Let Us Pray…

Now, I know I haven’t mentioned much about mine and my best buddy’s daily prayer lately that is because most of the time since we ended the 30th day back in January, we haven’t been able to keep a straight row – like even just 3 days in a row. For the longest time, we haven’t been able to do so. I gave y’all an update on that part a while back with his input, too.

But just recently – THANK GOD! – since the 21st of March, we have been keeping our daily prayers and if we make it tonight that will be our 7th day! Another whole week of prayer together that we haven’t got to have in a long time! I am so happy (as is Cameron) that we’ve been able to do this. I know with each others’ different schedules, it can get very tricky to keep a daily prayer together.

We’re both far apart from each other, don’t have nearly at all the same schedules and sometimes he doesn’t even get home until 8:30 – 9:00 which I can understand (his dad is a TaeKwonDo Martial Arts Instructor and I know he helps him with classes which can run a little late sometimes).

Lately, we haven’t been able to make prayer until 10:00 or 10:30 pm. The time is no longer a problem for us. For me, as long as we can make it before midnight, I am ok with it. I do like getting the prayers in at 7 pm because of my sleeping habits had changed and also I don’t have to sit outside in my truck, but sometimes I have to anyhow because the signal in the woods is like… the (non!) signal in the woods!!  HAHAHA!

Now, we have been going good and then it’s not the time that is gonna be preventing us from calling each night to pray, NO! Now it is another problem… He’s limited on minutes. Well, my grandma suggested we could Skype… NO PROBLEM! Well.. We both gave it a shot but it was either me who couldn’t stay online or him who couldn’t.

Perseverance!

Well, our prayers were starting to run about 40-50 minutes all together but now with his limited minutes until they roll on back over again we have got to watch ourselves very carefully we don’t want to run over his minutes!!! But we know one thing for sure is that God will take care of it all! He’s given us each opportunity to pray with each other and we too have continued to keep moving forward.

There were times when we both got discouraged and wanted to quit trying to make each day all together. Then we thought well maybe not. What if we just draw it back to once a week together? Well, we decided to just keep making each day and do the best that we can.

We are very grateful for yesterday’s 6th night of prayer and we are hoping to make tonight’s 7th night! Either way, though, if we make it or not, we are thankful for what he’s given us and we will just move right along and start back up the next day – no matter what. That’s what perseverance is! Something we all need to try our best to have and most especially when it comes to serving the Lord!

Words For My Best Buddy and All of Ya’ll!

I am so proud of how far my best buddy has come. He is a real kind, caring, and considerate guy who has a real love for God and a real desire in his heart and it’s more then a blessing to have him as a friend and a great joy getting to pray with him each night.

I pray God continue to help him with his journey and walk he has been on and that he always stays true to the word no matter what happens in life.

I pray the same for each and every single one of you! In Jesus’ name. Amen.

I also ask that you pray for us so my best buddy and I can make our 7th night tonight! AMEN!

God bless y’all!

Sincerely,
