The Long Delayed Message – Awaken The LIGHT Within

Feb
18

It is often said, when evil rises, good must rise higher. OK – that isn’t exactly a phrase that is popularly known among the world today. If only that were the case. For many years people have debated, fought wars, argued, bickered. Killed even. For what? Why? What on earth is the cause for such, chaos? Is it a misunderstanding? Is it a misconception? Is it In denial?

google-starwars (1)

Oh come on, for the love of toaster strudels! (I do love me some strudel, don’t you?) Really, though. Why have men ravaged the earth for centuries, destroying one another as if life is nothing? There really isn’t a simple answer, or even a rational one for that matter. There is only one very sad explanation. A difference in opinions/beliefs. Rather then sorting out each others little differences, men would go to war. And with war would come blood, hurt and pain. And with pain would come suffering and with suffering, death. And with death. Hate and with hate would come bitterness. And with bitterness, would come… Sheer darkness.

Darkness across the lands like a plague, darkness in the minds and hearts of men, a never ending. Never failing, unstoppable, unthinkable, unimaginable, impossible to defeat, sheer utter darkness. Yet, not entirely… Impossible. Not entirely, undefeatable. Where darkness can lie in the hearts of men, so can light lie as well. For where there is darkness, there must be light also and for where there is light, darkness will also be. This is only the truth. You cannot have good without evil and you cannot have evil without good, for to have one without the other would be unnatural in every single way, in this world of ours – for this is the way things were meant to be it seems.

Since the beginning of time itself, light and darkness have been as far apart from each other as the East is from the West. Because the two cannot go together… While darkness can be a powerful source for the wicked, it doesn’t hold… Well, a candle to the light. Because where there is light. Darkness must flee. Which brings me to the whole point of this post, I believe.

Awaken The Light Within:

There are many who doubt, there are many who do not believe in the ways of Yeshua, our Lord and Savior, Jesus Christ. There are those who mock his teachings, mocking every word he spoke and those who mock his followers. Some even hate him, and his followers. (And we know where that leads.) They deny it with their lips, but in their hearts they know the truth, for one can never deny the truth of their heart, for the truth of the heart will always come out in the end. Whether one likes it or not.

Or, whether one wants it to or not. In these days we are surrounded with darkness, and with light. There has only ever been two options for us as humanity. Whether you fight is one thing, it’s what you believe in that really counts. For if you fight for light but believe in darkness then your fight is in vain for everyone. But even if you do not fight, yet believe in the light with everything in you, then you hold more power then all the most powerful dark forces together. Christ said, if we had faith as a child, or a mustard seed, we had the ability within us for his wonders to be done through us.

With our country being divided and torn into shreds bits by bits, by both Republican Progressives and Democratic Liberal Socialists, we have a duty. An obligation, to stand up and do what is right. To fight for a cause, a noble cause. We owe it – not only to ourselves, but to the fallen soldiers and to the families of those soldiers that fought and died for our freedoms. And most of all, above all, to the future generations to come. In some way, big or small. We will all go down in history. And while it is often easier to go down with the winning side, I’d prefer that side to also be the right side.

Be Pure Of Heart -

We cannot sell out our values, just so we can win. For if we win, but win without a cause that is just and noble, then we haven’t won anything at all, in fact, we have lost all and we have forsaken all. All that is good, all that this Nation was founded upon and all that those before us sacrificed everything for. How could we throw all of that away so carelessly?

I myself, cannot. And I pray that you, my friends. Cannot either. I was watching the Nicholas Cage film – ‘National Treasure’ the other day. Something was read from the Declaration Of Independence, I had heard it before, of course. However, for some reason. Now, more then ever. It meant so much more to me then it ever has.

But when a long train of abuses and usurpations, pursuing invariably the same Object evinces a design to reduce them under absolute Despotism, it is their right, it is their duty, to throw off such Government, and to provide new Guards for their future security.Declaration Of Independence

Some might ask, what does that mean? In the words of Benjamin Gates (Nicholas Cage) from the film ‘National Treasure’ –

If there’s something wrong, those who have the ability to take action have the responsibility to take action.” – Benjamin Gates (National Treasure)

Do You Have The Ability?

You may be thinking to yourself, “What can I do? I’m just a small person. I have nothing, I’m nothing. I am no one.” Well, think again. Have you not even heard of ‘The Lord Of The Rings’ or ‘The Hobbit’ film trilogies for goodness sake’s? (Yes, you can tell, in my time away, I have watched many movies. It’s a terrible effect of working at a movie theater, or wait, it’s not such a terrible effect after all.)

Where was I? OH – Yes! ‘LOTR’ (must I explain everything?) and ‘The Hobbit’ are amazing films, extraordinary even. Featuring many mystical creatures and wonderful adventures, but the stories seem to revolve around one extraordinary species in particular. The Half-lings, the ‘Hobbits’. These small beings, with incredibly large courage, (larger then most of us may ever dare to have, I myself included.) If we could have just an ounce of courage – that of a Hobbit. Think what we could do. My point being this. Do not belittle yourselves my dear children. Do not be dismayed. God is still on the throne and he still needs ME and YOU more then ever.

What Light?

I’m most certain that by now, you are all wondering. “What light was he talking about that needed to be awaken?” Either that or you’ve forgotten the light altogether during my on and on nonsense rambling. Nevertheless, my point is finally about to be made. There is a great light within us all, what we choose to do with it is up to us. We can either let it be smoldered out, having it die with time. Or, we can fuel it with passion. We can use it to do the good works of our Father in heaven. We can use it, to take our Nation back, little by little.

If you are someone who believes that our Nation is too far gone. Then you really are lost, you really should just leave now. It will take those of great faith to fight the forces of the dark side and there can be no weakness. We must be strong in spirit and in truth. The Primary elections are upon us. Those of you who have yet to vote. Be wise in your decisions, there are many who lie, many who wish to do us harm. This is true. But there is still some good in this world Brother’s and Sister’s. We just have to find it. Pray and seek God, I have done this. And I have not found any better man that I would have be the President, nor any other man that I could give my vote for Commander In Chief, other than TED CRUZ regardless of what the media says of him and regardless of what his opponents says of him, being a resident of Texas. He has a proven track record to do what he says he will do.

He is a fighter of the faith and a Brother in Christ, while one may think that there are other good candidates, those are low in numbers and  I cannot bring myself to support any of them and there may be only one who would get my vote other then Ted Cruz. However, I cannot allow myself to settle for less and neither should you. We must unite with one another and we must stand with the side of right.

Of course, I didn’t write a 1,400+ word blog post just to endorse a presidential candidate at the end. I write where my heart leads me, and I give my heart to Christ and I pray to be led by his Spirit, I write what I feel led to.

And – In Conclusion:

Whatever the future of our Nation may be and whoever is to be our future President, there is at least one certainty we can rest assured in. The certainty that Jesus Christ will reign just as powerful on that day as he does on this day. So continue in fighting the forces of the dark side, no matter how hopeless it may seem. Because one day, it will all count for something, something far greater then any of us could ever imagine. Something, extraordinary.

May Yahweh bless thee, and keep thee: may Yahweh make his face shine upon thee, and be gracious unto thee: may Yahweh lift up his countenance upon thee, and may Yahweh give thee peace. – Numbers 6:24-26

Love & Shame Of America

Jun
27

During the whole ‘unlawful’ ‘legalization’ of ‘Gay Marriage’ (whatever that is) I have seen quite a few people speak the phrase “I’m ashamed of my country” That is a phrase that I have a hard time getting around. I must ask myself, we must all ask ourselves. “Are WE ashamed of our country? Am *I* ashamed of my country?”

grunge_bless_america___precut_png_stock_by_somadjinn-d727784For me, the answer to that question has got to be, ‘Yes’ and ‘No’. I will always have a great love and patriotism for the core values of what America was founded upon, what America used to be. How we once stood up and defended freedom, justice, equality, liberty and all of that good stuff. How we took a stand against terrorism and put an end to it right then and there when it was the darkest times the world had ever seen. How we were that shining city on a hill, a leading example for the world. A place where people looked to for freedom, shelter and a better way of life.

A place where people could actually make something of themselves, not get any benefit under the sun if they came here as an immigrant, but where they could be anything they wanted with hard work and determination. That is what makes me proud to be an American. The men and women before me that actually built this country, instead of just ‘talking’ about building, they actually did. The brave men and women that died defending it’s founding principles to the bitter end. Even if it meant their life, they stood for what was right. Not like us wimps today. So no, I’m very proud of my country. Or well, what it used to be.

I Am Ashamed –

But today, I am very ashamed of what it has become. Of what her people have become. You cannot say “God bless you’ without someone curling up into the fetal position with their feelings hurt. You can’t have Jesus in school because it’s ‘unconstitutional’ so he is removed. Yet when anything goes wrong the first question anyone asks is “Where is God?” the answer to that is that he wasn’t allowed on the premises. Could it of been avoided if he was? That is a high possibility. He does defend his people. Those that call on his name.

What was once unthinkable is now acceptable in many peoples minds and they don’t even care how it affects them or are country. They don’t even care how each so called ‘victory’ in the Democratic party is just another loss for all of us as Americans as far as freedom is concerned. So yes. I am very ashamed at what America has become, because everyone has become a bunch of wimps. I am ashamed of our leaders.

Mothers young sons died fighting for freedoms and religious liberties so we could wimp out. I think not. Christians are too afraid to get political but I believe it is a Christian’s duty to be concerned with these issues. Americans in the beginning dealt with two things very seriously. God and Politics. Many people think the two can’t collide and they are right. In the wrong way they can’t, but in the right way they can.America was based on freedom, morals, values. Ethics. Now we bow down to everyone under the sun.

We are weak and feeble. We have no backbone anymore. We put the desires of other cultures before the founding principles of our own. Our founding Fathers was be sickened with disgust of how weak we have become. Quite frankly, I wouldn’t blame them.

We deserve to be spat on in the face for our ignorance.

In Conclusion:

With that said, what do I believe about Gay Marriage? I believe in what the bible says, (and no, don’t give me that garbage about shrimp being worse then gay marriage. Either you can’t read or you don’t know how the bible defines things) the bible tells us that marriage was a sacred bond created by God. A bond between a man and a woman.

Therefore, I do not believe in ‘Gay Marriage’ nor do I support it. I would not ever vote to make it legal. HOWEVER, this is a big however by the way. I do believe that the STATES have a right to choose whatever it is that they want when it comes to this issue.

I believe as a Christian and a Conservative that these two beliefs are based upon freedom, liberty and free will. You can’t very have freedom, liberty and free will when it is being oppressed. So, while I myself personally do not support the idea of ‘legal’ ‘gay marriage’ I do support a persons right and free will to live however it is that they please. Which means this.

The Supreme Court should not have any right to tell individual states what to do in this matter. If states want to vote for gay Marriage, fine, let them have it. Don’t force them to stop it. If states don’t want it, don’t force them to do it. Simple as that. And lastly. Don’t sue Bakeries, T-Shirt Companies, or Photographers for not participating in the wedding ceremonies because that goes against their ‘religious’ beliefs and that is wrong. Do not make them out to be this awful ‘bigoted’ hateful people when all they are doing is refusing to participate in a gay wedding. After all, it isn’t like they are cutting their heads off or anything. (Oh wait, I’m sorry. That is from places like Saudi Arabia and Sharia Law where that happens. Which happens to be the same location of many well known Liberal owned companies. HA how hypocritical) makes me sick.

Stop being such wussified hypocritcal babies and stand up for what you believe. Not in hate, no. Do it in love. With truth. And with boldness. That’s what it’s going to take. Where we can find common ground, for the sake of ALL our lives and all our freedoms and our country lets find common ground. Lets stand together. Let’s stand strong.

Until next time…

Remember The Fallen

May
25

Do you enjoy waking up late in the morning in the safety of your own home? Do you like being able to go to work and make your own way without fear of being blown up by some radical terrorists? Do you like going to the grocery store and buying your own food? Do you like sitting in your living room watching your favorite television shows at night after a hard days work?

11355487_1146998005325713_1324618710_nDo you take comfort in the fact that people aren’t beheaded in the middle of the streets? Gays aren’t slaughtered for being gay and people aren’t martyred in public for their faith? If you enjoy all of these freedoms, liberties, rights, privileges. Whatever you wish to call them, if you enjoy the benefits of freedom, know this. It does not come without a cost, this past weekend and today many American Families may be gathered around their barbecue grills. Enjoying a nice meal of smoked Ribs, Burgers, fries, Potato Salad, Macaroni Salad, the works.

But in our peaceful little world, do we really look at this time as anything more than a day off to “have fun” “live life” eat and pig out? Or do we really recognize its true meaning? While there are most certainly many scum out there that may ‘call’ themselves ‘proud’ ‘American’s’ they are nothing more then a disgrace to the beloved Stars and Stripes that we hold dear. However, I do believe that there is more to America then burgers, fries, baseball and Apple pie. I have to believe that, because if I don’t, then what else is there left to believe in? I have to believe that there are far more out there honoring those fallen soldiers that gave up their lives for us so we could live freely, then those who aren’t.

Some Gave All –

We too often forget while living in the safety of our American pie homes, there’s someone that fought and died so that we could be safe. So that our families could live happy and carefree. Not having to worry about invasion or war. Death or slavery. Not having to live in constant fear of being stripped of everything they own. Just freedom, pure sweet freedom. However, I propose something to you today, my friends. If you really want to honor the brave men and women that died defending our country, how about you quit sitting quiet idly by while the Government keeps taking away all of our rights and freedoms that they died for?

Here’s a thought, what if we stand up? Get informed, get equipped and go out to take this country back, get it back to grass roots values of, Freedom, Justice. Love of Country, and a cold harsh bitter hatred of Communism, Socialism and Marxism.

Let’s get our nation back to a land of the free. Why? Because of the brave. They were brave enough to die fighting a bloody war over seas, more then once when we called on them, they were there. Is it not the least that we can do to fight here, on our very own American soil? For America? For the cause of Liberty? Is it not? I dare say it isn’t. It’s the least we can do, to take care of what God has given us by the fallen soldiers who died so bravely for this land, and to not allow it to fall into communistic hands.

In Conclusion:

To them we owe it all, yet, there is not much we could give that would account for the cost of their precious life. But we could honor them more then we do. We could teach younger adults to be more respectful to them then they are, we could teach America to love itself again, because. By golly, it seems to me that all the far left wants to do is demonize us. And sure, we’ve made our fair share of mistakes before in the past, and we still aren’t perfect. But bless God, I still love America. There will always be a reason to love America, even when America is not what it once was. If not for the way this country once stood strong as a city on a hill for all the world, at least let it be for the brave fallen soldiers that loved America so much, they died fighting to keep her free.

The flag I fly today in my front yard, it does not fly because the wind moves past it. The American flag flys from the last breath of each military member who has died serving

To America’s Guardians

Jan

Hello my fellow American’s, today I’d like to share with you a poem, if I may.

DSC_0191

A poem that came to me late during one night that I was having trouble sleeping.

This Poem Is Dedicated To:

(All fallen soldiers, All Veterans, All who Served, & All  who serve in the U.S. Military.)
To America's Guardians:(Of Freedom)
By: Nathan Tune
Copyright December 29th 2014

To those that protect the Red, White and Blue, what would America be without you?

The land of the free because of the brave, their battle cries can be heard from the grave.

Those who are here and those that have passed on, where would we be if they never would have gone?

Some just young boys marching in their first war, others old, and experienced, they had seen it before.

All come from families and homes like me and you, who leave them behind to defend the Red, White and Blue.

They are Mother’s sons, daddies and mommies, sisters and brothers fighting for the freedoms of others they have never known, the least we can do is let our thanks be shown.

To the brave men and women, both young and old, to their families at home who are so bold to share them with you and me so that we can be free.

I cannot imagine how it must feel, to constantly worry your loved one will be killed, while out at battle fighting through and through defending what’s true, the Red, White, and Blue.

God bless you, and your families too, may God bless you, for protecting, the Red, White and Blue.

Though I may not know you, we may have never met, and if you served in times gone by, I most certainly thank you for it.

If you’re just starting out, Godspeed my friend, may God be with you wherever you are led.

You have my support and others too, we thank you for wanting to defend, the Red, White, and Blue.

When the early morning dew so gently falls without a sound, I make my way to a tall poll above the ground, as the sun is just rising, I hoist her up high, there she goes in the wind she can freely fly.

I think of you and the brave ones that did die, in the name of freedom, can’t you hear their battle cries.

They were someone’s son, a smiling face someone’s beloved brother.

But now a void, a broken heart and tears shed from a mother.

Because they gave their life doing what was right in any decent human’s sight.

To leave a void, broken hearts and tears shed from a nation.

The fallen soldiers.

Not forgotten.

To those who did fall and those that did not let our thanks be known for you have given a lot.

Yes this is true, while defending the Red, White and Blue.

All my life I’ve had respect for you, and each time I see her flying so true.

I can’t help but think of the sacrifices from you, while defending the Red, White and Blue.

The colors of freedom, liberty and justice for all, one nation under God we stand proud and we stand tall.

Land of the free and home of the brave.

I hear the battle cries of those in their graves.

To the veterans and the young, active and inactive, new and old, may your story forever be told of you defending the Red, White and Blue.

Thank you.

ALERT – U.S. History

On this day in U.S. History….

J1

I have shared a photo of this flag before and I bring it to your remembrance once again, you see this flag was raised at Prospect Hill at early one cold winter morning at the beginning of this New Year 1776, a year of Revolution!

The Grand Union Flag, A flag of great significance that is hardly recognized today as a part of American History, who knows maybe it is, but most people I show it to have no idea that this flag has anything to do with America and they become very offended to see either of the flags of the two countries (The U.K. & The U.S.) defaced in such a way with the Union Jack in place of our Stars.

However the fact of the matter is, this flag is indeed the flag our Founding Fathers used at the beginning of this great nation, it is the flag of the early Revolution, it is the flag that was flown on July 4th 1776 (Independence Day) it is a magnificent historical piece that I am proud to own and fly on this very historical day in U.S. History.

If you would like to own a Grand Union Flag of your own you can do so by clicking the picture below:

Thank you for reading, once again Happy New Year & God bless!

ALERT – U.S. History

Dec
03

Well it’s time for a little U.S. History lesson about America’s flag!

December 3rd
On this day, December 3rd 2014 marks the very first day the very first (unofficial) flag of our country was flown. The flag of the colonists, with the Union Jack placed initially where the stars are placed today. It does however have the same 13 stripes representing the 13 colonies.

This marks a very unique and sadly much overlooked day in U.S. History, I seem to find the American flag a fascinating thing, and it gives me great joy to be able to display this lovely piece of history in my front yard today, in remembrance of the very first day it was ever flown 239 years ago.

Many people are actually unaware it was ever an American flag at all!

And to be honest, when I first seen it, I had no idea what it was either. But with a little research I quickly fell in love with it! Some people get mad seeing the British flag in the place of our stars, but that is indeed the flag our country used at one time and it was at one point an American flag. Unofficially that is.

It is actually the first flag that was flown into the Revolution and it is the flag for July 4th 1776, that is the date it was named the unofficial flag of our young nation. Making it in essence, (unofficially) our Nation’s  first flag.

That being said, if you plan on making a correct 1776 history play, do use the genuine flag that they would have used, because it wasn’t until 1777 that the Betsy Ross flag was introduced and adopted as our official flag.

June 14th 1777 (Flag Day)  to be exact!

I hope you have enjoyed this brief U.S. History lesson, and who knows; perhaps I’ll be giving one again soon!

You can get your very own “Annin”  Grand Union Flag (the very best!) for displaying, simply by clicking the image below:

Until next time…
