BEEN BUSY!

Hey everyone! I’m sure that you have missed my daily blogs. And then also I haven’t been keeping up with a weekly post lately either so I figured that I’d better get y’all one written up for this here Saturday – I have been both sick and busy!

What have I been sick with? I don’t know, maybe just all that pollen going around or just some kind of flu crud but anyways, I have been trying to get over that, while also preparing for the premiere of Season 2 of The James Fickle Show! Who’s ready to see that come back on again?! I know that I am excited to get it back out to you!

I think from now on with most of my blogs, I will try to make an inspirational one as much as possible but if I can’t keep it weekly, I will blog every now and then to let you know what has been going on with my life all while adding a dash of encouragement in there as well!

I’ve been busy with much – my own stuff and then helping my grandparents open up a church. That’s right! The church in the picture is a little old community church not too far from where we live, and if you go over to the James Fickle page the picture of me standing behind the pulpit is actually in that little church right there! I believe I had mentioned that in there somewhere.

The first service for that little church is going to be opening April 20th at 2.00pm. We are SO excited! James Fickle will be making an appearance there that Saturday and he’ll be delivering a message as well! I’m hoping that goes well. It will be the first time ever performing James Fickle in front of a LIVE audience. Though I record all his messages live without any re-takes it will still be a bit nerve-wrecking for me.

REDLANDS COMMUNITY CHURCH

The Redlands Community Church was built in the late 1800’s and is the sweetest little church building. As you can see, I have just always loved it to pieces and it has that old-fashioned feel to it. Though I am not old enough to remember how most services used to be in the old days, I still have been in some good ones I believe. But I still feel that a lot of church services today are missing something, a big something. Most of the times that BIG something is the Spirit of GOD! Also because I am young it doesn’t necessarily mean I like the majority of these modern churches, I just feel uncomfortable about the whole idea and I’M YOUNG! I do like some of the newer Christian music but even some of that drives me insane.

I really do like the old small, little churches. I don’t really think there is anything wrong with having a big church… But it depends on who is in that church. If you think about it, it’s like the difference between New York City and some old small country town, I guess everybody has there place but even some people in the Big Apple are a little bit uncomfortable there and what’s the point of that? At the same time, though, there is something special about an old-fashioned ‘King James Bible Believing’ country church. It’s not a matter of majority as it is morality… Because most the times the majority of the church doesn’t have the morality as they need to.

I’ve also been busy getting an outfit together for my character James Fickle! I’m going to dress up in green plaid pants (which are already ordered) a grey wig (also ordered) a regular white dress shirt, a bow tie, suspenders, brown penny loafers (which were my late Pastor’s shoes he wore) and I’m looking for a little black hat and an old King James Bible that I can use as James Fickle’s own (instead of just using mine I want the character to have his own).

I thank those who have donated to my ministry! It helps me to keep the James Fickle show going and also helps me bring him to life with a costume! Still working on some things, so if anyone reading would like to donate that would be much and most highly appreciated!

God bless y’all!

Sincerely,
