of ‘love‘ offering us another chance, to make ourselves right with him, we are given a chance that we don’t deserve, yet; so many seem to take those chances of his ‘love‘ – for granted.

Scripture says:

Then he released Barabbas to them. But he had Jesus flogged, and handed him over to be crucified. Matthew 27:26 K.J.V.

Then the governor’s soldiers took Jesus into the Praetorium and gathered the whole company of soldiers around him.

They stripped him and put a scarlet robe on him,  and then twisted together a crown of thorns and set it on his head.

They put a staff in his right hand.

Then they knelt in front of him and mocked him. “Hail, king of the Jews!” they said.

They spit on him, and took the staff and struck him on the head again and again.

After they had mocked him, they took off the robe and put his own clothes on him.

Then they led him away to crucify him. – Matthew 27:27-31 K.J.V.

Nails were hammered into his hands and into his feet…

We read the story over and over again, but do we REALLY understand? Christ, our Lord, our Savior was one to talk of love, to preach love, to command love, and he was one who LIVED love.

He showed us he could not only “talk” and “preach” love, but that he could LIVE love…

Thank you Jesus…

So my friends, THAT’S “how” THAT’S “why”

Greater love hath no man than this, that a man lay down his life for his friends. – John 15:13 K.J.V.

So many of us are quick to proclaim Christ, we are quick to say we ‘love‘ him, but do we, do we really?

If ye love me, keep my commandments. – John 14:15 K.J.V.

He that saith he abideth in him ought himself also so to walk, even as he walked. – 1 John 2:6 K.J.V.

True love, that is the love our Lord and Savior displayed, and that is the love he seeks from us, the ONLY love he will acknowledge is a genuine love.

I am so thankful that he didn’t let us go, he could of said no but he didn’t, though we weren’t worthy, he chose to endure.

And because he lives (LOVES), we can face tomorrow.

We will strive to be more like him, we will strive to live better each day, we will turn away from all things dark and begin to be more of a reflection of him, (the TRUE light.)

Because we love him, we keep his commandments, we obey him.

Because we love him, we love others, and because we love others, we share truth with them in love with BOLDNESS… WITHOUT compromise, it CAN be done, I’ve seen it and experienced it myself.

True love, there is nothing like it, and once we grasp ahold of HIS TRUE LOVE…

THAT is when we will truly be shaken at the very core and turn our life over to him completely…

Love speaks.

The photo above speaks a lot for me personally, especially around this holiday season…

Those of you that have read my blog, followed me on youtube and other social media sites all know that my grandparents have pretty much raised me my whole life given the circumstances with my mom.

With her not being around (yet again) I am most certainly blessed to have my grandparents in my life who truly knows what the definition of TRUE love is, they have been there for all of us, even my mom no matter what she had done, my grandparents would always reach out to her again and again in love forgiving her of her trespasses against them..

Only to be hurt over and over, this last time has surely done one over on us all, but nevertheless we press on, comforted by the TRUE love of Christ…

I thank God that he loved me enough to give me such caring grandparents that have always fought for me, that have always done their best to take care of me and that have never left me, or their own children.

They have instilled in me (as they always strive to) what TRUE love means…

It means exactly what I just wrote above:

(And SO much more…)

Thank you all for reading,

Merry Christmas, Happy New Year and remember!

John 3:16

Happy THANKS-GIVING everyone!

I hope you’ve been just as blessed this year as I have!

Well – I certainly DO have much to be THANKFUL for, yet at the same time I have instances where I can be saddened… But I do my level best to focus on the positives rather than the negative, you all should know my story/testimony well enough if you’ve followed me long enough.

If you don’t, well just go back and search for it.

Then you might understand why somethings this Holiday season is a bit hard for me, but I’m not going to talk about those things in this post. Today, I want to talk to you about some things on my heart that I might of left out during my latest Radio Show,.

This is supposed to be the season of love, peace, joy, happiness, GIVING, Thankfulness (Hence the term “THANKS-GIVING”) Yet somehow each year more and more people seem to forget the true meaning of these holiday’s altogether, the true meaning of the season and as matter of fact, the true meaning of life itself.

Whatever happened to people just loving each other? Giving without expecting anything in return, thanking God no matter what their status in life? Enjoying the smallest things.

I believe it is something that we as a country, a society and even as a world have fallen much too far away from. But I will not fret, I will not worry too much, because I choose hope, I choose to believe that there are people who care about each other. They love each other and want to make a difference, I choose to believe that life can be better and it is when we start to praise the good and vilify the bad more often.

When We Get Back To The Scripture:

…It is more blessed to give, than to receive. – Acts 20:35 K.J.V.

How true this is, and not just because it makes you feel all good inside, It is ok for that to happen. But it is better to give than to receive because sometimes we just have too much than we even realize, sometimes we forget that and we begin to start taking things for granted.

So we have to learn to get back to the basics, we have to learn to give back to those less fortunate. We have to learn the true meaning of life again, the true meaning of the holiday seasons and the true meaning of what it means to be a decent human being again if we ever were considered “decent” to begin with.

We have to reach a point where we say, “ENOUGH” I have had it with all this garbage in the world, I’ve had it with all the hate, I’ve had it with all the greed, the commercialization of holidays and I’ve had it with the deterioration of our world.

I’m going to make a change for once.

It is our INDIVIDUAL choices, the way WE live OUR lives that MAKE the DIFFERENCE. – Glenn Beck

Yes, I did just make a Glenn Beck quote. Now I know a lot of people don’t like him, and I myself personally do not agree with him on some things. But he shares amazing stories, he shares the truth and I have followed him for quite sometime now and even researched him and he usually knows what he’s talking about and his “Glenn Beck Predictions” usually always come true.

Now, time to list all of the things I am thankful for this, THANKSgiving!

  1. My Family (Grandparents and Uncle)
  2. My Friends (Those Here In America & Across The World)
  3. His Sufficient Grace
  4. Being Able To Be Born In America
  5. Getting To Meet Chuck Norris!
  6. The Republican MidTerm Victory!
  7. Technology
  8. Love (True love not a wishy washy love)
  9. Life (To Simply Be Breathing)
  10. EVERYTHING (And SO much MORE)

I had to stop with “EVERYTHING” because really, I could get into a long thing of all the things we should thank God for everyday but I believe if we just thank him constantly for everything then he will understand just what we mean.

After all, he knows the exact number of hairs on our heads! Thanks for reading dearly beloved brothers and sisters in Christ!

Until Next Time…
