All Things Are Possible – With GOD

DisneyWalt Disney said it right! What a name.

Disney, it’s a shame it isn’t as good as it used to be.

You’ll never be too old for a Disney movie, though, right? I know I won’t!

And I really don’t care what anyone thinks of me for it either! If you don’t like Disney movies, that’s your problem.

Anyway, doing the ‘impossible’ goes above our good friend Walt, yes indeed. To the mere human, it is impossible for us to do much of anything on our own. I like to believe that God has something to do with everything in our life. You woke up this morning, right? Where did that first breath of air you took yawning, waking up this morning come from? Who gave you that air? God, of course. He allowed us to wake up another day and for that, we are blessed – yet we tend to take it for granted. When you have God in your life, it makes it much easier for you to do the impossible. Look at me again, using Disney as another reference to why I believe In God and why my faith is so strong.

Jesus’ said in the book of Matthew:

“But Jesus beheld them, and said unto them, With men this is impossible; but with God all things are possible.“- Matthew 19:26 K.J.V.

It is fun to do the impossible!

When someone tells you that you can’t do something; if you’re like me (or my grandma) you’re probably gonna want to prove them wrong (depending on what it is). I’m going to be referring to my blog post a few days ago about “Dreaming On”  and if you missed that you can check it out later  – but for now let’s talk about your dreams and the impossible. When someone laughs at you for your dreams and tells you that you are just making a fool of yourself and what you plan on doing is impossible, what do you do? Well here’s what I do. My first defense is that I can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth me. My second defense is that God put this dream in my heart for a reason and a purpose a good reason and a good purpose and I plan on fulfilling it. Finally, to my third defense.

“Anything is possible, nothing is impossible, everything is possible with God.”- Nathan Tune

That’s how I’ve always believed, my grandma has this small piece of paper with the words “With God All Things Are Possible” for a number of years she kept it taped to her visor of her mini van, which she gave up to help me get the truck of my dreams. There is that word again. Though she still has the piece of paper I’m not sure where she keeps it now, but it’s still around – along with the door pillow I got for her that says “BELIEVE”.

Another reason for you not to fall too quickly for what discouraging negative remarks others might have to say about your dreams, goals and passions… If you think about these days, pretty much anything is possible. I seen this story about this man with NO LEGS who climbed the Great Wall Of China – The GREAT WALL OF CHINA, people! Now, I’m sure when he first had the idea to do that there was probably more than one person against him filled with doubt.

But he went about it anyway and not only that, he also accomplished his somewhat “IMPOSSIBLE” goal while showing all the doubters and non-believers that he could. Isn’t that an amazing story? Inspirational, isn’t it? So, if you have a dream or goal that’s half the size of that one, the next time someone tells you it’s impossible think about the man with no legs who climbed the Great Wall Of China and showed the world that he could. Look back on that story and don’t let they’re words of disbelief and doubt get you down.

“Let your heart lead you around; and wipe that frown right off your face, your heart can lead you any place.”- Nathan Tune

Let your heart lead you around. Wipe the frown from the naysayers right off your face. Your heart can, and will, lead you any place you let it take you! Never give up, never say never, just let your heart lead you around! Take with you belief, faith, strength, courage, and a cloud of possibility for your dreams, goals, passions and impossibilities to travel on and to travel far, far into the sky of reality.

Like I always say:

“With determination, will power, perseverance and belief in God, you can accomplish anything.”– Nathan Tune

That’s all it takes folks, is determination, will power, perseverance and belief in God to prove that you CAN, and you WILL! I’ve often said that Philippians 4:13 doesn’t say that, We can’t do anything with Christ – no it says that we CAN DO ALL THINGS THROUGH CHRIST! My grandmother has always told me that there is no CAN’T there is only CAN and WILL. She has also said (both her and my grandpa) that there is no TRY. You don’t try, you DO. They are really firm believers when it comes to something being impossible that if there is any way for it to be possible than they will find that way and make it so.

That’s all they have ever known, not like todays generation of people, though. No, they tend to give up too easily. When the going gets rough most peoples motto is to HIDE. People these days don’t care about what their word means and they hardly TRY, much less DO.

So what have we learned today?

  • It’s fun to do the impossible!
  • With God all things are possible; we can do all things through Christ which strengtheneth us.
  • With determination, will power, perseverance and belief in God you can accomplish anything.
  • There is no can’t only CAN and WILL.
  • There is no TRY, you don’t try you DO.

So for today and the days to come, let us all ask God to help us accomplish the impossible and show the world that we CAN with determination, will power,  perseverance and belief in God and that we will DO so no matter who tells us otherwise, because….

ALL THINGS ARE POSSIBLE – WITH GOD.

God bless y’all!

Sincerely,

  1. Yes, all things are possible with God. I mean, really, if you believe He is the creator of all good things, then He can make it happen. Simple and pleasing faith is what it’s all about!
