Welcome To My Blog 2016

Feb

Greetings, friends. Brother’s, Sisters, Traveler’s, Wanderer’s. Welcome, welcome to today’s blog post and welcome to my website. May you be richly blessed in some way on this day.

whiteblank

Hello, for those of you that don’t know this yet – My name is, Nathan Tune. (Jut in-case my website’s name didn’t give it away very easily.) You can read my bio to find out more about me and you can search the rest of my site to learn more about the goals and aspirations that I have. If you do so, please feel free to like me on the Facebook, follow me like a little creepy stalker on Twitter and subscribe to my Youtube channels. It would most definitely be much appreciated and I’ll do my best not to disappoint.

For quite sometime now, I have been inactive on my social media accounts. I’ve gone from posting regularly once a week to not at all. I build myself up just in time to see my views go all the way back down to zero due to lack of activity. I wish I could promise “NO MORE” to any of you that faithfully followed my blog. (Which would be very few and ancient of course) But sadly, I cannot. The fact is. Life can sometimes get in the way of everything, it can bog us down and make it incredibly difficult to continuously keep your creativity going, no matter how hard one might try or how good one might be at creating.

Don’t get me wrong, my light of creativity isn’t completely dead, not even a bit of it has been dimmed. Just halted. The candle is still burning, it’s just not burning as quickly as it once did before. Which is a better thing if you ask me. If you let the candle burn too quickly then it will soon become burnt out, and we don’t want that now do we? To be completely honest, when I started writing this post, I had no idea where I was going to take it. As I am with most the posts I write. But I have stumbled upon a perfect, yet short message subject matter.

Let It Burn – But Slowly

Slow and steady wins the race. Or so they say. If you think about it, if you light a candle and it’s not made well enough and the wick isn’t good enough quality. Then it will burn out too quickly. And in most instances, candles are used to either put out some light or to put out some kind of fragrance. There are so many fine fragrant made candles out there, that just aren’t good quality. You open them up and they smell divine. But when you go to light them, after a couple of hours, this huge candle is gone and it barely put out any aroma at all.

Now what good is that? In life, we often feel the need to use every last talent we have as quickly and often as we can in hopes of being successful. We go bold and we go strong – and… We go fast. Yes, that is the truth. The finest smelling candles that are cheaply made will start out with a bold strong aroma, but it will quickly dissipate into the air without leaving so much as a whiff of evidence that it was ever even lit. I believe that we, mere humans can sometimes become like that. Like a cheap wick candle that burns out too quickly. We too can become burnt out too quickly from going to bold and too strong and too hard in the beginning of our aspirations.

Which is why, I myself. From now on, tend to take things a bit slower. This will be the second post I have written this year. 2016 is an interesting year for me, I am still working at the movie theater I wrote about a few months back and it is still as meaningful to me as it has ever been. With all the new movies coming out this year it should be quite interesting for sure. I am excited for what is to come and I hope that you are too.

In Conclusion:

Sure, there is much to fear in what the future may bring. But we must hold on to hope, for without hope we have nothing. We must believe. While I do intend to write more regularly then I have been, it will still be on my own time and on my own terms. It sure isn’t like I have made or am generating any money from this site/blog. I write on this and share my belief’s and opinions because I care. Because I enjoy it, because it is my passion. And I have found that while it may not be much. Over the past 3 years of being active on this blog, I have almost written 200 blog posts. The 200th post is not far away and when I do arrive to that post. It will most certainly be as special as I can make it.

If it isn’t obvious to you yet, let me make it a bit more clear. (Let me be clear. Obama impersonation) I don’t have a definite theme for this blog/website. Not a primary one anyways.

My motto has always been this. I want to be able to write about anything and everything I see fit, so long as it relates to God and life. And I can make pretty much anything relate to God and to life. You’ll hear me rant about multiple things. You’ll hear me talk about God and politics in the same sentence. (HOW DARE I?) You’ll hear me mix scripture with a political message of hope and freedom. You can even find my full set of biblical and political beliefs on this site. You’ll find a presidential endorse at the bottom of this page and in multiple blog posts. You’ll find quiche recipes, cake, and television/movie reviews as well. Anything and everything. However, I strive to revolve my blog solely around these major points.

  1. God
  2. Politics
  3. Life

If you have a problem with that, well… Then that’s your problem. For those who enjoy this blog, thank you. God bless y’all (because I’m southern and refuse to say you all just to be grammatically correct) and have a blessed day/morning/evening/night/afternoon – wherever you are and whoever you are/may be.

SHALOM –

Hello…

Mar
27

Hi there, how are you? I hope that you’re doing well today, I just want to take a moment to check up on you that’s all.

Blue-energy

Are you doing well? Has anything interesting happened in your life recently? How about your week, how has that been going for you? I hope it’s been going great because nothing else would be greater than knowing that you are working towards a brighter tomorrow.

Unfortunately though, sometimes we lose sight of tomorrow, we are quickly losing a brighter future all together, hello, I’m Nathan Tune and what I really would like to talk to you about today is a bit more than you might of bargained for when you first decided to click the link in your newsfeed, or wherever it is that you were directed to me from.

What do you think about Family? Do you have a family, whether it’s of your own or it’s one you are a part of I am looking to see if you actually care about your family, if your family has the values that most all families do, like teaching one not to lie or steal or having good manners, love, faith and integrity.

How about something else, are you a Christian by any chance, do you happen to support some things that you might not really feel that comfortable with but you do so anyways just to make yourself feel popular?

Oh I’m Sorry:

Am I judging you? I don’t think I am, I’m just asking a simple question that’s all I’m doing because It’s not like you’re asking yourself that question now is it? Are you? Are you really even considering what it is that you are doing, or are you doing these things just to continue on in your cozy lifestyle?

No my intension aren’t to attack or to judge, but just to make you think, that’s all, that’s all my intentions are because it seems to me that too many people these days say one thing and then apparently  do another thing totally opposite to what they say and I am trying to figure out exactly why that is?

Can I even do that though? Perhaps I can, I guess I will have to see. A lot of people like to say that they are the ‘family’ type – they like to go to Church every Sunday without fail, they believe in the core values and principals of the bible and hold them dear to their hearts, but when it comes to big public actions, they show differently in those.

And then you know what happens? People all of a sudden begin to lose hope in humanity because it seems to them that all that anyone is trying to do is just get more popular by doing and saying anything possible that they can to keep from losing everyone they ‘love’.

One Question:

Would you even consider lying to someone if you knew they had cancer and you knew you had the cure to that cancer, or what about this.

(Yeah I said one question but oh well.)

Would you even consider letting someone that you ‘love’ walk out in front of a bus without trying to stop them? So why would you lie about so many things to them in order to not hurt their feelings?

I don’t know why so many people do the things they do but it really gets to me and I hope that more and more often people will just boldly and freely speak their minds without fear of hurting other’s feelings. I mean I understand the importance when it comes to other’s feelings, but at the same time isn’t honesty something important too?

Hmm…

Conclusion:

Don’t eat too much sugar or you’ll get fat, drink a lot of pickle juice if you don’t want to get fat, and if you don’t wanna do a single one of those then well…

I guess you can just eat a whole lot of pizza and french fries until you can’t hold anymore. Ok I’m kidding that’s not really the real conclusion of this blog post, I was just having a little fun, now I’m done; in conclusion – we really have to start being more open and honest with each other.

Even if it means a little bit of backlash every  now and then, It is very important that we start trying to have dialogue with each other instead of just trying to blame everyone and everything.

One last thing webianites, eat lots of cookies and ice cream it makes for a really great day, also this is this weeks final blog post which I would like to briefly discuss – from now on until I can’t possibly do it anymore.

I am going to be posting a blog post a day every day for 5 days a week taking Saturday (Shabbat) and Sunday off to plan the next weeks posts, be in continual prayer for me and wish me much luck.

Until next time…

What Now?

Mar
26

Good morning, good afternoon, good evening, whatever time it is, wherever and whoever you are, greetings and Shalom.

qmark

I write to you today in a bit of a rush actually, well not really, well maybe, who knows right? Sometimes we can get so consumed by trying to do something great that we can actually forget to just be great, actually living life the way we are supposed to live it and sadly that causes us to miss out on a lot and I often try and not make that mistake myself.

But sometimes I happen to get distracted by a dream, a goal, a strong aspiration of something that I really, really would like to do and before I know it I find myself asking the same question that I’ve decided to title this blog, what is it that you do when you have reached a point that seems hopeless, useless, maybe even pointless?

Keep Moving:

I know that this is something that I tend to speak of very often but you have to understand that I really personally know what this actually means, and I know that my family does, because all of our life no matter what it is that life has thrown our way we have always been able to keep right on moving with strength determination and perseverance most of all.

Without that I don’t think we would have gotten as far as we have, what now? I’m sure that there are many of you out there going through all kinds of trials and troubles and tribulations that maybe even I myself cannot even begin to comprehend what type of pain it is that you may be going through.

Perseverance my friends, that is a valuable key in overcoming all these obstacles that you may be facing right now, and I know that it’s hard to hear any type of encouragement from this 20 year old kid that you may think doesn’t know anything about what’s going on in life and definitely not anything about you.

Which is most likely true, I don’t know you, maybe I don’t but here’s something I am most certainly familiar with, pain, hurt heartache, struggles and hardships.

Believe:

You may have heard me mention this before, maybe not and if you so happen to be a new reader, then just listen to what it is that I have to say on this matter, perhaps you will be inspired & encouraged to ‘keep moving’ in your troubled times.

Growing up way out in the middle of nowhere in a very, very, very small town in Southeast Missouri, my grandpa unable to help much anymore, I was 7 years old – my uncle was 10 – my mom was unable to help from disabilities and my great grandmother wasn’t so well either.

I watched my Grandma conquer some very dark times then, when we had only but certain things to eat, the electric was almost shut off multiple times but every time God would come sweeping in at the nick of time, having heard my grandma’s prayers.

We never starved and we always had enough, and every day my Grandma would tell me to ‘Believe’ she would tell me that if I had faith in the little things, then God would bless us with bigger things.

FAITH-

…the substance of things hoped for, the evidence of things not seen. – Hebrews 11:1 K.J.V.

I have to say that from experiencing the miracles in my life personally, and in my families life, these are more than words that is often used as ‘pick me up’ words, these are actually the very core beliefs of faith.

I know there are many hurting right now, and while I’m not this Joel Osteen fluff and puff preacher, I’m also someone that does believe we can have comfort in our trials in pain – it’s not all ever gonna go away, not when we want it to and it will be there to cause us pain.

But we have a hope, we have peace and assurance found in Christ, I encourage you today to let not your heart be troubled during whatever hardships it is that you find yourself in right at this very moment, as matter of fact I ask that you be constantly reminded of God’s word’s to Paul.

Sufficient Grace –

In Conclusion:

His grace truly is sufficient to carry you through any type of pain it is that you may be going through your life at this very moment and while I mostly believe in spreading the core truth of God in dealing with peoples souls.

I also know that people need his strength to carry them through the trials in their life and I know that according to the scripture and from my own personal/family experience that he will.

Believe, have faith, keep moving on, never give up and never surrender because God is our mighty defender.

Until next time…

Imagine…

Mar
24

I’d like to share with you today, the last audio recording of mine for quite awhile.

imagine

I titled this piece “Imagine A World” because if you listen to the background music, which comes from “The Secession” on youtube; I was inspired just by listening to this song called “Move Forth” it’s amazing. I love listening to music, I really love everything that music has to offer us and if I do say so myself well, sometimes I can get a bit carried away.

However, as I was watching youtube one night thinking as always, I ran across this song and while It’s not the first time I’ve listened to this group, I have to say that this time I was truly consumed with inspiration, I immediately started writing the words that I heard as I was listening and then I went on to make an audio recording of it, which was almost impossible trying to get done because of the limited space on the computer (which is now full.)

I was struggling but eventually I got it done, and I’m pretty proud at how it turned out, and when I get the first chance I can I am going to make a video along with it and launch a campaign  called –

Be A Difference – See A Difference:

Because these are some of the most important things that I can think of that we as a society can do to make our world a better place, because if we don’t do these things then we will sadly continue to rush down this hill of hate, anger, angst, racism, violence, discrimination and cruelty.

I’m sure no one wants that, I sure don’t. But sadly I see it everywhere, Hate – I see it in the schoolrooms of our children’s schools, I see it in the big shot businesses of our society, it is easily spotted in the dark shadows of our media, our politics, our ‘religions’ in Christianity.

It can be spotted from all corners of this earth, with old hatred rising in the Middle East against the Jewish people, with what is happening in Ferguson, it seems to me that no one is really looking around for a solution. It seems to me that everyone is too busy blaming each other totally completely ignoring all facts and all logic, making it about race, oh the liberals have been doing that for years, Al Sharpton and others spew their hate against the Whites and I don’t deny there are White people doing the same against blacks.

But fire with fire will only cause more fire my friends, we have to fight this thing with real love, real truth, real equality, not a wishy washy love – not a half truth, not a liberal equality, but to get down to the core of this we need to reach deep within ourselves and start looking beyond race, color and sex.

Be Better:

It is incredibly painful to me how the hate is rising in our country from all sides against all people, of all types in all faiths, races, political agendas and society over all is deteriorating something fierce. It’s deeply disturbing, It angers me that people do what they do, people’s stupidity angers me, peoples lack of facts, ignorance and blindness to the truth it all angers every last fiber of my being. I might even rant and rave, but we have got to quit pouring gasoline on fire that will indeed create more fire.

We’ve got to be better, we’ve got to look at each other as people. #LIFEMATTERS ALL Life matters because if it doesn’t then what type of society are we? I don’t deny Racism, when I notice it or sense it I get upset, but everyone plays the race card, discrimination and it’s ruled out any possibility of real racism and it’s affected those people, it’s only stirred up more hate sadly, and things are not as racist as the left keeps trying to make them out to be.

If you’re somebody that really wants to see a difference, then be a difference.

Because once we start doing that, that my friends, that is when we will truly SEE a difference.

Imagine A World:

Imagine a world where anything is possible, where dreams always come true hearts never break, tears are never shed, lies are never told, pain isn’t a reality. Imagine a world filled with pure bliss, joy, love, peace, kindness, friendship, togetherness, laughter.

No cancer, no sickness or disease at all.

Imagine a world without hate a world without crime a world without war a world without hunger.

Imagine the best world your mind can possibly imagine, now open your eyes and go out to make that world – your world.

Life is precious, make it count.

Be A Difference – See A Difference

Are You Wealthy?

Mar
18

Before you answer that question, let me tell you a story.

GoldThere was a man, Frank, he worked all his life for everything he had yet he barely had nothing by the end of his life.

Everything he had worked for was taken away from him by his children, his wife had passed away three years prior to his utterly disturbing diagnosis of Pancreatic cancer.

What little he had left he gave away, he donated millions to charity and then had it put in his will that everything else go to the make a wish foundation.

His dear Anna would have wanted it that way.

Now, as he sits on an old wooden park bench all alone with a few pieces of stale bread he had gotten from his favorite bakery on fifth street near his wife’s favorite beauty parlor, he’d throw the pieces one by one, watching the birds peck away.

And all of a sudden this young man sits down next to him.
The old man quite startled by the company jumps back a bit, the younger man asks if he’s alright to which Frank replies “yes”
As he settles back down on the old wooden bench he begins to question the younger man sitting next to him.

“I see you have an engagement ring poking out of your coat pocket, who’s the lucky lady?”

Taken by surprise the younger man replied, “excuse me? I don’t even know your name?”

“Oh, I’m sorry, Frank. My names Frank, and you are?”

“I’m John, how’d you know abou-”

“Well you are a young man, and based on the sneakers you’re wearing with such a fine suit as that, being that your neck tie is slightly loosened, the richness of your dark hair, the texture of your skin and flawless wrinkle free face, I’d say you are about 23 years old, due to the value of the watch you’re wearing you are a rich man as well, being that you are only 23 years old wearing sneakers with such a high quality suit Id say that the money you have isn’t yours though, not entirely, you clearly didn’t get it by chance, you earned it from working on your fathers ranch, I can see that by the toned out body you have and the calluses on your hands, also the ring bulging from your coat pocket appears to be an 18 karat and if I’m not mistaken that haircut you have came from Shirley’s Beautician and Spa which would have cost you about $125.99 with a $15 tip, but of course you’re also a giver so I’m sure you donated at least $25 more to her charity fund that helps disabled veterans. The picture of you and a young girl is slightly hanging out of your coat pocket, I would assume she was your sister, but by the way you’re holding her and from how she looks at you I have to say she’s your girlfriend, based on the initials on the picture I presume her name is Louise. Anything else, John?”

“Uh… No, not at all sir…”

“Good.”

“Are you from around here Frank? I haven’t seen you before.”

“I mostly keep to myself, but you see, I’m dying John.”

“Dying? Of what?”

“Pancreatic Cancer.. I don’t have long, I want to spend the rest of my days out here, it’s where I find peace and comfort”

“I know what you mean, when I was little my dad would bring me here all the time.”

“I know, your dad didn’t always have much time for fun did he John?”

“No, you’re right, he didn’t. How did you know?”

“Well he’s a rancher, I assume he first struck it rich with oil, then he purchased cattle to further sustain himself, the cattle that when you were old enough helped him tend to. As a young boy he was always working, he only had Saturday’s off which is when he brought you here, to this park. Where you’d feed the birds on this bench, and talk about life.”

“Yeah, that’s exactly right, how do you know so much anyways Frank?”

“I’m old, John. That’s a benefit of being old, wisdom. I brought my kids here when they were younger too, they could never appreciate it though. Always wanted to go and play at the arcades with their friends.”

“Sorry to hear that sir.”

The old man sighed deeply as he looked out at the birds pecking away at the bread, as he goes to toss the last piece to them, something doesn’t seem right.

A sharp pain shot through his chest, up his neck and throughout his body, he stiffens all over. He tries to gasp for air but fails.

The young man next to him, surprised in a panic calls 911.

But he was too late. The old man died with that last piece of bread barely hanging out of his hand.

When the young man returned home he told his fiancé, Louise all about his experience at the park, she thought he was insane, but when he proposed to her later that night she without hesitation accepted with glee.

The story is fictional, but the moral point I hope to make, is very real.

Sometimes in life, we live all our life looking for a meaning, a purpose and a value greater than we can imagine. And while there is no doubt that there isn’t something bigger out there, sometimes, some of us never find it, because we are too caught up in the riches of the world, instead of enjoying the riches of life.

The riches of life are far greater than any riches the world could ever offer.

These riches are love, faith, family, friends, laughter, joy, peace, kindness and togetherness.

One might have all the riches of the world… But if they lack just one of the riches of life. Then sadly, without even knowing so, they are one of the poorest alive.

So I leave you with the same question I had in the beginning.
Are you wealthy? And if so, how wealthy are you?

Who Am I?

Mar
08

In this life we often get caught up in this great adventure of self-discovery, trying our level best to reach some type of conclusion about our self.

Labels

The question that we many times find ourselves asking is the one I chose to title this post, “Who Am I?” Am I a Christian? and if so what type of church should I affiliate myself with? Should I reference myself as a ‘Baptist’, a ‘Methodist’, a ‘Pentecost’?

Because there are many types of ‘denominations’ that I could join, many ‘Religious’ organizations that I could associate myself with, but would that organization, would that denomination, would that Church even reflect upon the world what it is that I even say that I believe?

And what about my job? Am I a Writer, a Singer, a Songwriter? An Actor? A Preacher? A Policeman? How about a Baker? Let’s say hypothetically that I am a Politician, do I compromise all my values and beliefs just because of fear of being struck down by the big wigs of Washington D.C.? Or do I stand confidently and proudly before my constituents upholding the truth and values of our land and our Constitution that I swore to uphold?

What about my political party? Am I Republican, Democrat, do I lean Conservative, Tea Party, Liberal, Libertarian? Where do I stand as far as a political party? And let’s say that I lean a Liberal Democrat that is in favor of both Gay marriage and abortion, what about that?

But let’s wait just one second, I thought I just established above that I was a Christian, how could I possibly serve God rightly and justly, yet compromise his word by supporting the murder of babies and the unholy matrimony of two people of the same sex?

What Then?

Do I then cry ‘Amazing Grace’? Do I rethink my position and bend my knees repenting and submit my full self to God? Or perhaps maybe I just ignore his word all together and keep telling myself that, “He won’t mind, I’ve got to do what’s best for this world and this time, Jesus lived a long time ago, things are different now” Will I keep telling myself those lies?

What about my view on other faiths? How about those, do I accept all ‘Religions’ as the same, in fear of ‘offending’ or hurting people’s feelings? Do I stand by God’s word when he said In John 14:6  that he was the only way? Or do I let that slide by as well and cry out again ‘Amazing Grace’?

Because I know deep in my heart that Christ said, whoever denies him then he will deny them, but I keep telling myself that perhaps he didn’t mean that, God is love, mercy and forgiveness.

He couldn’t possibly deny me, could he?

The answer to that question my friends is, yes, he really could, and not because he wants to, but because he is a holy and just God, righteous and mighty.

The purpose of this post was to emphasize that, in life we so many times get caught up in the idea of finding a label for ourselves we forget ‘truth’ I personally have often seen too many times that people from some churches are overly boastful and proud of their denominations, yet explicitly ashamed of the one they ‘claim’ to follow.

Why? Why, I just do not understand, but I do know this, we must never lose sight of the way, the truth, and the life. I may lean towards the Pentecostal Apostolic faith, I may lean Conservative-Tea Party-Patriot, I may be a Writer, A Singer, and Actor and many more things, I may indeed be an American, I may indeed find many labels to cling to from time to time, as I’m sure many of you do.

But in conclusion,

Who Am I?

Most of all, I am a Servant Of Jesus Christ, because even though I may be a part of all those things in my life, He IS The Way, The Truth, and THE LIFE.

Until next time my brothers, sisters, friends and fellow servants…

In Memory Of – Chief Chris Kyle

Feb
02

Greetings my fellow Americans/Texans, today I have a word for you…

Chris Kyle

Today I will be sharing with y’all a poem that came to me late during one night when I was having trouble sleeping back in the year of 2014…

About a week ago I went with my uncle to see possibly one of the most talked about movies this year so far, breaking blockbuster records at $248.9 million (something to stir up the liberals feeble emotions that’s for sure)
To take a moment to talk about the film, rather the man in the film.

I have not known much about this man, I remember hearing of his death Feb 2nd 2013 and I was very upset to hear that because I have a great love, care and respect for the people that lay down their lives for our country, the people that make such sacrifices. I hadn’t heard much about his story until now though, and while he wasn’t killed during duty it still saddens me greatly to see him go much too soon, and at the hands of someone he was trying to help.

(Chris Kyle born April 8th 1974 was killed February 2nd 2013 while trying to help a young Marine)

The movie was incredible, tear jerking for me personally and very hard to watch, what the men do to protect the Red, White and Blue isn’t something that we should take for granted.

These are lives, these are souls, these are Patriots that care about their country and they care about people they’ve never even met.

They lay down everything for a stranger, many times to be spit on by them, called horrific disgraceful hateful names, they don’t want to kill, I think deep down no American soldier really wants to kill especially faced with the tough decisions like Chris Kyle was when that boy had the IED, I don’t know about you but for me that scene was unbelievable, the whole movie was.

The silence in the theatre room at the end was just incredible, the sniffles of both men and women could be heard from seat to seat and everyone left not having a word to say, just pure silence of contemplation, was it really worth it? The only way to answer that questions is with our actions my friends, they laid down their lives for freedom so we could sit on our couches to let it be taken away from us, so the answer to that question is partially up to us.

Their sacrifices will always be greatly appreciated as far as I’m concerned, their acts of valor will always live on as long as our flag  flies freely and they will always be missed tremendously.

God bless Taya and family, I am greatly sorry for their loss, but greatly admire their ability to face the harsh scrutiny of their Husband, Father, Son by sheer idiots, but we all know better, we all know that Chris Kyle was a hero and I am grateful to him, to all other soldiers those that have fallen and those that are still here and I am especially grateful to their families.

SHALOM

To America’s Guardians:

(Chris Kyle was an American Guardian)

Here is the poem I wrote not too long ago:

   This Poem Is Dedicated To:

(All fallen soldiers, All Veterans, All who Served, & All  who serve in the U.S. Military.)
To America's Guardians:(Of Freedom)

To those that protect the Red, White and Blue, what would America be without you?

The land of the free because of the brave, their battle cries can be heard from the grave.

Those who are here and those that have passed on, where would we be if they never would have gone?

Some just young boys marching in their first war, others old, and experienced, they had seen it before.

All come from families and homes like me and you, who leave them behind to defend the Red, White and Blue.

They are Mother’s sons, daddies and mommies, sisters and brothers fighting for the freedoms of others they have never known, the least we can do is let our thanks be shown.

To the brave men and women, both young and old, to their families at home who are so bold to share them with you and me so that we can be free.

I cannot imagine how it must feel, to constantly worry your loved one will be killed, while out at battle fighting through and through defending what’s true, the Red, White, and Blue.

God bless you, and your families too, may God bless you, for protecting, the Red, White and Blue.

Though I may not know you, we may have never met, and if you served in times gone by, I most certainly thank you for it.

If you’re just starting out, Godspeed my friend, may God be with you wherever you are led.

You have my support and others too, we thank you for wanting to defend, the Red, White, and Blue.

When the early morning dew so gently falls without a sound, I make my way to a tall poll above the ground, as the sun is just rising, I hoist her up high, there she goes in the wind she can freely fly.

I think of you and the brave ones that did die, in the name of freedom, can’t you hear their battle cries.

They were someone’s son, a smiling face someone’s beloved brother.

But now a void, a broken heart and tears shed from a mother.

Because they gave their life doing what was right in any decent human’s sight.

To leave a void, broken hearts and tears shed from a nation.

The fallen soldiers.

Not forgotten.

To those who did fall and those that did not let our thanks be known for you have given a lot.

Yes this is true, while defending the Red, White and Blue.

All my life I’ve had respect for you, and each time I see her flying so true.

I can’t help but think of the sacrifices from you, while defending the Red, White and Blue.

The colors of freedom, liberty and justice for all, one nation under God we stand proud and we stand tall.

Land of the free and home of the brave.

I hear the battle cries of those in their graves.

To the veterans and the young, active and inactive, new and old, may your story forever be told of you defending the Red, White and Blue.

Thank you.

To America’s Guardians

Hello my fellow American’s, today I’d like to share with you a poem, if I may.

DSC_0191

A poem that came to me late during one night that I was having trouble sleeping.

This Poem Is Dedicated To:

(All fallen soldiers, All Veterans, All who Served, & All  who serve in the U.S. Military.)
To America's Guardians:(Of Freedom)

Copyright December 29th 2014

ALERT – U.S. History

On this day in U.S. History….

J1

I have shared a photo of this flag before and I bring it to your remembrance once again, you see this flag was raised at Prospect Hill at early one cold winter morning at the beginning of this New Year 1776, a year of Revolution!

The Grand Union Flag, A flag of great significance that is hardly recognized today as a part of American History, who knows maybe it is, but most people I show it to have no idea that this flag has anything to do with America and they become very offended to see either of the flags of the two countries (The U.K. & The U.S.) defaced in such a way with the Union Jack in place of our Stars.

However the fact of the matter is, this flag is indeed the flag our Founding Fathers used at the beginning of this great nation, it is the flag of the early Revolution, it is the flag that was flown on July 4th 1776 (Independence Day) it is a magnificent historical piece that I am proud to own and fly on this very historical day in U.S. History.

If you would like to own a Grand Union Flag of your own you can do so by clicking the picture below:

Thank you for reading, once again Happy New Year & God bless!

Happy New Year! 2015

WOW, 2015 already, it just amazes me!

DW 2015

(Only Whovians will understand the photo)

Doesn’t it you? Time, time is something that is here, yet it isn’t, one minute something is one way and the next minute things are completely different.

It always amazes me how time changes things, the way it shapes people’s lives, how it pushes us to move on, because the reality is when one life ends, life itself keeps on going.

I have seen many things happen this past year of 2014 starting early on in February when my grandpa had his first heart attack of the year, to May 17th the day my mom announced she was taking back the man my grandparents worked so hard to help her get away from.

To meeting my friends across the seas, In the U.K. and Australia from across the states to Wisconsin, California, Indiana, and the list could probably go on, even in Canada, so many people that I was able to meet and become friends with through the internet this year that certainly has made a good impact in my life as they are all remarkable and unique.

In October I met (the now new Governor of Texas) AG Greg Abbott who was out campaigning  for Governor at the time at a meet and greet in Tyler Texas! That’s not all, I also was able to meet the one and only Chuck Norris! Now, Chuck Norris is someone that I have always admired since I was a little kid, being able to meet him in person was absolutely amazing.

Yes, looking back I now realize that there have been both good and bad events of chaos in this year especially when you get down to the nitty gritty, but isn’t that the way all years are? Yet you don’t necessarily ever know what a year may bring, you can never in a million years guess that out of heartache God will bring bliss and outright miracles into your life.

Miracles:

Yes, I said MIRACLES, I am a strong believer in “Miracles” because I have seen many of them placed upon mine and my family life throughout the years, if it wasn’t for God’s grace his sheer blessings and outright miracles in our life I don’t know where we would be today, of course it did take much action on our part, we had to be faithful, we had to believe, we had to stand still and let God move.

And when you put your life into God’s hands, what better place is there for it to be? When you rest assured in the assurance of his sufficient grace, that is when you will be able to conquer all that is thrown your way, I am ready for 2015, I know it will be a year that will most likely be filled with much adventure, trials, heartache, joy, peace, love,  forgiveness, and miracles.

They are all around us, Miracles, that is, both big and small, we just have to be willing to look for them.

When we can do that, THAT is when we will begin to see the bigger picture, I am still a very strong believer that everything happens for a reason and for a purpose, a good reason and a good purpose, sometimes it may become hard to understand what that purpose and reason really is and as matter of fact, we may never actually know in this life time, but all we can do is trust God that in the end it’ll all work out.

Embrace 2015!

Welcome this year with open arms my friends, be not afraid, be bold, be courageous, share the truth in love with BOLDNESS. It CAN be done, I have seen it, I have done it.

Make this a year that counts for something, quit loving people into hell and actually love them with a real love, they may not always listen, they may not always agree with you but that’s fine it’s not about what they think it’s about what YOU do.

It is our individual choices the way WE live OUR lives that MAKE the difference.  – Glenn Beck

Again, I don’t know if that actually is a GB quote but that’s where I heard it from, and it’s true my friends, we are responsible and accountable to God for our own actions, we must share the gospel in truth with love and BOLDNESS.

My aim for this year is to do this myself and encourage others to do this as well, to share:

TRUTH (IN) – LOVE (WITH) – BOLDNESS.

As I have said many, many, MANY times it CAN be done, WE just have to DO it.

 HAPPY NEW YEAR EVERYONE!

 Shalom –
